00:00Now, from a difficulty standpoint, we anticipate seeing three double-twisting Yuchenko Volts of 5.0 difficulty, and they will all come, we think, at the start, from Hang, Yu, and Olsen, respectively.
00:22The overall highest difficulty is, based on qualifying, Yu Lin Min.
00:30She had a 5.0 and a 5.2 difficulty volt in the preliminary round, and a 5.0 and a 4.2, Olsen likewise.
00:46Then we'll start, three, two, one, one!
00:53The top qualifier had about half a mark, close to half a mark.
00:58We're waiting for last season. That's it.
01:01We'll have this level again.
01:03We're destined for a good match, we'll be together.
01:06And while we're waiting for the other side, if it's placed for a good match,
01:10I love everything in Osijek, in this beautiful house.
01:14A great song for my sub-commentator,
01:17who will explain why Cune is doing well,
01:20and why not?
01:21Our legendary gymnast,
01:23who is successful,
01:25and from now, with a smile.
01:27She is one, and two winners.
01:29Ladies and gentlemen, Tina Erceg Beković!
01:35Thank you, Tina, for being with us.
01:37Welcome to Sijela,
01:39because the other side is ready to stand by.
01:41Now we have to figure out where we were and where we were not.
01:44Our children will do it with us.
01:46Welcome to Osijek.
01:48It is a great place to see
01:51how many people are doing in Sijanog i Vlasnici.
01:54We commented a little while the Dame came to us.
01:56What a difference!
01:58We can see everything in our big finale.
02:00Thank you!
02:02The whole world,
02:04in a big Osijek,
02:06in the women's final.
02:09I have to say that we can expect everything.
02:12Although we have some favorites and qualifications,
02:16but women are like that.
02:18Sometimes it will be safe,
02:20but in the final...
02:22So we are just moments away from the beginning of the women's vault final.
02:26So many very compelling stories here.
02:30The story of that young gymnast getting to the Olympic Games
02:34after a period of dreadful injury,
02:36becoming one of the finest vaulters in the world.
02:39We've got those who are so experienced at Olympic level.
02:44We've got those who are coming through the next generation.
02:47Very exciting prospect from the USA.
02:51We've got a gymnast who's decorated at continental level,
02:55but yet to compete at the World Championships.
02:58This is all set to be a really fascinating vault final.
03:05And added to that,
03:06we've got a veteran from the host nation thrown in too.
03:09But certainly it's clear,
03:12if she produces what she did in qualification,
03:15she is likely to be untouchable at the top of the leaderboard.
03:26And we all know that it's a little bit more complicated than that.
03:30I hope you're looking forward to this one.
03:45Great pleasure to have your company wherever you're watching from.
03:54The women's vault final at the Ossiette World Cup about to take place.
04:00I'm sure many of you know that there's a change in the code of points
04:11for the current cycle going through to Los Angeles,
04:14that if the gymnasts do vaults that flip in different directions,
04:18so one vault in one direction, one vault in the other,
04:21they will get a bonus of two tenths of a mark added to their average score.
04:26So that's quite an incentive.
04:29And we did see all of the top three gymnasts pick up that 0.2 bonus.
04:34Valentina Georgieva didn't.
04:36Tiana Conant did.
04:38Fenger to Yildiz didn't.
04:40And Kickinga and Belak both did.
04:42So most gymnasts did have that additional two tenths of a mark.
04:47And on the banks of the Drava River.
04:48The Ossiette World Cup.
04:50And the Ossiette World Cup.
04:53That's what we do here in Osiris and Croatia.
04:56We support all of them.
04:58And that's the reason why everybody likes to knock out
05:01one of these countries, some of the Olympics,
05:03and we have something to talk about each and every day.
05:07On the banks of the Drava River,
05:13the Osiris World Cup.
05:18And we are set to begin.
05:20This is the women's vault final.
05:26Jaila Hang of the United States of America,
05:29the champion of the World Cup in Antalya.
