00:00The like of which he started on Sunday in Assen, here he, you're okay.
00:04And from that point position, just seeing that Sam Lowe's one of the riders out there with the harder front tyre,
00:08and Topper Cros pretty obviously doing the same.
00:10Interestingly for Lowe's, considering we've got an old Ducati front row of the grid,
00:13Petrucci on the second row of the grid, also on the Ducati,
00:16they've all gone for the softer front tyre.
00:18A lot of that comes down to the support that the tyre gives you,
00:21particularly around a track like Assen, it's easy to generate a bit of chatter around here,
00:25so maybe for Lowe's, just trying to have that extra support.
00:27We heard from his crew chief, Gorka, on the grid, that they were going to go with the tyre that felt good for Sam.
00:31That's the decision you have to make.
00:33You have to go with what the rider wants and what gives them that confidence.
00:36And from that front row of the grid, from pole position, he's going to be very confident.
00:39And while you're talking about tyres, softer allocation this weekend compared to either of the opening two rounds,
00:44and new development tyre as well, popular with the riders.
00:47Yeah, the development tyre is exceptionally popular with the riders.
00:50It's only Gareth Gerloff that isn't using it.
00:53Gareth's on that sixth row of the grid.
00:54So the rear tyre, it's a small change, but it's one that everyone has said has given them a little bit more confidence,
01:00a little bit more longevity, and that's the key.
01:03Three different winners in three races here last season.
01:06Of course, we had mixed weather, but Alvaro Bautista, back in the winner's circle,
01:10was the championship leader in Assen at that time, the third round of the season.
01:14From their top rack, Raz Gatlioglu, dominated the rest of the campaign.
01:17This has got to be an opportunity for Bautista to strike back.
01:20Yeah, exactly.
01:21And for Alvaro Bautista, from the outside the front row of the grid, on the number 19, Gatlioglu,
01:25he has to beat his teammate, because for Bautista, he's 52 points behind Boulica.
01:30And if he's to be considered a genuine championship challenger, we finish this weekend, a quarter of the season is done.
01:37You're already setting the scene for what's going to happen for the rest of the season.
01:40He needs to show that he is still that rider that can win a world championship for Gicari.
01:44Reminder of the championship standings after two completed rounds of 12.
01:48It's Niccolo Boulica leading top rack Raz Gatlioglu by 29 points.
01:51Danilo Petrucci at the moment, one ahead of Bautista, two retirements, of course, for Alvaro.
01:56Andrea Locatelli's consistency leaves him fifth overall.
02:00Yannone and Reading dropping back to sixth and seventh, with disappointing rounds last time out.
02:04And they've got to try and recover through the field here.
02:06Yannone starting in P10, Reading all the way down in 16th place.
02:10It's an all-Ducati front row of the grid.
02:13Penalty for top rack Raz Gatlioglu sees him start here from sixth position.
02:16It's race one of the 2025 Pirelli Dutch round underway.
02:25Good start from Niccolo Boulica from the middle of the front row.
02:28Flying starter as well from the second row.
02:29The grid from Andrea Locatelli will get amongst the Ducatis into the first turn.
02:33Petrucci's coming from a distance back as well.
02:35Bautista circumspects on the way towards turn one.
02:37He then cuts back to the inside line and makes back a couple of early lost positions.
02:41Sam Lowe's down to fourth place then, going side by side around the outside of Alvaro Bautista
02:46through the northern loop has done well to hang on in there.
02:48They'll come into the slow left-hander of turn five.
02:51And it's Andrea Locatelli who cuts his way through from the second row of the grid.
02:55He will lead Niccolo Boulica.
02:57And now onto the high-speed sprint towards the Vengstang.
03:01280 kilometers an hour through here as Boulica tries to recover and does so.
03:05Boulica hits the front then from Locatelli in second.
03:07Sam Lowe's relegated to third.
03:09Alvaro Bautista fourth.
03:10Then it's Petrucci.
03:11And for now, top-rack Razz Gattioglu has not been able to make too much progress.
03:15In fact, he's lost positions.
03:17He's now down to eighth place.
03:18Yeah, there's no better rider off the line than Locatelli.
03:21And that Yamaha, again, able to make a great start and pick up some spots.
03:24This is on board with Razz Gattioglu heading down behind the two Pomoda riders.
03:28Alex Lowe's gotten ahead of his teammate.
03:29This is Axel Bassani that top-rack's able to cut through on.
03:32And that's...
03:32Whoa!
03:33Bassani does well.
03:34Now, Axel Bassani comes back across the path of Razz Gattioglu to defend that seventh position,
03:40giving it everything.
03:41Of course, both of the riders there penalized after the Super Bowl session
03:45for slow riding on the line in front of Niccolò Boulica.
03:49And both trying to make progress back to where they started, effectively,
03:52after that Super Bowl session.
03:53So it's Boulica who leads us as Razz Gattioglu has another go now down the inside this time
03:58over Axel Bassani and gets it done in front of the Gintima stand at the end of lap number one.
04:03So it's Boulica leads.
04:04He's half a second already clear of Andrea Locatelli.
04:08Then it's Sam Lowe's.
04:09Alvaro Bautista losing out to the low Petrucci,
04:12trying to get back to the inside to recover that fourth place.
04:15And does so across the curve.
04:17Spectacularly from Alvaro Bautista.
04:18Looks like maybe just a little bit of a bobble there for Bautista coming out of the chicane
04:22and maybe just costing that bit of momentum and left him vulnerable there for Petrucci.
04:26Through turn five they come and overtaking hot spot.
04:28Petrucci half the way alongside Bautista.
04:31But through here Bautista's particularly strong.
04:34The exit through the main slam we saw a couple of years ago.
04:36He made plenty of passes when he needed to through there.
04:39And Bautista sprints away from Petrucci.
04:41Razz Gattioglu now has got in front of the two Bermotors.
04:43Lowe's and Bassani both in his way.
04:46But Petrucci is aggressive on Bautista.
04:48Moves him out of the way.
04:49That will open the door now to Razz Gattioglu to carry his momentum.
04:53Through Steckenwaal and through towards turn number nine.
04:56But Bautista defends that line as the two Bermotors scrap it out behind him for seven.
05:01Top rack can see Boudicca getting smaller and smaller.
05:03The reason for that is he's just able to stretch out that little bit of a lead from Locatelli and Lowe's.
05:08So for Top rack he needs to attack straight away on Albro Bautista.
05:11Give himself a chance of being up in those podium positions.
05:13Gap from Boudicca to Locatelli.
05:15Downs eight tenths of a second between the top two.
05:17Sam Lowe's is sticking with Locatelli in the race for the podium places.
05:21Petrucci having popped through on Bautista.
05:23Has got eight tenths of a second now the gap to the top independence and those podium places.
05:28So Bautista too will want to get a move on here.
