00:00all right we've gone over what i would do let's now dive into what i think they will do as we get
00:12into our wrestlemania 41 predictions here on couch potato diary as always presented by sea of dead
00:21so um night one for wrestlemania uh gunther against jay uso for the world heavyweight
00:28championship i i do think they go with jay here i think that he has been a big merch seller he gets
00:33the big crowd reactions it gives you a babyface champion uh which maybe leads you in a direction
00:37of where i think they're going to go with uh for the end of night two um i would imagine gunther
00:42gets drafted to smackdown give him a bit of a fresh start there and let jay uso kind of ride with this
00:46thing a little bit that that would be that would be my prediction for where i think they go in terms
00:53of being the um the the new world heavyweight champion um on to the world tag team titles as
01:01it is the war raiders taking on the new day i think new day win this one as well um i don't see them
01:07making this big heel turn and then eventually just having them lose to the war raiders i think that
01:12this is now to really kind of jumpstart this thing and really get them going in the into a bit more of
01:18focused on direction kind of post wrestlemania here so i do think this is going to be a fantastic
01:24match i think that this is going to be i think that this is going that this match is kind of
01:29going to be proof that maybe they should have focused on this a little bit more in the build
01:33up to wrestlemania because i think these two teams are going to put on a really good show here
01:36coming up on night one uh ray mysterio against el grande americano um i actually could see them
01:42extending the el grande americano feud a little bit further and dragging this out a little bit more
01:47um i do think that like the big unveiling and unmasking would be a good spot for this but
01:53i could see them kind of dragging it out a little bit further so i think el grande americano ends up
01:59getting the win here that is my prediction for that one jade carghill against naomi um i also think
02:05that we get a jade carghill victory here i'm i i have liked what they have done with naomi so far
02:12and the character that she has i thought the promo segment on on friday with um bianca
02:18wasn't her best work i guess but um i i do still like what she has done but this is jade's time they
02:25have something special with her and i think that this is going to be a big kind of a highlight
02:30moment for her now at wrestlemania the united states championship on the line with jacob fontu
02:35going up against la night this is one where i think me and wwe differ from the um what i would do
02:42portion of things i i have um jacob fontu winning i think here la night probably retains and i do
02:49think that jacob fontu gets cost in this match by solo sokoa and that starts their feud and they're
02:55kind of breaking off in in this match and just kind of starting that whole story going into a
03:01postmania world and keeping the belt on la night i do think that they still view him mainly more in
03:07that u.s title picture than graduating up to the world title feud at some point here tiffany stratton
03:13against charlotte flair for the wwe women's championship i do think that charlotte gets
03:18the win in this spot i think that she has been brought back to feel like a big deal and i do
03:24think that they have lost a lot of momentum with that and so i do think that this is going to be
03:29where they try to get this back on track here with charlotte flair and have her get that win
03:35and um once again the this this reign of charlotte flair will commence and for for tiffany stratton
03:43it'll be a well she can afford a loss right now and eventually try to to get it back but i like i
03:48said in the what i think they will do portion i do think that this is a very important spot for
03:55these two i think that they have a chance to kind of erase some of these sins of the past i guess
04:01with how off the rails this build got at times and i do think they kind of brought it back a little bit
04:06with the um some of the promo stuff that they did i thought on friday with the the charlotte flair
04:12sit down it felt a little bit too much like they were trying to make it real and it just it obviously
04:19wasn't like that they were trying to keep it kind of kayfabe so to speak and also try to make it seem
04:24like it was a real sit down thing and it just it felt like they didn't didn't really um go into
04:30either side well enough so i i think that there is going to be a few lessons to take from this but i
04:37think that a banger of a match does kind of erase a lot of things from people's memory for this and i
04:42do think eventually charlotte does get the win and at the end of night one roman reigns against cm punk
04:46against seth rollins in the fantasy booking aspect of it i laid out what i think they could do and what i
04:52think would be a whole lot of fun um i i do think that we get paul heyman turning on punk and and on
04:58reigns i am very worried um from about a brock lesnar return here i i just like the the whole it's
05:09wrestlemania season and all of a sudden we just out of nowhere get a video of the most private guy in
05:13the world happening to to be just spotted by someone it's like no i'm retired i i just again i i don't
05:20believe in coincidences all that much and so maybe i'm just over worrying a little bit but i am a
05:27little bit concerned that we get a a brock hayman sort of a thing but i i do think like a paul hayman
05:32seth rollins kind of a group would be a lot of fun and could set up a lot of potential different