05:34The gymnast who will be attending the University of Florida
05:39as an undergraduate.
05:40What a great acquisition for them.
05:43And a gymnast with Junior World Championship honors.
05:48She also is the reigning all-around champion
05:51from the Pacific Rim Championships.
05:54All of this at 17.
05:55First vault from Jaila Hang of the USA.
06:09And she begins very nicely.
06:12Gosh, that is ever such smooth and secure vaulting.
06:16No wonder there's a calm nod of the head after that.
06:19Execution score is 9.066 in qualification.
06:26We expect this to be one of three double-twisting Yurchenko vaults.
06:48You and Olsen will also be undertaking them.
06:54We may have it from Valentina Djurgieva as well,
06:58but we didn't see it in qualification.
07:01So it could be four double-twisting Yurchenko vaults.
07:0414.033, that's almost identical compared to qualification.
07:14She's literally a few hundredths down, and that's all.
07:25Very nice first vault, that from Hang.
07:27The second vault of Jaila Hang.
07:39Yes, lovely, that's the Podkapayeva.
07:44And all of that making her very clearly a medal contender
07:49right at the start.
07:50Just the clarity of her vaulting that's so nice to watch.
08:10She seems to have time.
08:11She seems to have time.
08:20Good toe point as well, heels together.
08:27It's the round-off half on, front pike half off that is
08:30so associated with its originator, the great Lilija Podkapayeva.
08:3513 for the second vault, and that's way up from qualification.
08:5313.716 is the average score.
08:58She does pick up the 0.2 bonus, as we expected as well,
09:01for the variation of the flipping directions.
09:08So for Hang, overall, a jump of over a tenth.
09:12We go to Yu Lin Min of the People's Republic of China.
09:18Top performer in qualification.
09:21Team gold medallist and vault bronze medallist
09:23at the Asian Games, her home games,
09:25in Hangzhou in 2023.
09:28She's been the Asian champion on vault.
09:30She won that title in Ulaanbaatar in Malaysia,
09:33Mongolia, I should say, in 2019.
09:40And there is another double-twisting Yachenko vault.
09:51Apologies there to all Mongolians for moving there.
09:54Capital city considerably more southern in Asia.
09:57Well-performed.
10:04Didn't have the same crispness of execution as Hang in qualification.
10:08There was a slight difference in the execution score.
10:11She takes quite a big backstep as she lands.
10:13So it wouldn't be a surprise if this is, again,
10:16a little lower than the gymnasts from the USA.
10:19It might be, again, that Hang has got slightly more controlled form in flight, too.
10:28But it is still going to be a very compelling number.
10:32And she will know that.
10:3314.033.
10:45Actually, it's exactly the same as Jay Lahang's score.
10:50Also, this time they don't have that minute separation.
10:57But based on qualifying, we expect there to be a real difficulty advantage here for you with the second vault.
11:05Can she get the execution higher?
11:07Well, that is going to be very interesting.
11:13She's quite low as she lands it.
11:20But it is extremely impressive vaulting from Yulin Min.
11:24She competed the double-twisting Yuschenko vault from 2017 through to about 2020, I think.
11:35It's good to see that has really come back into her arsenal.
11:41The double-twisting Tsukihara vault.
11:45The second vault.
11:48The Zamelochikova vault, I believe.
11:54Difficulty-wise, there's no doubt about who's got the numbers to fly into the lead.
12:11Great to see that performance from Yulin Min.
12:24So, 14.066, she's actually better than qualification.
12:3314.1 for that 5.2 degree of difficulty second vault.
12:38The double-twisting Tsukihara.
12:40To the great Canadian vaulter, Shallon Olsen.
12:55She'll turn 25 in the summer.
13:00The gymnast from British Columbia and the lovely city of Vancouver.
13:05Three times a finalist on vault at the Olympiad.
13:09It's an extraordinary accomplishment.
13:10She's been a Commonwealth Games champion as well.
13:13And has been on the world podium more than once.