05:31But Razz Gattioglu is going to be the latest rider to capture Bautista as a prisoner.
05:35And that means Top rack is now up into fifth place.
05:37Yeah and for Top rack he's got Petrucci in front of him.
05:40Combative Petrucci always difficult to overtake.
05:42We'll see what Top rack can do on that.
05:44As Vandermark comes down the inside of Axel Bassani.
05:46Really good recovery here from Vandermark in the number 60 machine.
05:49He had limited running during pre-practice.
05:51Only two riders did less laps than him yesterday.
05:53And for Vandermark he's now able to start his recovery right.
05:56Just to stay off the line as well.
05:58Taz McKenzie from the fifth row of the grid.
06:00Jumped off the line.
06:01Stopped.
06:01And that's why he's lost all of his ground.
06:03Slowest corner on the circuit.
06:0460 kilometres an hour.
06:05Top rack Razz Gattioglu gets alongside Danilo Petrucci.
06:08And he's through for fourth place.
06:10Bautista now in the run towards the vein slang.
06:12Has an opportunity.
06:13But Petrucci knows it's coming and he covers that line.
06:16There's three riders really in a dogfight here for fourth and fifth positions.
06:19Yeah, good move from top rack into five.
06:21And you can see for Petrucci now, is he vulnerable to Bautista as well?
06:24We know how good Petrucci is on the brakes down into the chicane.
06:28And for Bautista he'll have to find somewhere to come through.
06:31Yeah, it looked like he got a little bit caught up with Petrucci almost there through Stegenwall on lap number three.
06:37So for the moment at least, Bautista appears to be faster than Petrucci.
06:40That's good news for Bautista.
06:42Starting to find some rhythm after he was rather bullied on those opening couple of laps.
06:46Yeah, we've seen it at different times in the past.
06:48Obviously Albro and those early laps can be vulnerable.
06:50But he's in a position now where he can at least get his head down and try and give himself a chance of still being on the podium.
06:55But we'll see if it can come through on Petrucci.
06:57Yeah, Petrucci we know is good defensively.
07:00He's already been passed by Razzgattioglu.
07:02Will Bautista be close enough to strike coming into the final three turns?
07:06No, not quite.
07:07Not at the end of lap number three.
07:09But Bulliger who leads from Locatelli.
07:11That gap is now up at 1.7 seconds.
07:13This is Bulliger's race to lose.
07:15Sam Lowe's another four tenths back.
07:16Half a second to Razzgattioglu with his new personal best.
07:19But it was still slower than Niccolò Bulliger's lap three at it.
07:22Yeah, for Toprak.
07:23Let's see what his time is going to be on this lap as well.
07:25You can see he's immediately jumped that gap to Lowe's.
07:28If he comes through on Sam, Sam has to go with him as well.
07:31Try and give yourself the chance to attack on Locatelli.
07:34Danilo Petrucci was aggressive on Alvaro Bautista to come through on him.
07:38Bautista won't spare any prisoners if he gets half an opportunity.
07:41It'll be through acceleration, down the main slang and towards turn six that Bautista will try and have a go at Petrucci.
07:47This is one of his fastest areas on the circuit, but it's difficult to go side by side through there.
07:52And again, Petrucci covers the inside line well in this race for fifth position.
07:56Bautista with a slightly wider line.
07:57That will now give him the inside on the switch and the change of direction into Steppenwolf.
08:02And lap number four, Bautista is finally released from the clutches of Danilo Petrucci.
08:06Yeah, the momentum in six and seven is always good for Alvaro Bautista.
08:09And he's able to keep himself on that inside line into the right-hander.
08:12And that's what sets up that move on Petrucci.
08:14And for him, he needs to make sure he's able to stay in front of Petrucci.
08:17He's opened up a few bike lanes.
08:18He's a little bit wide through this section.
08:20We'll see if Petrucci is able to have a little bit more momentum.
08:23This is damage limitation at this stage for top rack Razgaf-Dioglu.
08:26He will expect to have the pace advantage over Sam Lowe's and Andrea Locatelli.
08:30But equally, the deeper into this race we get, the stronger and more confident Alvaro Bautista will feel he is.
08:35As Razgaf-Dioglu eyes up a move now on Sam Lowe's.
08:39This is for a provisional podium place.
08:40Yeah, and you can see there again into the chicane.
08:42Top rack is not as strong as he usually is on the brakes.
08:45Maybe just the feeling he had with the bike yesterday.
08:47Still carrying over a little bit when he wasn't as confident on the BMW as he'd like.
08:51And we can see that as we ride on board.
08:53The Ducati for Lowe's able to brake on that limit as well.
08:55So for Razgaf-Dioglu, they're not easy moves to make today.
08:58Turn five might be the next opportunity for Top Rack.
09:01If Sam Lowe's leaves the door half ajar, we saw Petrucci was very smart to cover that line.
09:05But if you do so on the inside, there is an alternative racing line slightly wider that can build your speed up then through the bench line.
09:12Just for Top Rack as well.
09:13Then the gap for Bouliga, three seconds now.
09:14So Bouliga's out of reach.
09:16And therefore Razgaf-Dioglu, he needs those 20 points per second.
09:18Sam Lowe's.
09:19Top rack, Razgaf-Dioglu.
09:20Alvaro Bautista covered by four-tenths of a second as they head into the high-speed turn six.
09:26And we ride on board.
09:27But there's no change of positions for the moment at least.
09:30And Top Rack might come under attack now from Alvaro Bautista.
09:33He does.
09:34Bautista making more great progress.
09:35This is looking good for Alvaro Bautista.
09:37It's that same place for Bautista.
09:39It was interesting to ride on board with Top Rack looking at Lowe's on another Ducati.
09:43Able to hold that line a little bit easier.
09:45Able to get the bike turned over.
09:46And Top Rack ended up being vulnerable to Bautista then as well.
09:49I said it before in the circuit guide as well as in the build-up.
09:53Bautista so strong here in Assen.
09:55He is very strict as well in particular.
09:57Down the vein flat through turn six.
09:59And he's made good use of his momentum to pass Top Rack, Razgaf-Dioglu, on lap number five.
10:03So your new look top five now.
10:05Bouliga in front.
10:062.8 seconds ahead of Andrea Locatelli.
10:09And it's Sam Lowe's two-tenths back.
10:11Bautista only three-tenths now from Sam Lowe's for a place on the boat.
10:14Locatelli and Lowe's.
10:15If they want to have a podium, they've got to dig in right now because Bautista, Top Rack, they're there.
10:20And they're able to compass and we know what their pace and consistency is going to be like.
10:23Longest braking zone on the circuit at 190 metres in towards turn one.
10:27But it's still not enough for Top Rack, Razgaf-Dioglu to recover against Alvaro Bautista.
10:32And now we're coming towards Bautista's favourite area on the circuit where he can really attack his fellow Ducati of Sam Lowe's for third position.
10:40And it's not down the straight.
10:41It's the run through the corners at the end of the straight as well.