05:37directions that they could go with that i do think that now we are here and now that um what we're
05:43coming up on on this match actually happening i am getting excited for it i i've just i haven't that
05:49that the build hasn't necessarily really struck me in the way that i thought it was going to um
05:55when we first really started to get the ball rolling on what this feud could have been night
06:01two is um again a few different ways that i think we can go on night two so let's dive right in
06:10eo sky uh against bianca belair against ria ripley for the women's world championship i do think that we
06:16get an eo sky win here i think that there will be a story that at some point ria and bianca were too
06:22focused on each other and eo comes away with the victory or we do get some kind of a jade or naomi
06:28involvement in this match and that kind of breaks that one off and we build that um in some way shape
06:33or form but i do think eo comes out of this as as still the champion i personally like what i
06:39suggested if you're going to take it off of them where we get like an oscar kairi sane return and
06:43that spins eo into a very prominent direction and it keeps um ria and bianca in this kind of like
06:49major feud that this really should be going post mania uh live morgan against raquel rodriguez and
06:56bailey um sorry live ro live morgan and raquel rodriguez against bailey and lira valkyria for the
07:03wwe women's tag team championships um i had laid out a scenario for in the nxt preview and i'm now
07:09recording this after and i don't believe that's going to happen now so i i do think that there is
07:14going to be some kind of like judgment day implodes and something like that but we'll get to the icy
07:19title match here in a couple of minutes i do think that live and raquel keeping the titles does kind of
07:25position things in a way where storyline sense i think you can make a lot of sense of it and like i
07:32said in the um things that i would do portion of this i do think that there is a value in live
07:39probably not being involved in the title picture for a little bit so let's just have her elevate the
07:43tag team division and have her just kind of have her own division right now uh aj styles against
07:48logan paul i do think logan paul probably gets a w in this spot he's been a big part of what this
07:53company pushes and hasn't won in a while on a big stage so i guess he probably gets a w here and
07:59aj gets a little bit more into that feud with karrion cross coming out of this one intercontinental
08:05title on the line um there have been a lot of people who have kind of been suggesting this
08:09i i do wonder if dom comes out of this with the intercontinental championship he's over at
08:15wrestlemania and i do think having him have a competitive match with penta on monday kind of
08:21tells you the direction they think this might be going with with ray sorry with dominic mysterio and
08:26so i i think that there could be a bit of a push coming here with dom and so i i do wonder again
08:32going back to that women's tag team title match if you have dom having the intercontinental title
08:36live and raquel having the tag team championships is if there's a little bit of okay finn what um
08:41what are you doing here what what's going on with that and we get a fracturing in the judgment day
08:46that way and then um coming out of this as well braun gets to move up that main event ladder a little
08:51bit and i do think they want to have a little bit more of a slower build with penta right now
08:56and i think you can build it up that way and just kind of ease him in a little bit more not that i
09:01think that they should but i do think that that is kind of the direction that they will go with that
09:06and then we get into the sin city street fight uh with damian priest against drew mcintyre i do think
09:12they probably give drew his his moment here and let him get a win they are very much behind priest
09:16right now but drew is the more main event project i think than damian priest is at this moment and so
09:23this feels like drew's time to come away with the big victory and now we get to the main event for
09:29the undisputed wwe championship it is cody rhodes against john cena i i don't know how cena doesn't
09:37win this match i do think the rock will actually be involved in this bout at some point and i do think
09:42that there is maybe a little bit of stone cold steve austin involvement i wonder if there's like a
09:46post-match beatdown and then stone cold comes out as the kind of send them home happy sort of a
09:52moment but i i do i do think a lot of this has been building towards john cena winning the wwe
09:59championship i i kind of laid out why i think that in the uh what i would do portion where i just feel
10:07like you are bordering and you saw a touch of it on smackdown you are bordering on overexposing cody
10:14as a baby face and um i don't think this is going to be rock hogan where the crowd completely turns
10:21both guys but i do think that there is i think a little bit more value in another chase for cody
10:27and just having him be a little bit away from the title picture for a little bit while still being
10:32that main baby face i think there is quite a bit that you can do with him with that i just think
10:36when you look at how the next year could play out there's a few more storytelling devices that you have
10:41with cody not being the champion compared to he just wins it again um so i think that is why my
10:47official prediction is that john cena is going to be the wwe undisputed champion when all of this