13:17Olsen also performing the double-twisting Yuchenka.
13:32So, we've had the same opening vault from each of the first three gymnasts.
13:39All of them the top three qualifiers.
13:40Very much as we expected things to be.
13:43The next gymnast, that's going to be more interesting to scrutinise.
13:47And I'll explain why in a moment.
14:02These are absolutely tried and tested vaults for these sorts of gymnasts.
14:08There won't be a great deal between the execution scores
14:33for those three double-twisting Yuchenkos.
14:3713.966.
14:39Exactly the same as qualification.
14:42So, Olsen just slightly lower in execution than the first two.
14:46But by not quite a tenth of a mark.
15:03Vault number two for Shallon Olsen.
15:12So, 13.566 in qualification.
15:19Hang was 13.599.
15:22But Hang has improved to a 13.716.
15:27And there is quite a chasing pack
15:28that will be trying to surpass
15:31particularly Shallon Olsen.
15:36Jayla Hang's score might be
15:37pretty tricky for the rest of the field to get beyond.
15:40So, this is a round-off half on front layout half off.
15:55There will doubtless be greater complexity to come from Shallon Olsen.
15:59We know that from what she's done
16:01at the very biggest of competitions.
16:04But that was the vault she was indicating,
16:12the 4.2 difficulty.
16:15So, no suggestion that the Chung vault
16:16would be employed this time.
16:20Step by step, back to
16:21preparation for the next Olympiad.
16:26It might be execution-wise
16:28a little lower
16:30than some of the vaults we've seen so far
16:32just from a form perspective.
16:34The execution was 8.566 in qualifying.
16:51Well, isn't it wonderful
16:53to have a field like this
16:55at the World Cup in Osijek
16:57as the World Challenge Cup
16:59has been upgraded to World Cup status?
17:0413.566 is exactly the same as qualification.
17:18A 12.766 for the second vault too.
17:21And, indeed, execution-wise
17:238.566.
17:24That is the lowest scoring vault
17:25we've seen so far.
17:27So, Olsen's in third place.
17:29Hang is second.
17:29And you
17:30is in the lead.
17:32Now, this is going to be interesting
17:34because
17:35the indication given
17:38by Valentina Giorgieva
17:40of Bulgaria
17:41is that she's going to attempt
17:43a double-twisting Yuchenko vault.
17:47In qualification,
17:49she was credited with
17:50a 4.6 difficulty
17:52for the opening vault,
17:53which would indicate
17:53a Yuchenko one and a half.
18:00If she does
18:02perform and execute
18:03a double-twisting Yuchenko,
18:04then that would really
18:05alter things.
18:07Oh, my goodness!
18:09Me, does she get time in the air!
18:10What a story!
18:17The comeback of this
18:18determined gymnast
18:19who made it to
18:20fifth place
18:21at the Olympic Games
18:23after such an appalling injury
18:25at the 2022
18:26European Championships.
18:30That, genuinely,
18:32is a vault
18:33where you wonder
18:34if she might bang her head
18:35on the ceiling.
18:36That's incredible.
18:40That's not
18:43a double-twisting Yuchenko.
18:44That's a double-twisting Yuchenko
18:45where you can stop
18:46for a tee break
18:47in the middle of it
18:47and still land.
18:56Golly!
19:00Now,
19:01the entire complexion
19:02of the final
19:03has changed
19:04because we've got
19:05a gymnast
19:05with a fourth
19:07double-twisting Yuchenko.
19:09We didn't have
19:09that in qualifying.
19:10Look at the execution!
19:129.333
19:13of 14.333.
19:17She is up
19:17by eight-tenths
19:18of a mark
19:19compared to
19:19the preliminary round.
19:24And now
19:25is in a position
19:26to push right up
19:28into that top three
19:30and maybe to nestle
19:31in behind you.
19:34Lovely!
19:35Very nice!
19:36lay out
19:38Sukihara
19:39with one-and-a-half
19:40twists
19:40and a moment
19:44of relief
19:45from this
19:46absolutely remarkable
19:49young lady.