10:44So have a look at the change of direction for Bautista through six and able to hold that right-hand side of the track through seven to set the move up into eight.
10:51Bautista has the top speed record at this circuit, 305.1 kilometres per hour set in 2024.
10:57That's in the speed track just before turn six, the Ventschlang.
11:00Sam Lowe's covers the line there.
11:02Now Bautista not quite able to get on turns, but there's just a bike length between them in this race for third position.
11:07Lowe's is able to cover off in the way that Petrucci and Razgaf-Dioglu weren't able to on the previous two laps.
11:12Now Bautista has another straight here to try and get alongside, but can't quite get the job done.
11:17Down into turn six, you saw Sam have a big slide on the rear whenever he's backshifting through that.
11:21So for Alvaro Bautista, he couldn't quite carry his normal momentum and normal lines right there.
11:25He had to be affected by what Lowe's had done.
11:28So for Bautista, let's see if he's able to carry the speed on to the back straight now.
11:33Yes, we're watching a four-rider fight really for second and third position.
11:36The race leader's checked out.
11:37Bautista with great acceleration tries to go all the way around the outside of Lowe's, but Lowe's still has the line.
11:42You saw the bobble for Lowe's again.
11:44He's riding as hard as he can to try and keep these riders at bay.
11:47He's up there in the poking spots.
11:48He doesn't want to give it up.
11:49New personal vest on lap five is a 1.34.2, but Bautista's into the 1.33s,
11:55and Razgaf-Dioglu ducks off the final chicane at the end of lap six to pull alongside Bautista,
11:59and then past Sam Lowe's underbraking in towards turn one.
12:02So two moves in one go for Razgaf-Dioglu, immediately leapfrocks from fifth to third,
12:07and Bautista must immediately now get through on Sam Lowe's to avoid top-rack Razgaf-Dioglu escaping away.
12:13Yeah, and for Bautista, let's see if he's able to make that progress down the back straight.
12:17Last time round, we saw loads of that little slide.
12:20Have a look at him once he gets the back shift into turn six at the end of this straight.
12:23Is that bike going to move underneath him again?
12:25That could set up Bautista.
12:27Sam Lowe's relative lack of pace has also allowed Danilo Petrucci to latch back onto the tail of Alvaro Bautista.
12:33We know this is Bautista's strongest area on the circuit. He's bottled up behind Sam Lowe's as things stand on lap number seven.
12:40Lowe's to tail again, but just can't find his way to wriggle through on Sam Lowe's, who holds sway in fourth position.
12:45This is where for Lowe's on that number 14 machine, you're trying to see if he can keep calm.
12:50Here goes Bautista.
12:51Oh, down goes Bautista and takes out Sam Lowe's as well.
12:55Real disappointment for Alvaro Bautista, the best speed we've seen from him this season so far,
12:59and it ends in the gravel trap on lap seven of race one at this Pirelli Dutch round.
13:04The two race one crashes in a row for Alvaro Bautista last time round.
13:07It was with Scott Redding and Gortemau at this time with Sam Lowe's.
13:10And for those two Ducati riders, they'll stalk off after that one.
13:14And for Alvaro Bautista, it's another massive chunk of points gone.
13:18And his championship challenge, we might leave him at the quarter point of the season, it's done.
13:22Yes, the problem for Bautista in particular is you would have expected him to have the pace in the second half of this race
13:29to at least go off the second position.
13:32Bullock is away and gone 3.6 seconds up the road.
13:35So you almost feel as though Razz Gaffield getting in front of him and starting to build a gap with impatience from Bautista.
13:41Yeah, it's one of those things where Alvaro can see how much is moving around underneath him
13:46and what's happening for Sam in front of me wants to make sure he's able to come through.
13:50You can see there Alvaro just having a chat with Sam there as well.
13:54He knows that it's his mistake that's cost them both a good point scoring race.
13:58And for Alvaro, you have to be in a position to make moves.
14:01But we see so many times into this corner, riders tuck the front just carrying that.
14:05A little bit too much speed, a little bit too much lean angle on the inside line.
14:09And unfortunately for Bautista leads to a crash.
14:12Unfortunately for Lowe's from the pole, a really good chance to score good points is gone as well.
14:16Lap 8 of 21, Bullocker leads the way ahead of Andrea Locatelli and Toprack Razz Gaffield.
14:22Big gap now has opened behind Toprack to Danilo Petrucci.
14:26So there's a real chance here for Andrea Locatelli to be on the podium.
14:30We might well find ourselves in a very familiar situation to race one in Portsmouth.
14:34Look at how much has changed in a lap.
14:36Suddenly Bautista's gone, Lowe's has gone, Alex Lowe's just crashed as well at Turn 5.
14:41And suddenly you're left with a situation where Toprack is going to come through on Locatelli
14:45and then the battle at the front of the field will settle down.
14:48Yeah, not a convincing ride from Toprack thus far, but a little bit of good fortune there with Alvaro Bautista's incident.
14:55And he's got to be the favourite now for second position.
14:58But it is nonetheless another sensational ride from Andrea Locatelli.
15:01Big step forward from him in Portimao last time out with those top five finishes,
15:05particularly with that third place in race number one.
15:09It's not going to be too much longer before Razzgattioglu is thrown.
15:11Canepa's going to have an offer on the table at the end of this weekend for Locatelli
15:15because he's showing what he can do for Yamaha.
15:17And they need to make sure that they're able to lock him up and keep him on the bike
15:20because Portimao and now into this weekend,
15:23he's been able to show just how good of a rider he is for them.
15:25Black nine, Locatelli holding on ahead of Razzgattioglu to second position.
15:29This is the closest fight on the circuit, just a tenth of a second between them.
15:33Locatelli, after his super performances in Portimao a fortnight ago,
15:37will be thinking about the podium,
15:39but I don't think he's going to be able to think about second place for too much longer.
15:42Razzgattioglu, his former teammate, is visibly faster.
15:45Hasn't been able to find a way through just yet,
15:47but on the change of direction, he will lunge down the right hand on turn eight.
15:51And Razzgattioglu's finally up into second position.
15:54Another damage limitation ride in prospect for Razzgattioglu with Bologa leading the way.
15:58Yeah, Toprak able to put himself in position to only lose five points to Bologa,
16:03but for Razzgattioglu, the fact that he's four and a half seconds down on the race leader,
16:07that's what's going to worry him with only the first half of the race done.
16:11And yet it's a circuit where he's only won once in the past,
16:13where you wouldn't necessarily expect him to be picking up big points compared to Bologa.
16:19Ducati have had such great results here in the past.
16:21We saw the speed from Alvaro Bautista as well before his spill.
16:24Might get more difficult as the weekend goes on for Toprak,
