00:00Okay. Yes. Chris.
00:03Because you're here in Pittsburgh, there's constant uncertainty about U.S. Steel.
00:07Hearing anything about developments involving U.S. Steel?
00:11With regard to U.S. Steel, look, my goal remains the same, which is to protect the jobs here in the Mon Valley
00:17and to make sure that the investment comes here and the jobs don't get ripped away to another state,
00:23as the CEO of U.S. Steel had been doing and had been on a path to do.
00:28While I'm not going to get into the specifics of my conversation with the President,
00:32I will tell you that we spent a good bit of time speaking about U.S. Steel.
00:36And I reiterated, or I said to him very clearly what I've now reiterated publicly many times,
00:42the need to protect the jobs in Western Pennsylvania, a goal that he shares as well.
00:48We agreed to stay in touch and continue to work on that.
00:50And I'm going to continue to speak to all of the different individuals involved at all the different companies
00:57and all of those who are interested in making investments in Western Pennsylvania.
01:01We have to protect these jobs.
01:03We've got to protect steel workers' way of lives here.
01:06And I'm going to continue to do everything in my power as Governor to do that.
01:09Okay?