19:50She's just
19:51done so much
19:54on her return
19:55from injury.
19:55That is
20:06very good
20:07gymnastics.
20:08Her landings
20:09are impressive.
20:10Her body position
20:11is straight.
20:12I think
20:18the second
20:19and third
20:20place
20:20gymnasts
20:20are quite
20:21vulnerable
20:22here.
20:34Valentina
20:34Golgyeva
20:35was
20:35fifth
20:37in
20:37qualification.
20:50She's added
20:54four-tenths
20:56of
20:56difficulty.
20:57could she
21:02even get
21:03close to
21:03the lead?
21:04Could she
21:04really get
21:05around that
21:0714 mark?
21:10That's
21:10how things
21:11currently are.
21:18Those two
21:19vaults have
21:19absolutely
21:20set the cat
21:20among the
21:21pigeons.
21:24Her first
21:25international
21:26goal, by the way,
21:26was in
21:27Osijek in
21:272022.
21:31She's gone
21:31into the lead.
21:32She's done
21:33it.
21:3414.149.
21:38A 13.966
21:41for
21:42vault number
21:44two.
21:44There was
21:45an inquiry
21:46submitted
21:46for
21:47and there
21:48was no
21:49line
21:49deduction,
21:50so the
21:50score has
21:50changed.
21:51The final
21:52score is
21:5313.766.
21:55So I'll
21:55repeat,
21:56there's
21:56no line
21:56deduction.
21:57The score
21:57has changed
21:58and the
21:58final score
21:59is 13.766.
22:00Now we're
22:01just hearing
22:01that J.
22:02Lehang's
22:03score has
22:03changed to
22:0413.766
22:07from 13.716
22:10and that
22:11and that
22:11appears to
22:12due to a
22:14successful
22:15inquiry
22:16possibly relating
22:21to out-of-bounds
22:22deductions,
22:23but we'll come
22:24back to that
22:24if we can.
22:26It doesn't
22:26change the
22:27leaderboard,
22:27it just
22:28gives
22:28a little
22:29more cushion
22:29in
22:31third place.
22:33but Valentina
22:38Georgieva
22:39has gone
22:40so strongly
22:42into the
22:43lead.
22:47That was
22:48magnificent
22:49from her.
22:49When you
22:50consider that
22:50she actually
22:51had a
22:53four-tenths
22:54of a mark
22:55disadvantage
22:56by comparison
22:58to Yu Lin Min
22:59when it
23:01comes to
23:01the difficulty.
23:02So it
23:03really was
23:03down to
23:03beautiful
23:04execution.
23:11Now we
23:12have four
23:13to go
23:14including the
23:15fourth best
23:15in qualification
23:16that's
23:16Taya Belak
23:17and she
23:17will finish
23:18this final.
23:20It's going
23:20to be very
23:21difficult for
23:22anyone to
23:22push into
23:22the top
23:23three.
23:23It's a
23:23high-scoring
23:24World Cup
23:25vault final
23:26this.
23:30But they'll
23:30give it a
23:30good go
23:31the remaining
23:32gymnasts.
23:34Congratulations
23:35to all of
23:35them for
23:36making this
23:36final.
23:37It's a
23:37good quality
23:38final.
23:41So it's
23:41a great
23:41accomplishment
23:42to be
23:42here.
23:55a great
23:56victory.
23:57Well, I
24:06really hope
24:06you're
24:06enjoying
24:07all of
24:07the
24:07action
24:07from
24:08Osijek.
24:10Oli Hogben
24:11here and
24:11it's a
24:11pleasure
24:12to have
24:12your
24:12company.
24:13It's a
24:13pleasure
24:14more than
24:15anything
24:16else
24:16to
24:16witness
24:18this
24:18great
24:18veteran
24:19competing
24:20in her
24:21home
24:21World Cup.
24:22Isn't it
24:22special to
24:23see Tiana
24:23Koren here
24:24in front
24:24of her
24:25fans?
