The MrBeast Experience at Resorts World Las Vegas promised fans a $1,000 immersive adventure packed with games, exclusive merch, and a shot at $10,000. But what guests actually received sparked backlash across social media. Many were instructed to stay in their rooms for hours, some over a full day, only to receive underwhelming mystery bags containing Feastables chocolates and MrBeast merchandise in children's sizes. Frustrated attendees eventually met with Resorts World executives, and videos detailing their disappointment have gone viral on TikTok. MrBeast himself responded to the backlash, acknowledging the failed experience and offering affected fans a personal invite to tour his studio.

For Resorts World, the controversy adds to an already rocky year. The resort recently faced a $10.5 million fine over alleged money laundering violations, suffered guest service issues due to a failed check-in system upgrade, and reported a steep 23% revenue drop last quarter. While guests have since been promised full refunds, the debacle raises questions about whether this was simply a poorly executed collaboration—or a symptom of deeper issues at the resort.

00:00The Mr. Beast Experience promised games, prizes, and surprises, but what fans actually got is
00:05making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Back in January, Resorts World in Las Vegas
00:10announced the ultimate fan opportunity, the Mr. Beast Experience, a three-day, $1,000 event,
00:17promising exclusive merch, mystery drops, a chance to win a $10,000 gift voucher for one lucky fan,
00:23and immersive activations across the property. At that time, the resort said it was thrilled to
00:28partner with YouTube megastar Jimmy Donaldson, a.k.a. Mr. Beast, who's racked up 347 million
00:35subscribers and was recently named one of Forbes' top-earning creators, pulling in $54 million
00:40last year alone. In January, the Las Vegas Journal-Review reported, Ron Nicoli, Chief Marketing
00:47Officer of Resorts World Las Vegas, stated, We're thrilled to partner with Mr. Beast to bring a new
00:52immersive experience to the property. It's special and unexpected and delivers on our commitment to
00:58create unforgettable experiences. Now, reports state the event, which was held April 13th to the
01:0415th, was unforgettable for guests, who were left feeling scammed and confused, as they were told to
01:10stay in their rooms for a surprise, only to receive Feastables chocolates and Mr. Beast merch,
01:16mostly in kid sizes. By the final day of the experience, many attendees met with Resorts World
01:21executives, and videos of frustrated guests have since surfaced on TikTok. Mr. Beast has since
01:26responded to fans on X and stated, This definitely isn't the experience we'd hope they'd deliver.
01:31My team's already on it. I'd love to personally make it up to you and anyone else by inviting
01:36everyone affected to tour my actual studio. As for Resorts World, this isn't their first PR crisis.
01:43Reports state, The Las Vegas Resort is already dealing with a $10.5 million fine from the Nevada Gaming
01:50Control Board over alleged money laundering failures. And back in February, NBC News reported that Resorts
01:56World struggled with guest satisfaction after a failed check-in automation upgrade caused massive
02:02delays. And just last quarter, revenue dropped over 23%. Travel creator Random Recess, who documented
02:09his entire experience at the failed event, did give a final update and stated the guests will be
02:15receiving a full refund from the resort. So is this just a botch brand collab or another chapter in a resort
02:21that can't seem to catch a break? Let us know your thoughts below and follow us everywhere at What's Trending.