16:27but for the moment, he is having to work hard against Andrea Locatelli,
16:30having seen him off on this lap number nine.
16:33We'll see what the gap is for the record to Niccolò Bologa at the head of the field
16:35as they come across the start lap 10.
16:38Bologa still in the low one minute 34s, 4.6 seconds ahead of Razzgattioglu.
16:42Two tenths of a second back is Locatelli, 1.3 seconds back is Petrucci.
16:47He was almost half a second faster,
16:49while Locatelli was passed by Razzgattioglu last time around.
16:52So there is still a podium up for grabs for Danilo Petrucci.
16:55Yeah, you can see for Toprak, though, how hard he's having a ride at this stage.
16:59And it's one of those situations where he's right on that limit,
17:02and it's not where he's able to make those overtaking moves on the brakes,
17:05either in the heavy braking zones,
17:06like we normally see from Razzgattioglu into the chicane.
17:09He hasn't been able to make the move usually.
17:11For him, it was on those changes in direction
17:12and getting the high ground, putting his bike in the right place,
17:15where he's then able to make sure that he dictates terms.
17:18It was similar in turn one whenever he came through on Bautista and Lowe's.
17:22So gap now to Petrucci, 1.1 seconds.
17:24Danilo Petrucci continues to close.
17:26Interesting to see if Razzgattioglu's got the pace to stretch away from Locatelli,
17:30because if not, Petrucci's closing on the pair of them.
17:33Yeah, for Petrucci, last time around half a second faster than Locatelli,
17:36but pretty much the same pace as for Razzgattioglu.
17:39The gap, 1.1 seconds.
17:40So once it gets in underneath that second,
17:42then it gets interesting for them.
17:43Closest race at the moment is Iker Lekuona versus Remy Gardner,
17:46and Lekuona's riding a Stormer here in P6.
17:49Of course, while we're watching the podium scrab,
17:51Lekuona having made a great recovery, Vieje as well.
17:54Yes, there's attrition.
17:55You know, we've got five riders out of this race already,
17:58but that's much better news for the Hondas,
18:00because they were miserable after Super Bowl.
18:02Yeah, and definitely one of those situations
18:04where for Iker Lekuona to be running up inside the top six,
18:07Jamie Vier here with a decent performance as well.
18:09There's points to be had for them,
18:11and obviously you've got to keep it on the island.
18:12They've seen Lowe's, Bautista, Ian O'Neill crash out of this one.
18:17New personal best lap from Danilo Petrucci on lap number 10
18:20at 1 minute 34.253.
18:22He's matching Bulliger's pace at the head of the field.
18:24Gaps down to Leicester the second now,
18:26and Razzgattioglu still only a tenth ahead of Locatelli.
18:28So the next man to watch is going to be Danilo Petrucci as he continues to climb.
18:33Yeah, that's the fastest lap of the race for him.
18:35A personal best fastest lap for Petrucci, doing a good job.
18:38We saw at the opening round here in Phillip Island that he was really solid there.
18:43Similar track here in Assen as well to Phillip Island,
18:46so you're able to carry those corner speeds,
18:48and Petrucci's doing a good job.
18:49He's going to keep them honest into the second half.
18:51Quick watch on the scrap fuller back down the order as well for sixth place.
18:54Lecuona, Gardner and Gierke.
18:56Gierke fastest off that trio.
18:58Gardner dropping back slightly from Lecuona,
19:00who continues to close on Michael van der Maak.
19:02Just looking back at Locatelli there, he looks so comfortable.
19:04He's going to attack top rack.
19:06He's got more bike underneath him.
19:07He's got to, because if he doesn't,
19:09Petrucci could be through,
19:10and Locatelli would be relegated outside of those podium places.
19:13It is Petrucci who's the man making progress at this stage.
19:17As Locatelli and Razzgattioglu both try to answer back here.
19:21Gap behind Petrucci, 4.2 seconds to van der Maak,
19:24so it's a separate scrap.
19:26There's one race here involving three riders
19:28for second, third and fourth positions.
19:30A separate race, the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth,
19:33all in one cluster as well.
19:35Less than a second, the gap to van der Maak and Lecuona.
19:38As we watch Locatelli attacking,
19:40coming into turn 16 in front of the main grandstand here in Aston.
19:43This is the race for second position.
19:44Let's see if he can get close enough to try something in turn one as well,
19:47because for Locatelli, you can see there on the brakes,
19:49he was breaking at the same point as Toprak.
19:51Toprak doesn't have that advantage that we typically see,
19:54so the bike's just not working great for Toprak now.
19:57Maybe with that harder front tire compared to other riders,
19:59it's a little bit of a factor for him,
20:00but right now the BMW isn't where Toprak needs it to be.
20:03Even with Toprak at his best,
20:04you're going to have to eat an awful lot of Wietovics
20:06in order to outbrake him,
20:08and Locatelli thought about the move there
20:10going into turn 16 on lap number 11,
20:12but just wasn't quite close enough.
20:14This is where Locke is actually quite strong.
20:15The change of direction at the end of the chicane,
20:17look at how smooth he is on the bike.
20:19Toprak's having to manhandle it,
20:21and he looks all action,
20:22he's aggressive on the bike,
20:23but Locatelli's just able to flow
20:26one side to the track to the other,
20:27so Toprak's just trying to keep himself in a cool head,
20:31but Locke is able to just pull back those bike lengths
20:33each time,
20:34and you can see how close he is here.
20:36He's faster in this part of the track than Rascatioglu.
20:38Locatelli has been maximizing the width of the circuit,
20:40certainly to close back onto the tail of Rascatioglu
20:43for second position all the while.
20:45The shark in the water is Danilo Petrucci.
20:47The gap's now down to 7 tenths of a second,
20:50so that's 8 tenths covering second, third, and fourth places.
20:53Rascatioglu looking vulnerable here,
20:55and he might be relegated outside those podium spots altogether.
20:58This is going to have to be a great defensive ride
21:00from the reigning world champion.
21:01Yeah, if Locke wants that second place,
21:03he wants to beat Rascatioglu.
21:04He has to come true now,
21:05because at the end of the race,
21:06we know how strong Top Rack is
21:07when everyone's tires have dropped off.
21:10But look at Locke,
21:10how big he gets now.
21:12He's faster in these fast corners at the end of the lap.
21:14Again, close, but not quite close enough.
21:16He had a bubble across one of the curbs a few corners ago
21:18and was immediately able to zoom straight back onto the tail
21:21of Top Rack.
21:22Top Rack is bottling up Locatelli's pace.
21:24As we come into lap 13,
21:26the Yamaha man moves to the inside into turn one,
21:28but there's no way through there.
21:29Yeah, and just looking at Petrucci behind them
21:31in the second sector last time around,
21:34the fastest second sector for him as well.
21:36So he's got his confidence up.
21:38He knows that there's a chance
21:39of being able to come away with second place in this one.
21:41Is there a move for a jab into turn five here on lap 13?