24:31Wonder if
24:31she's aware
24:32of them.
24:32Wonder if
24:33she hears
24:34the noise
24:34or if
24:35she's
24:35completely
24:36in the
24:38zone now
24:38and focused
24:39solely on
24:40the table.
24:41Every athlete's
24:41a bit
24:41different.
24:43Certainly
24:43no doubt
24:44what they're
24:44focused on.
24:45Nervous
24:46moments as
24:46Koren begins.
24:47And
24:49she
24:49starts
24:50with a
24:50handspring
24:51front
24:52pike
24:52with a
24:52half
24:53turn
24:53of
24:53the
24:53body.
24:5836
24:58later
25:00this
25:00month.
25:12Should
25:12be
25:13awarded
25:13a
25:144.0
25:14difficulty.
25:16Form
25:16deteriorates
25:16a little
25:17doesn't
25:17it
25:17as she
25:18comes
25:19off
25:19the
25:19table.
25:23Leg
25:23separation
25:24there
25:24as the
25:25half
25:25turn
25:26of
25:26the
25:26body
25:26begins.
25:34In
25:352007
25:36she
25:36missed
25:37two
25:37years
25:37of
25:37her
25:38career
25:38at
25:38what
25:38was
25:38considered
25:39to
25:39be
25:39her
25:39peak.
25:40It's
25:41almost
25:41risible
25:42now
25:42isn't
25:42it
25:43to
25:43think
25:43of
25:43it
25:43as
25:43her
25:43peak.
25:44But
25:44she
25:44was
25:44told
25:44that
25:44at
25:45the
25:45time
25:45with
25:45the
25:45best
25:45of
25:46intentions
25:46it
25:46was
25:46a
25:47peak
25:47period
25:47for
25:47her.
25:48She
25:48had
25:48an
25:48ankle
25:49injury
25:49as
25:49the
25:49score
25:49of
25:5012.666
25:51comes in.
25:54And
25:54she said
25:55it recently
25:55in an
25:55interview
25:56it was
25:56considered
25:56to be
25:57when she
25:57was going
25:57to be
25:58in her
25:59best
25:59years
25:59and she
26:00missed
26:00them.
26:00And look
26:01at this
26:01her best
26:01years
26:02have come
26:02in her
26:0230s.
26:03Best
26:03results
26:04internationally
26:04have come
26:05in her
26:0530s.
26:08She's
26:09absolutely
26:10a
26:11mythology
26:11busting
26:12gymnast.
26:12And that's
26:15very nicely
26:16performed.
26:19Does have
26:19a few
26:19form issues
26:20here and
26:21there but
26:21the landing
26:22was tidy.
26:24Tiana
26:25Corrent.
26:29If you're
26:30an animal lover
26:31by the way
26:31I think it's
26:32important you
26:33know that
26:33Tiana Corrent
26:34gets up at
26:346.30 every
26:35morning to
26:36feed not just
26:36her own
26:37cats but the
26:38kittens that she
26:38fosters from
26:40a cat
26:41shelter.
26:42She is
26:42extremely
26:43committed to
26:44animal
26:44rehabilitation
26:44and she
26:47is absolutely
26:48hands-on
26:48about it.
26:52She's
26:53somebody
26:53who's got
26:54a real
26:54love in
26:55the
26:55successful
26:56rehoming
26:56of animals
26:58that would
26:59otherwise
26:59have no
26:59future.
27:00she also
27:08works as
27:09an
27:09accountant
27:09as well
27:10manages to
27:10fit in
27:11a successful
27:12career
27:12around her
27:15training and
27:16around her
27:16rehabilitative
27:17work with
27:18animals.
27:20Fabulous
27:21individual
27:21isn't she?
27:24Really
27:25deserves our
27:25respect.
27:26so the
27:29full
27:29twisting
27:30Yuschenko
27:30scores a
27:3113.1
27:33for a
27:3413.083
27:37and that
27:37puts her
27:38pretty much
27:41where she
27:41was in
27:41qualification.
