Captain Cold, Heat Wave, The Atom, Hawkgirl, White Canary et Firestorm acceptent d'être de l'aventure. Le succès des séries Arrow et Flash a incité la chaîne américaine CW à commander ce spin-off qui ne lésine si sur les effets spéciaux, ni sur les scènes de combats spectaculaires.