21:45There is Rascatioglu has to stand up the bike
21:48as he sees his former Yamaha teammate Andrea Locatelli
21:51make his way through.
21:53Rascatioglu will want to answer immediately back
21:55as they come down the main slang.
21:57He's got the top speed advantage,
21:58but he can't get through into turn six.
22:00And Locatelli's made that move very nice and early
22:02on lap 13.
22:04Yeah, you can see for Locatelli and for Yamaha,
22:06the super concession parts that they brought in Portimao,
22:08they're working here as well.
22:10And Locke is up there on merit.
22:11He's been fast in the Super Bowl session.
22:13He's ridden a really good opening half of this race.
22:16Now for the last third of the race,
22:17he needs to make sure he gets the head down.
22:19He's able to open up a little bit of a gap over top rack.
22:21Half a second now,
22:22the gap for Petrucci to the places on the podium.
22:24It's Rascatioglu who is now in his crosshairs
22:26rather than Andrea Locatelli.
22:28We saw it was Locatelli versus Petrucci
22:30for third spot in Portimao.
22:33Race one a fortnight ago.
22:35And here they're second place,
22:37potentially up the ground for Petrucci.
22:39Seven tenths of a second still,
22:40covering Locatelli, Rascatioglu and Petrucci in fourth.
22:43Yeah, the pace is slow right now, though.
22:45It's around about a second off that fastest lap.
22:47So the tyre dig is being a bit of a factor here,
22:50which is interesting for these riders as well.
22:53A lot of riders have struggled with the front tyre
22:54in the course of the pre-practice sessions.
22:56But certainly for these riders,
22:58they don't have that same speed
22:59that they would have expected.
23:01Quick mention of the race further back as well.
23:03Van der Mark has lost all of his advantage over Ikelec.
23:05He's only three tenths of a second now
23:07ahead of the Honda man.
23:09Behind him, it's Remy Gardner,
23:10two tenths of a second back.
23:11Yerke becoming tailed off.
23:13So it's now a trio racing over fifth position.
23:16Good little battle,
23:17but Van der Mark looks a little bit vulnerable
23:19because he has been losing
23:20a couple of tenths of a second per lap to Ikelec.
23:22Yeah, the Honda is very good on its tyres.
23:24We see that time and again.
23:25And Ikelec now on that number seven machine.
23:27We'll see if he's able to make a move on Van der Mark.
23:30But he has to defend as well
23:32from the 87 of Remy Gardner.
23:34We're able to see with Locatelli
23:36just how good that Yamaha is.
23:37Gardner's good around this.
23:38He's doing a decent job here
23:40to be running up inside the top seven.
23:41All three of these, in fact,
23:42track specialists here in Aston.
23:44Michael van der Mark with seven podiums at this venue.
23:46Ikelec owner with the first of his two podiums
23:49in World SBK here.
23:51And for Remy Gardner,
23:53his only Rostrum spot to date
23:54was here in the 2024 Dutch round
23:57at the end of that weekend.
23:58So a good race going on for fifth position.
24:01And Charlie Vieja waiting in the wings
24:02as you saw in that long shot
24:04just to pick up the pieces
24:04if it all goes wrong for the three men ahead of him.
24:07It's Van der Mark, the Dutch favourite.
24:09Best finish this season so far.
24:11Have had fifth place from race two
24:12in Portemau a fortnight ago.
24:14fending off for Ikelec owner.
24:17Just a tenth of a second between them
24:18and another tenth of a second back to Remy Gardner.
24:20This is Nicola Budaga.
24:21He's always on.
24:22Your race is for fifth position
24:23with three riders covered by just two tenths of a second
24:26as we come towards lap 15.
24:27Petrucci only three tenths of a second.
24:29They're playing top rack as well.
24:30So he's closed right up onto the back of that
24:32as they come across the line.
24:34And Locatelli, he was fast last time around
24:36to open up a few tenths of a second
24:38on the other riders.
24:39That's why we saw Nicola Budaga
24:41because he had a big moment
24:42coming through the end of the lap.
24:44A lot of the times when you see a moment like that
24:46through that section of the track
24:47it's because of the wind.
24:48And maybe Budaga just got caught by a gust.
24:50He can certainly afford to ease off.
24:525.7 seconds his advantage over Andrea Locatelli.
24:56Lost less than two tenths of a second
24:58despite that big moment.
24:59last time around.
25:01As we return our focus to the last of the podium spots
25:03top rack Razzgaffioglu on the grass
25:05desperately trying to maximise the width of the track
25:08here in Assen.
25:09But it's not going to be enough surely
25:10to hold on ahead of Danilo.
25:12Petrucci is going to make an aggressive pass here
25:14for third position.
25:15And Petrucci is now up into the podium spots
25:17and I'm afraid Razzgaffioglu
25:19has just got no pace whatsoever.
25:21Yeah, he really is struggling right now top rack.
25:23We'll see if he's able to try and answer back to Petrucci
25:26but not able to do that in the run down
25:28in towards turn eight, sorry, turn nine.
25:31So for top rack, this is a big moment for him.
25:34He needs the podium.
25:35He needs those extra points.
25:36Yeah, remember here in Assen last year
25:39started the weekend in sluggish fashion
25:41before picking up later on.
25:43Perhaps he will turn his focus to better tracks
25:45still to come on this calendar.
25:46but the problem is that Niccolò Bolliger
25:48is maximizing his advantage here
25:50stretching away at the head of the field.
25:52Razzgaffioglu trying to answer back.
25:54This is for third position against Petrucci.
25:57Further back, I can tell you,
25:58Ikelecuona has come through now
25:59on Michael van der Maak.
26:00That's for fifth spot
26:01as we watch these two go head-to-head
26:03for third and fourth positions.
26:05Razzgaffioglu with the tighter line
26:06coming off the chicane.
26:08Turn 18, he's alongside Petrucci.
26:10Back into turn one.
26:11Heaviest braking zone on the circuit.
26:12190-metre stopping distance
26:15from fifth gear down to second for turn one.
26:17And Razzgaffioglu makes best use
26:19of that heavy braking zone
26:20back through into third.
26:21BMW and Ducati were affected
26:23by the fuel flow changes for this year
26:25and for this weekend.
26:27It shouldn't be something
26:28that's causing a major factor
26:29for Razzgaffioglu,
26:30but obviously the changes
26:31for the superconcession chassis
26:33from last year,
26:34that is having a bigger issue for him.
26:35He doesn't have that same confidence
26:37and for Razzgaffioglu,
26:38he's just really having to fight
26:40to the nail to hold on to anything.
26:42Razzgaffioglu has recovered
26:43his place for third
26:44and Vandermarkt's also back
26:45at the front of his group
26:46for fifth position.
26:48Ikelecuone relegated down
26:50to sixth place.
26:50Gardner still right there
26:51and Xavi Vierke.
26:53The more this race goes on,
26:54the more he's closing them back down.
26:56He was with them earlier on in the race,
26:57but dropped off the pace.
26:59But now that the tyres
26:59are beginning to fade
27:00for the riders ahead of him,
27:01Vierke is back in the mix.
27:02Four riders,
27:03all in contention
27:04and all separated
27:05by just three-tenths of a second