27:43She's in
27:43fifth place
27:44to Bengisu
27:47Yildiz
27:47of
27:48Turkey.
27:52Jim
27:53Nastu
27:53has won
27:54two gold
27:55medals at
27:55the
27:55Islamic
27:55Solidarity
27:56Games
27:57in her
27:58home
27:58country
27:58as well.
27:59Brilliant
27:59moment in
28:00her career.
28:00She was
28:01the eighth
28:01best in
28:01qualification.
28:05She also
28:05employs the
28:06full twisting
28:07Yuschenko
28:08vault just
28:08as we
28:09saw from
28:10Tiana
28:11Corinth on
28:11her second
28:12vault.
28:16She won
28:17the silver
28:18medal on
28:19vault at
28:19the national
28:20championships
28:20in September
28:21of last
28:21year but
28:22she was
28:22the all
28:22around
28:22champion
28:23again
28:23defending
28:24her
28:25title.
28:25from the
28:26previous
28:26edition.
28:27She has
28:27been the
28:27national
28:28champion
28:28on vault.
28:30It's quite
28:31tidy.
28:32Maybe there's
28:33room for a
28:33little more
28:34straightness of
28:34the body.
28:37Just try and
28:38push that
28:39execution score
28:40up into the
28:40nines.
28:44The landing
28:45is very
28:46centralised.
28:47There's a lot
28:47to enjoy
28:47to enjoy
28:48about it.
28:4813.133, so
28:56she has made
29:11a small
29:11execution gain
29:12run from the
29:13preliminary
29:13round.
29:15Less than
29:15one-tenth
29:16up.
29:20Let's have
29:20a look at
29:21the second
29:21vault from
29:22the 18-year-old
29:23Bengis Yildiz of
29:25Turquie.
29:30Oh, she just
29:31wasn't quite
29:32there on that
29:33one, so
29:33regrettably that
29:34will be a
29:36drop from the
29:37preliminary
29:37round.
29:38first vault
29:42was very
29:42nice,
29:43though.
29:57Just
29:58doesn't seem
29:59to get the
30:00truest
30:01beginning to
30:02the vault.
30:02The hand
30:03placement on
30:03the table
30:04was not
30:07optimum.
30:10Almost
30:10seems that
30:12she's rather
30:12stretching the
30:13body just to
30:14actually make
30:14a clean
30:15connection on
30:16the table.
30:21As a result,
30:23there's little
30:23chance to
30:24generate power.
30:28It's verging
30:29on being
30:29tucked as
30:30well, isn't
30:30it?
30:31So it'll
30:31be interesting
30:31to look at
30:32the difficulty
30:32score.
30:37the
30:50final
30:51at the
30:53World Cup
30:53in Baku,
30:58her first
30:59competition of
31:00the year.
31:00she has
31:07already got
31:08four
31:08World Cup
31:10medals.
31:10So 11.633
31:26for 12.383.
31:32Difficulty
31:32score was
31:33given as
31:334.4.
31:34Zeline
31:37Kickinger of
31:38Austria.
31:41The 23-year-old
31:42from the
31:42lovely city
31:43of Innsbruck.
31:45Very much
31:45associated with
31:46the Olympic
31:47movement.
31:49And well
31:49done to her
31:50on finishing
31:5018th in the
31:51all-around
31:51competition at
31:52the last
31:52European
31:52Championships
31:53in Rimini.
31:55Seventh best
31:55in qualifying
31:56here.
31:56We expect a
31:58full twisting
31:58Yuchenko
31:59as her
32:00opening vault.
32:01bit of
32:05backwards
32:05movement
32:06as she
32:06lands.
32:13Gymnastus
32:14becomes such
32:14an important
32:15part of the
32:15Austrian team
32:16and she was
32:17there when
32:17that 11th
32:19place finish
32:19happened at
32:20the European
32:20Championships
32:21in Munich
32:22that was
32:23for her
32:23at that
32:23stage
32:24the proudest
32:24moment of
32:25her career.
