Oliva Munn is recalling her steamy love scenes with Jon Hamm on their new show, Your Friends & Neighbors. In the new Apple TV+ series, the actress, 44, plays a character named Sam who is having a secret affair with 54-year-old Hamm's Andrew "Coop" Cooper — a former hedge fund manager who is "still grappling with his recent divorce." While attending the show's premiere in New York City on Tuesday, April 8, Munn, who wore a shimmering silver Roland Mouret dress, exclusively tells PEOPLE that "there's a lot of sex scenes" in the show and reveals that there was "a lot of dialogue" about getting them just right prior to filming.

00:00There's a lot of sex scenes in this, and there's a lot of dialogue about it with myself and John and Jonathan Chopper and the intimacy coordinator,
00:10because we really wanted it to be, it has to be really believable, because my character is wanting something more from John's character.
00:19But the only thing she's getting from him at this point is this sexual relationship, and so that's so much a part of what is between them.
00:29And so it's really important that we really feel how much she's leaning on this and trying to really connect with him through these moments,
00:39and those are their biggest connecting points.
00:47People talk about this like, but it's not like real life, clearly, and there's a lot of choreography that goes on behind.
00:57And intimacy coordinators are really like stunt coordinators or fight coordinators are there to help make the scene look as believable and realistic
01:07and help everybody achieve what we want to achieve, and so there's a lot of discussion.
01:11Totally.
01:11And I remember my character has to bite him, and I was nervous, and he just kept saying, he's like, it's okay, you can bite really hard.
01:19And then I did, and he's a pretty tough guy.
01:25He's a tough guy.
01:26He's a very tough guy.
01:26Yeah.
