Vietnamese billionaire and property tycoon Truong My Lan has had her life sentence reduced to 30 years in a money laundering case involving US$17 billion. Truong has previously been sentenced to death for defrauding one of Vietnam's largest banks for over a decade—stealing US$12 billion as part of a bigger scheme.