27:07through the last timekeeping point.
27:09And Vandermarkt's going to get
27:10swallowed up by the pack here.
27:11Lecuone comes around his outside
27:13with the top-end pace of that Honda.
27:16Vandermarkt can do nothing
27:17to answer back
27:17and now the door is open
27:18for Remy Gardner
27:19to have a go as well.
27:20Yeah, you can see for Vandermarkt
27:21on the number 60 machine
27:22trying to hold those wider lines
27:24to try and give himself
27:25the corner exit
27:26to try and get a run
27:27on Ikelecuone.
27:28We'll see if he's able
27:28to do that
27:28up towards the Gertemmer curve
27:30at the end of the lap.
27:31But Vandermarkt,
27:32he's vulnerable.
27:33Top-rack's vulnerable.
27:34The BMW just not quite got
27:36what it needs right now.
27:37Coming in towards this final chicane
27:39then at the end of lap 16.
27:42Vandermarkt in front of the grandstand
27:43urged on by the crowd
27:45will be keen to do something special
27:47and try and claim this fifth position.
27:49But it looks as though
27:50it's going to be tough
27:50not only to challenge for P5
27:52but to remain in the top six,
27:55top seven, top eight maybe even.
27:57Axel Bassani beginning to gain ground
27:59and make this a five-rider group.
28:01They're all covered by
28:01just a second now
28:03at the start of lap 17.
28:04Yeah, we're down into
28:05the final quarter of this race
28:07and this is where teams
28:08are starting to give riders
28:09notices as well.
28:10And for Toprack
28:11and for Vandermarkt
28:12they've been told
28:12about their electronic settings
28:13from their pit boards.
28:14So they're trying to give them
28:15something more
28:16at the end of this race.
28:17Maybe open things up
28:18and make it a little bit freer.
28:20You can see there
28:20for Vandermarkt
28:22he's just having to
28:23give it all that he has
28:24just to stay at the front of this.
28:26But the one thing is
28:26as everyone else's
28:28tyres drop as well
28:29that's where maybe
28:29it comes back to them.
28:30But look at the big bobble
28:31there for Vandermarkt
28:32once he closes the gas
28:33and gets ready to
28:34turn into the right-hander.
28:36It's a handful for him.
28:37Vandermarkt struggling
28:37in much the same way
28:38as his team-mate
28:39Toprack Raz Gapidioglu.
28:40He's already been passed
28:41by Ike Lektuona.
28:42Revy Gardner now comes through
28:44for at sixth position.
28:45It's not going to be long
28:46before Vierke gets him as well.
28:48The only bad news for Vierke
28:49is that he's got a tiger
28:50on his tail as well
28:52but Axel Bassani
28:53takes no prisoners.
28:54He's the lone remaining
28:55promoter in this group
28:58after Alex Lowe's
28:59got caught up earlier on
29:00and Bassani in ninth position.
29:03But we might be able
29:04to make that eighth
29:05eighth very shortly
29:06because Vierke in his crosshairs
29:08and then Michael Vandermarkt
29:09ahead as Axel Bassani
29:10tries to pull alongside Vierke
29:12getting the door is closed.
29:13We can see on the run-through
29:14turn five as well
29:16just how many marbles
29:17are on the outside tracks.
29:18Tire consumption's
29:19a massive issue right now
29:20for these riders.
29:21Some riders like Raz Gapidiogna
29:22do a second and a half
29:22off their fastest lap of the race.
29:24We're not used to seeing
29:25a down-through like that.
29:26This is a big issue
29:27for these riders out there
29:28with Vierke's title right now.
29:29Coming into lap 18
29:30five riders there
29:32covered by four tenths
29:33of a second.
29:34They are absolutely
29:35nose to tail
29:35back in towards turn one.
29:37Vierke who leads the group
29:39has opened a little bit
29:40of daylight
29:40such as it is
29:41over Remy Gardner.
29:42Larky's podium finisher
29:44here at the Dutch round.
29:45Michael Vandermarkt
29:46the home man
29:46down to seventh position.
29:48Then it's Xavi Vierke
29:49and Axel Bassani
29:50who've often been
29:51the fastest two riders
29:52in this group.
29:53Vierke's compromised
29:54his exit off turn five here.
29:56Is that an opportunity
29:57for Axel Bassani?
29:58We know there's a bit
29:59of a deficit
29:59in terms of top-end speed
30:01for the promoter
30:02particularly compared
30:03to the likes of Honda
30:04and Ducati.
30:05And so he's not
30:06going to be able
30:07to get there on Xavi Vierke
30:08through there
30:08on lap 18.
30:10Yeah, just as we can see
30:11for Xavi though.
30:12Look at how he's able
30:13to carry that
30:13little bit more speed
30:14than Vandermarkt
30:15and it sets up
30:16the move down
30:16in towards the right-hander.
30:18That's actually
30:18in fact is all about momentum.
30:20A move made
30:20into the right-hander
30:21at turn eight
30:21is actually set up
30:22at turn six.
30:23And here comes Bassani
30:24to pile on the pain
30:26for Vandermarkt
30:26as well.
30:28And so that'll be
30:29Vandermarkt down
30:29to ninth position.
30:30I did say he looked
30:31vulnerable to slipping
30:32out of the top eight places
30:33altogether.
30:34And given that he's
30:35been the slowest rider
30:36in this group
30:36for a good number
30:37of laps now
30:37it's going to be difficult
30:38for Vandermarkt
30:39to make any progress.
30:41Back with Razgatlioglu
30:42versus Petrucci.
30:43I think Petrucci
30:44must have made a mistake
30:45a couple of laps ago
30:46because all in one go
30:47he dropped eight-tenths
30:48of a second back
30:48from top back
30:49and he's narrowed
30:50that gap back down
30:50to just a tenth
30:51on lap 18.
30:53Meanwhile,
30:54at the head of the field
30:54Boulogali
30:556.6 ahead of Locatelli
30:574.4 back to this round
30:58for the final podium spot.
31:00Look at top back's pace
31:01though, 36-3
31:02and then a mid-35
31:03back out to
31:04low 36 as last time around
31:0636-2 this time around
31:07he's got nothing
31:08underneath him right now.
31:09Razgatlioglu
31:10he's really struggling
31:12to manage that tyre.
31:13A 36-2 for Razgatlioglu
31:14compares to his fastest lap
31:16of a 33-9.
31:17We don't see deltas
31:18like that.
31:19He's really vulnerable here
31:20because Petrucci
31:21has a little bit more tyre
31:22underneath him
31:22a lot more confidence
31:23underneath him
31:24and certainly for
31:26all these riders
31:26it's easy to see
31:28in hindsight
31:29just how tricky it is
31:30but the track conditions
31:31have improved a lot
31:32compared to any other
31:33time of the weekend
31:34maybe that's been a factor
31:35for tyre life.
31:36So it's Razgatlioglu
31:37versus Petrucci
31:38yet again.
31:39Petrucci already made
31:40his way once
31:40through on Razgatlioglu
31:42only to lose the position.
31:44He's trying to get it
31:44back definitively now
31:45on lap 19
31:46and he's closed
31:47nose to tail
31:48for third position.
31:49Petrucci on the inside
31:50of Razgatlioglu
31:51the bike quivering
31:52under braking.
31:53Petrucci's got it done
31:54with a block pass.
31:55Razgatlioglu tries to
31:56cut back
31:57but he's now stuck
31:57on the outside
31:58of the circuit
31:58and third place
31:59belongs to Danilo Petrucci.
32:01Good move from Petrucci
32:02Toprak trying to
32:03tough it out with him
32:04but Petrucci knew
32:05what he had to do.
32:06That move was set up
32:07two corners earlier
32:08just by the fact
