00:00And how much do you think those messages out of the Trump administration, namely that they are, quote unquote, pathetic in Europe and that they're freeloaders, how much of that message has been taken on board in the major capitals around Europe?
00:14And do you think they're going to do something about it and perhaps take matters into their own hands a little bit more on the European continent?
00:21Oh, I definitely think so.
00:23I think in terms of the rhetoric, freeloaders and got to do more, you know, that's been the rhetoric for like 75 years.
00:31So this isn't something new.
00:33What was new was watching Zelensky humiliated in the Oval Office.
00:38What was new was the J.D. Vance speech at the Munich Security Conference.
00:43There has been enough new coming out of the White House, I think, that certainly has made even the most doubting European understand
00:52that it's time that Europe, you know, has to take on more in terms of defense, not because Putin, not because Trump is telling them to, not because it's the U.S. hectoring them.
01:04I think they are seeing in the actions of Putin an aggression that should scare the crap out of, if you excuse me, the language.
01:12It should really give pause to Europeans to understand that they are going to be left alone in Europe to handle an aggressive Russia.
01:19Russia, and they had better get as strong as they can as quickly as they can.
