A recall campaign organizer in the southern city of Kaohsiung is being held incommunicado for allegedly forging signatures on petitions to oust ruling Democratic Progressive Party lawmakers. Prosecutors say he also colluded with other campaigners to destroy evidence.

00:19Prosecutors say he also colluded with other campaigners to destroy evidence.
00:24It comes amid widespread efforts to unseat politicians
00:26from both the DPP and the opposition Gomingdang.
00:30But several campaigns are now under investigation for alleged misconduct,
00:34including petitions containing the signatures of dead people.