32:09that he could see
32:09Razgatlioglu was struggling
32:10and that's the beauty
32:11of Assen
32:12is that you can put
32:13your bike in a position
32:14to overtake riders.
32:15Van Mark also struggling
32:17with his tyre life
32:18in the latter stages
32:18of this race.
32:19He's gone behind
32:19Dominic Egerton now
32:20and down into 10th position.
32:21It's very reminiscent
32:22of the Super Bowl race
32:23in Phillip Island
32:24when we saw both BMW riders
32:26really struggling
32:27for their pace
32:27in the second half
32:29of things
32:29and for Toprak
32:30we'll see if he can
32:31force an issue
32:32we'll see if he can
32:32keep himself on the podium
32:33but right now
32:34Petrucci is more
32:35bike on than either.
32:36Two laps to go
32:36it's Bullocker who leads
32:38ahead of Locatelli
32:39second
32:39this is your race
32:40for third position
32:41Petrucci versus
32:42Razgatlioglu.
32:43Twice now
32:43Petrucci has got through
32:44on Toprak
32:45last time
32:46Toprak was able
32:47to answer back
32:48but his hopes
32:49must be fading now
32:50as this race goes on.
32:51137s
32:52it's so slow
32:53for these riders
32:54and for Razgatlioglu
32:56you can see
32:56he's not able
32:57to get close enough
32:58to Petrucci
32:58this battle's that much
32:59yes the good news
33:00for Razgatlioglu
33:01is he's got
33:027.6 still
33:03over Ikka Lekuona
33:04so it doesn't look
33:05as though he's going
33:06to drop into the hands
33:06or the clutches
33:07of the Hondas
33:09but it looks remote
33:10now for his hopes
33:11of being on the podium.
33:12And just looking
33:13at the times
33:13for both BMW riders
33:15in the 1 minute 37s
33:16they're as slow
33:17as anyone
33:18in the field right now
33:19and that's definitely
33:20one of those situations
33:21where they know
33:22that there's a lot
33:23of work to be done
33:23overnight
33:24to be able to find
33:25something.
33:25Yes certainly
33:26any of the riders
33:26in the points
33:27and that really
33:27is quite astonishing
33:28all the way
33:29back down the order
33:30Petrucci
33:31Razgatlioglu
33:32still racing
33:33for third position
33:34you know with top rack
33:34he's not going to give in
33:35I was quite impressed
33:36that he was able
33:37to answer back
33:37to Petrucci
33:38the first time
33:39that the lead
33:40independent came through
33:41but this time
33:42it's too much
33:43of a tall order.
33:44Yeah you can see
33:45for Razgatlioglu
33:45there when he's
33:46on the side
33:46of the tyre
33:47the bike just moving
33:47around underneath him
33:48through the long
33:49right handers
33:50at the end of the lap
33:51now you're into
33:51the fast section
33:52track this way
33:53you need confidence
33:53on what's underneath you
33:54and for Razgatlioglu
33:56you can see
33:56just loses
33:57that little bit of ground
33:58picking up this race
33:59behind because
33:59Saxel Bassani
34:00is throwing the bike
34:01around bucking
34:02Bronco there
34:03but he still manages
34:03to make his move
34:04and that's against
34:05Ikelecuona
34:06so Bassani's
34:07gone all the way
34:07through this group
34:08now and up
34:09into P5
34:09this is going to be
34:10the best we've
34:11seen from him
34:12since his
34:12much more
34:13closer days
34:14he's got it
34:14going through
34:14the final chicane
34:15coming into the
34:16last lap
34:17he's picked up
34:17again by
34:18Ikelecuona
34:19might be able
34:20to help his
34:20Honda teammate
34:21here by getting
34:22in amongst it
34:22and passing
34:23Bassani as well
34:24so shame for
34:25Bassani
34:25good move
34:26there for 5th
34:26position
34:27but he's now
34:27back down to 7th
34:28yeah and you can
34:29see for Bassani
34:30he's going to
34:30try and set
34:30something up
34:31into turn 5
34:31but Michael
34:32Vandermark
34:32is nowhere near
34:33this
34:33he's 5 seconds
34:344 seconds
34:34back from this
34:35group
34:35and very similar
34:36pace to Razgatlioglu
34:37shows the challenge
34:38of the BMW
34:39team that they're
34:40going to face
34:40on the final lap
34:42then
34:42it's the two
34:43Hondas
34:43versus Axel
34:45Bassani
34:45the motor
34:46sandwich
34:46in between the
34:48two Yamahas
34:49behind still
34:495 riders in
34:50this group
34:51it's not
34:51Vandermark
34:51anymore
34:52it's Egerton
34:52who's on the
34:53tail of the
34:54train
34:54said previously
34:55there's some
34:56real great
34:57pass results
34:57from Aston
34:58in this
34:59little group
34:59Egerton
35:00had a great
35:00duck round
35:01a couple of
35:01years ago
35:02as well
35:03as Bassani
35:04tries to recover
35:05against
35:05Chubby Vieke
35:06a little bit
35:07too desperate
35:07click to the
35:08back of him
35:08and down he
35:09goes
35:09ruining what's
35:10been his
35:10best race
35:11with Bermuda
35:11that's bad
35:12yeah and for
35:13Bassani
35:13that's a real
35:14shame
35:14he's going to
35:15qualify in the
35:15second row
35:16the grid
35:16for the
35:16Superpole
35:17race
35:17but crashing
35:18out of that
35:18position
35:19takes him
35:20out from
35:20decent points
35:21paying finish
35:22Niccolò
35:23Bulliger
35:23utterly
35:24dominated
35:24in
35:25Philippe
35:26Island
35:26first time
35:27out
35:27he suffered
35:28three defeats
35:28in Portimao
35:29a fortnight
35:30ago
35:30he's back
35:31to winning
35:31right
35:32it was
35:333-all
35:33coming into
35:34Aston
35:34it's now
35:354-3
35:35in terms of
35:36victories
35:36in favour
35:37of Bulliger
35:37over Toprak
35:38will miss
35:41out on
35:41the podium
35:42places
35:42all together
35:43Andrea
35:44Locatelli
35:44second
35:45beats Danilo
35:46Petrucci
35:46as he did
35:46in race
35:47one
35:47in Portimao
35:48two weeks
35:48ago
35:49and Toprak
35:50can only
35:51take
35:51fourth
35:52place
35:52Bulliger's
35:53championship
35:53lead
35:54will be
35:54back up
35:54to 41
35:55points
35:55best of
35:56the rest
35:56in fifth
35:57is
35:57Ikele
35:57Kiwona
35:58ahead of
35:59Xavi
35:59Vieke
35:59and Dominic
36:00Egeter's
36:00run
36:01of beating
36:01Remy
36:01Gardner
36:02his teammate
36:02in every
36:03race
36:03so far
36:03this season
36:04continues
36:04Egeter
36:05picks off
36:05Gardner
36:06on the
36:06final luck
36:07for seventh
36:07place
36:07Vandermark
36:08claims
36:09ninth
36:09after that
36:09late
36:10crash
36:10for
36:11Axel
36:11Vassani
36:12and Scott
36:13Redding
36:13will move
36:13into the
36:14top ten
36:14but only
36:151.3
36:15ahead of
36:16Alex
36:16Lowe's
36:16and given
36:17Lowe's
36:18earlier
36:18incident
36:19that shows
36:20what a struggle
36:20it has been
36:21for Scott
36:21Redding
36:21as well
36:22you can see
36:23as well
36:23for that
36:24instant
36:25as well
36:25Lowe's
36:26only six
36:26seconds
36:27back
36:27from
36:27Vandermark
36:28and that
36:29shows you
36:29just how
36:30much the
36:30pace
36:30dropped
36:31for the
36:31BMW
36:31rider
36:32at the
36:32end
36:32of the
36:32race
36:33for
36:33Toprak
36:33he's
36:34second
36:34a lap
36:35off
36:35the pace
36:35of
36:36Nicolo
36:36Bulliga
36:36because of
36:37those
36:37issues
36:38he's
36:38having
36:38with
36:38the
36:39tyres
36:39but
36:39for
36:40Rasgati
36:40Oglu
36:41there's
36:41no podium
36:42in this
36:43race
36:43and a lot
36:44of work
36:44to be
36:44done
36:44overnight
36:45yes
36:46great ride
36:47from

