00:00I just wanted to pick up on some of those interviews we've just seen, and one of them from Katy Perry.
00:06They seemed very emotional. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as everyone arrived back to Earth.
00:13What exactly would have they experienced up there?
00:16Going to space is truly extraordinary, even today, where we have all the technology in the world.
00:22So I'm not surprised that they are so touched.
00:25I mean, these are very big words they were using in terms of a life experience, et cetera.
00:32But also note that they're talking about what within astronauts we call for the overview effect.
00:38All astronauts talk about that when they're gone up, and they kind of look at this little fragile planet Earth where for some reason or another we keep fighting each other and there's all sorts of conflicts.
00:49But if you talk to a lot of astronauts having gone to space, they really zoom in on sort of let's protect the Earth, let's be more environmentally conscious, and above all, let's work together.
01:02And you see that even today at the International Space Station where you have Americans and Russians, and it's international, truly, where everybody is collaborating, even though on planet Earth we're kind of fighting each other to a degree.
01:13So that overview effect is really key and very telling about how it is in space, and I think we have a lot to learn.
