00:00so um for me anyway maybe there are some insiders reporting it and i just i tend to avoid that

00:08uh wrestlemania weekend because i you know your boy likes to avoid some spoilers but i avoided

00:12some news apparently because triple a has been purchased by wwe um this is an interesting move

00:20and one that i didn't necessarily see coming when you get sued for essentially being a monopoly

00:28that doesn't necessarily motivate you to then go out and start buying shit as a wrestling company

00:36in the area where you were just accused of monopolizing but it's out of um it it's it's

00:44out of the states anyway in mexico so maybe that limits it a little bit but it is it is fascinating

00:50and it kind of makes you think about certain things right because like on the one hand for a while they

00:55were trying to buy everything right because it was tape library tape library tape library okay let's

00:59go but they have so much of a tape library now they're not even putting it anywhere they're just

01:05like they are firing out stuff on a wcw youtube and an ecw youtube and their own so but like triple a

01:13already has one so i like i don't i don't think you get a whole lot from just acquiring the tape

01:18library which is kind of the motivations for all of this before um i don't think it's a talent

01:24acquisition thing because they can just acquire you know like it's it's they just got ray phoenix

01:31and pentagon it's not like owning um any of these things would have been like oh well now it's easier

01:36to get all of these guys in here or anything like that um so it's it is an interesting move and when

01:41you see like cmll kind of buddy buddy with aew and with new japan now wwe entering in there as well

01:49um it's it's it's it's fascinating um and it's tough to not kind of hold what wwe has done in

01:56the past against them for stuff like this like they basically like raided and uh just pillaged

02:02the uk independent scene for a really long time and it took them a bit to to build back up and i

02:07with all due respect there's a lot of talent out there but i don't think they have built back up

02:11to the point that they did when it's um like um like drew mcintyre in um or drew galloway sorry

02:19out in in icw feuding with joe hendry or anything like that when they're going to the hydro um at

02:25least doesn't feel like it hasn't broken through in my way maybe that's more of it i am sure that

02:30things are going well and i am just being elitist in north american over here and and being unfamiliar

02:35with it but it still doesn't feel like it has necessarily reached that level again since wwe went

02:40through and got gunther and dragunov and um mustache mountain with trend seven and um tyler bait and

02:49pete dunn and piper niven and and and and and right like they just went through got them all didn't use

02:57them and just left it stale for a really long time so you are concerned that uh oh hey vicino yeah come

03:03on over uh yeah nino embraguesa come on in uh let's do all these things uh yeah just just sit on the

03:09sideline for a while don't worry about it so you are a little concerned that that would happen that

03:13that was under a previous regime however and triple h has said like one of his plans was like an an nxt

03:19in every country and i i don't want triple a to turn into nxt or anything like that but one of the

03:27things that was brought up in the build up here and all the talk was uh nikon with a comment like

03:33we're not going to sign people just to put them on the sidelines and one of the things that i have

03:38been a little disappointed by in the aew relationship with cmll and new japan is like

03:44we're getting it now with nick wayne going to best of the super juniors but it's been a partnership in

03:50just kind of name alone you'll get a couple of shows where it's oh hey look at that all the

03:54wrestlers are performing and you'll get some um luchadors coming in and some guys from new japan

03:58as well i guess come in and they'll have like a spot match here or there but there's no real

04:02commitment to it so i think it would be interesting if wwe does have this with um triple a and now like

04:09it seems like there was a thing with noah obviously with omos getting a run with the tag team titles

04:14there so like if you don't have something for a guy like you know what i mean the chad gable one

04:19is an obvious example because of the mexican storyline right now but natty for example like

04:24she's going off and doing gcw but she hasn't really been on tv a whole lot you want to just take

04:27a run down in mexico for a minute you want to go hang out down there for two or three months uh

04:32we'll pay for accommodation or you can just fly who cares environment be damned right we're just

04:36setting people to space for no fucking reason so um i i feel like that would be a really good use

04:42like you have a very big very talented roster and say you have someone in nxc like a trick williams

04:47for example we've been talking about trick here on the nxt recap i i've said like the momentum has

04:52kind of cooled a little bit so maybe you don't have a spot for him locked in on the main roster

04:57but we can send him off to triple a we can have him do a couple of shows we can put some highlights

05:02on our thing flash it on social media hey here's knee and him knee and a luchador hi holy hell

05:07cool and so i i do think that that would be really really fascinating for them to be able to now have

05:12a few different spots they can send guys off where you know how um tyson kidd was in the early days of

05:18nxt like look we don't got a ton for you right now we haven't really featured you prominently as a

05:23singles guy yet so you want to go down there and just work for the nxt title for a little

05:27bit and we'll put you in like fatal four ways with uh with pack and all these really talented

05:31wrestlers and see what we get out of that and it ended up being a really entertaining run for for

05:36tyson kidd and i i've never talked to him about it but i would imagine it didn't hurt um and so i

05:43think something like that could be beneficial and just having having more spots for some of these guys

05:47to go i think is very fascinating now again it does mean maybe less spots for guys to go if say

05:54you've just been released from wwe well a couple of places that you used to be able to go was uh tna

05:59and triple a not so much anymore so there's good and bad with all of this selfishly i'm i'm very

06:10curious about it and the main one for me i like ultimately you just hope that this is good for the

06:16health of the wrestling industry both in um the states canada and mexico and just worldwide you

06:22hope that it is a good thing i want some of these things start showing up in video games all right

06:26we got uh abyss coming in now that's cool i want the impact zone in wwe 2k 26 i want to have the

06:35triple a i want to be able to wrestle with the rock and roman reigns and have horns going off the

06:42whole time i i want i i want that i and give me lucha underground that's another thing lucha

06:47underground when i sign on to netflix tonight to watch wrestlemania night two

06:53i want to see i want lucha underground back let me be able to have it legally um let me let me have

07:00this okay but put them in the video game let's let's have all these different like think of the

07:04my rise you could do with now it'd probably be annoyingly long but that you could do and you have

07:08to pop over to noah for a minute and now okay well now we're going to mexico and we're wrestling

07:13that guy and now we have to go down here and now we're in tna um i'm just that's the part of it that

07:19i would get the most immediate out of i i want this i want this stuff in the video game i want so

07:23all those celebrity spots for um in the video games that are for like nba guys and stuff like that

07:29just scratch that out we'll be fine if you want to throw halliburton in there cool uh but uh have it

07:34you know have have one of those spots go to um an arena that in mexico you know have it have it

07:41look like that that's all i want i want the impact zone is what i want from video games so uh

07:45selfishly that's what i take but very interesting news and a lot of different layers to kind of try

07:51to figure out with everything involved in this particular move but um uh apparently we're getting

07:57a world's collide show in in los angeles in june that that should be a lot of fun so i'm really

08:03fascinated by this news