37:37thank you
37:38thank you

37:40Sunday
37:40in Portimao
37:41that it's not
37:41going to be
37:41easy
37:42for
37:42Locatelli
37:43to
37:43repeat
37:44those
37:44podiums
37:45because
37:46Rascatlioglu
37:47is going to
37:47come back
37:47stronger
37:48because
37:48Bautista
37:48is going
37:49to be
37:49there
37:49and we
37:49saw
37:49his
37:50pace
37:50before
37:51his
37:51spill
37:51and
37:52then
37:52there
37:52were
37:52so many
37:53incidents
37:53that
37:53there's
37:54several
37:54other
37:54riders
37:54who
37:55might
37:55think
37:55they
37:55could

38:19that
38:20was
38:20what
38:20was
38:20impressive
38:20and
38:21that's
38:21what he
38:21needs to do
38:21again
38:22this
38:22weekend
38:22back up
38:23what we saw
38:23today
38:24Danilo
38:25Petrucci
38:25celebrating
38:26his return
38:27to the
38:28podium
38:28as well
38:29of course
38:29at the
38:30season
38:30opener
38:31he was able
38:32to take
38:32third place
38:33in the
38:34Super
38:34race
38:34but it's
38:35his first
38:35cross-run
38:35finish
38:36since then
38:43moved twice
38:44to get
38:44through
38:44for third
38:44position

48:16was not
48:17able to
48:17do the

48:19I was

48:25and now
48:26I'm very
48:26happy to
48:27bring at
48:27home
48:28this

48:33yes
48:34always a man
48:35of a few
48:35words in this
48:36situation
48:36but it
48:37was a
48:38dominant

48:38from
48:39Bullocker
48:39once he
48:40was back
48:40through
48:40on
48:41Andrea
48:41Locatelli
48:42he never
48:42looked
48:42troubled
48:43yeah
48:44for
48:44Bullocker
48:46we were
48:46able to
48:46see that
48:47once he
48:47hit the
48:47front
48:48he had
48:48half a
48:49second
48:49lap
48:49in hand
48:50over the
48:50rest of
48:51the field
48:51but he
48:51could manage
48:51his pace
48:52really well
48:52whereas other
48:53riders were
48:54dropping off
48:54their pace
48:54by two
48:55sometimes even
48:56three seconds
48:56a lap
48:57he was able
48:57to manage
48:58that all
48:58the way
48:58through
48:59and that's
49:00what gives
49:00you the race
49:01victory
49:01in the longer
49:02races
49:02the super
49:03pole race
49:03is always
49:03different
49:04and that's
49:04where tomorrow
49:04morning will
49:05be really
49:05interesting
49:06new lap
49:06record for
49:07Niccolo
49:08Bullocker
49:081 minute 33.581
49:10beating Alvaro

49:20of the season
49:20the only other
49:21fastest lap

49:24by my
49:24reckoning
49:24that's a
49:2514th fastest

49:26in world
49:27SBK
49:27for
49:28Niccolo
49:29Bullocker
49:29just about
49:30everything
49:30going his
49:30way
49:31at this
49:31stage
49:32and crucial
49:33that if
49:34Toprak
49:34can't
49:34talk
49:35with wins
49:36tomorrow
49:36he's got
49:37to make
49:37sure at
49:37least he's
49:38second
49:38and just
49:39to limit
49:39the damage
49:40yeah it's
49:40all about
49:41damage
49:41limitation
49:41at this
49:42stage
49:42for Razgadlioglu
49:43and he'll
49:44know that
49:44there's plenty
49:44of riders
49:45that in
49:46the longer
49:46race are
49:47certainly
49:47going to
49:47be in
49:47the fight
49:48with him
49:48maybe for
49:48the super
49:49pole
49:49race
49:4910 laps
49:50it's a
49:50little bit
49:50different
49:51Toprak
49:51will feel
49:51from the
49:56Toprak
49:56but more
49:57so for
49:57Phil
49:58Maron
49:58and the
49:58rest of
49:59the crew
49:59there's a
50:00long night
50:00ahead of
50:01them to
50:01crunch the
50:02numbers
50:02and go
50:02through the
50:03data
50:03and try
50:03and find
50:03the solution
50:04tomorrow
50:04morning's
50:05warm-up
50:05session
50:05is going
50:06to be
50:06really
50:06important
50:06for them
50:06with us
50:07discussing
50:07the race
50:08for what
50:08was

50:10finished
50:11Laquona
50:11Vierke
50:12Egeter
50:12Gardner
50:13and then
50:14Vandermarka
50:15a little
50:15bit back
50:15but real
50:16good group
50:17there
50:17Axel
50:18Bassani
50:18involved in
50:19the mix
50:19we could
50:20have
50:20Sam
50:21Lowe
50:21we could

50:22Lowe
50:23as well
50:23and
50:24Alvaro
50:25Bautista
50:25so there's

50:27to
50:27tomorrow
50:27with all
50:28of those
50:29contenders
50:29back in
50:30play
50:30yeah
50:30I think

50:38Sam
50:38Lowe
50:38Alvaro
50:38Bautista
50:39Andre
50:39Iannone
50:40they'll
50:40all be
50:41in the
50:41fight
50:41for
50:42those
50:42positions
50:43tomorrow
50:43and
50:44I
50:44think
50:44it's
50:44fair
50:45to
50:45say
50:45from
50:45what
50:45we