32:31It was
32:31exactly as
32:32we expected
32:33the
32:33Yuchenko
32:34vault with
32:34a full
32:35twist.
32:36I'm sure
32:36many of
32:37you know
32:37but it's
32:38worth
32:38restating
32:39that each
32:41additional
32:42half twist
32:44carries with
32:45it four
32:46extra
32:46tenths of
32:47difficulty
32:47so the
32:484.2
32:49is the
32:50full
32:51twisting
32:51Yuchenko
32:52difficulty
32:53score
32:53and then
32:53you go
32:53to 4.6
32:54for the
32:55Yuchenko
32:55one and a
32:56half
32:56and then
32:565.0
32:57for the
32:57double
32:57twisting
32:58Yuchenko
32:58so we've
32:59had four
33:00gymnasts
33:00get that
33:015.0
33:02difficulty
33:02score
33:0313.1
33:10that is
33:10better than
33:11qualification
33:11by
33:12getting on
33:14for a
33:14couple
33:14of
33:15tenths
33:28two
33:32points
33:34for the
33:36first
33:37fault
33:37number
33:37two
33:38yes
33:39that
33:39was
33:39nicely
33:39performed
33:40wasn't
33:40it
33:40the

33:45and a
33:48strong
33:48offering
33:48from
33:49Zelina
33:49Kikkinger
33:49We have just one to go now, and it will be the experienced Slovenian Teja Belak.
34:17It's a nicely established pike position.
34:19It looks like a vault that she's very comfortable performing.
34:24The hand placement on the table presented little issue.
34:34Nicely extended legs in the pike position, giving a sense of clarity to the shape of the vault.
34:43Difficulty 4.0.
34:45It will be the joint lowest difficulty score that we've seen in the final.
34:49But it was nicely delivered.
34:5212.933 for a 13.216.
34:55So she's gained close to two tenths from qualifying.
34:58We will finish with Teja Belak.
35:01The eighth finalist representing Slovenia, Teja Belak.
35:05The fourth best in qualifying, 13.516.
35:1213.766 is needed to take bronze.
35:14So she has got room to develop the execution.
35:21And regrettably for Teja Belak, that now seems a distant possibility after sitting down the opening vault.
35:29And regrettably for Teja Belak, that now seems a distant possibility after sitting down the opening vault.
35:36And regrettably for Teja Belak, that now seems a distant possibility after sitting down the opening vault.
35:44Let's bring the front layout full.
35:46Let's bring the front layout full.
35:47Let's bring the front layout full.
35:51Let's bring the front layout full.
36:12Let's bring the front layout full.
36:31European Games champion on vault, a gymnast who's had two comebacks after maternity leave.
36:4211.866.
36:49So that is a drop of about a mark and a third from the preliminary round, regrettably.
37:00That's lovely, what a nice second vault from Ter Belak.
37:05Just reflect upon that first vault as we see that really well performed at Yuchenko 1.5.
37:15The first vault has an unsighted landing, so it is very difficult to judge the angle of attack.
37:30And a very secure 1.5 twisting Yuchenko vault.
37:42We will see how the situation looks like.
37:52We will be sure that the situation looks like the situation should be safe.
37:58And we will see how the situation looks like.
38:0212.766 the average so seventh place for Ter Balica 13.666 for vault number two better than
38:19qualification and all of that means that the fifth best in qualification has won the gold medal
38:28and this in the setting of her first international title
38:35it was in 2022 that Valentina Georgieva won the Osijek World Challenge Cup as it then was
38:46gold medal and think about what happened after that she went to the European Championships
38:53and endured an appalling injury a fractured thigh a torn knee ligament she spent 18 months out
39:01she returned and my goodness did she return it's sometimes a cliche to say people are back and
39:08better than ever but there's no doubt that that is the case with Georgieva
39:12that is the extraordinary amplitude that carried her and they floated her to the title
