02:05Earlier, the Education Ministry announced the phased implementation of the Jalur Gemilang
02:11Badge on uniforms in all its educational institutions, effective on April 21.
02:17The initiative involved government schools, government-aided schools, matriculation colleges,
02:24and the Malaysian Teacher Education Institute to instill a deep sense of patriotism among
02:29both students and educators.
02:32Students who do not wear the badge will not face any punishment as the initiative is
02:36not meant to be punitive, but rather to cultivate a sense of love for the country.
