00:00In consecuencia, I feel very honored to be here in Paris,
00:04participating in a event of this nature,
00:07which marks before and after the celebration
00:10of the 60th anniversary of the Revolution of April,
00:14where, really, the Dominican people
00:17not only did not only try to prevent
00:21the victory and the return of the Constitution,
00:24but also the foreign voters
00:26that wanted to hold our people
00:28and that were faced with courage
00:30by our youth and by the soldiers of the country.
00:33Can you say, in a certain way,
00:38that would be in debt with some of the heroes
00:40of the Constitution of April,
00:42and when they were to valorize,
00:47or in other aspects?
00:49Well, that is difficult.
00:51From those heroes of our 60th anniversary,
00:54many have died,
00:56but I think that this is an event
01:00that must be taken advantage
01:03because the value of the revolution
01:06of April is immense
01:08because it was not a revolution
01:10to simply change a power by another.
01:14It was not a revolution
01:16because they killed a tyranny.
01:18No, it is that the people
01:20the people,
01:21again,
01:22a democratic constitution
01:24and the first social constitution
01:26of the Dominican Republic.
01:27The value of the Constitution
01:29for the State of Rights
01:30is extremely important.
01:32It is an example for America
01:34and for the world.
01:35An example
01:36that I do not believe
01:37that there is another
01:38of that nature.
01:40So, I think that
01:42the State of the Dominican Republic
01:43and the public power
01:44should have done
01:45in all the schools
01:46to do what they did before,
01:48to assign them
01:49to the students
01:50a job to investigate it,
01:52to see the value
01:54that the Supreme Court
01:55has the Supreme Court,
01:57the Supreme Court
01:58and the Supreme Court
01:59of the law,
02:00the Supreme Court
02:01of the Supreme Court.
02:02These are heroes
02:03of April.
02:04Today,
02:05they have to be reverent
02:06because they did
02:07everything
02:08for the Dominican Republic.
