00:00The work to give Russ Fulcher and Mike Simpson the boot and replace them with a brawling Democrat who will stand up for the working people of Idaho.
00:20If places like Tennessee and Kentucky and West Virginia could be blue and go to red, Idaho can go from red to blue.
00:30Beyond elections, our task is to build community, block associations, volunteer groups, church groups, PTAs, because community is the most powerful building block we have to defeat authoritarianism and root out corruption.
00:52So when they try to take our school boards and rip down the rainbow flags, we say no, protect our kids here.
01:01It's up to you.
01:04And on a larger level, this is the path to guaranteeing health care to every American, to establish a living minimum wage, to take on skyrocketing rents and mortgages, to tackle the climate crisis and establish a country where the American dream is actually possible for all of us.
01:29So I'll end where I began.
01:38We might all come from different places, but we share so many of the same experiences.
01:45And so to all those who come here today, unsure of whether or not this is where you belong, I want to say that you do.
01:55You do.
02:00No matter if you have all the right words to say, no matter your race, religion, gender identity or status.
02:09No matter even if you disagree with me on some things.
02:13We saw some Trump supporters were protesting outside.
02:16No, no.
02:18You don't know who language rules.
02:20No matter.
02:21You years on a parlament in time, you never ĐżĐŸŃлДЎ when you deal with fear.
02:25No matter who you want, you know.
02:26You never hired a gun in science, you never oneÙÙ
.
02:27You the mogÄ.
02:28You're a womanning.
02:29You've been called a decision.
02:30And so you never got this.
02:31You never had that.
02:32The only way we were created when you were moved.
02:33So you agreed to the right words today.
02:38So if you are willing to fight for someone you don't know, you are welcome here.
02:43If you are willing to fight for working people regardless of who they are, how they identify
02:48or where they come from, you are welcome here because here everyone is valued.
02:54But we have to stand together, Idaho.
03:00We cannot be tempted to turn in our neighbors or be fooled into thinking that we are really
03:07that much different than a trans kid who just wants to be accepted by the people around
03:13us.
03:15We can't be tricked into thinking that we are that much different than the dreamer who wants
03:21to come here and fulfill this country's promise.
03:25Because hate is a trap that sinks us all.
03:32And it is standing together without exception, just as you all are doing today.
03:37To reject division, that and this is the only way that we can win.
03:43So I hope that you see that this movement is not about partisan labels or purity tests, but
03:50it is about class solidarity.
03:52The thousands of you who came out here today to stand here together and say our lives deserve
04:00dignity and our work deserves respect, no matter who we are.
04:09So we are here to make a sacred promise to one another.
04:15Our goal here today is to commit to building the kind of country that we all deserve.
04:22And we will make that promise.
04:25To take care of each other on our worst days and to share in the successes of our best.
04:33And with that, I want to thank you, Idaho, for welcoming me here today.
04:39And now it is my honor to introduce to you the man who has brought us all together.
