00:00Well, you know how I feel about the Gaza Strip.
00:02I think it's an incredible piece of important real estate.
00:07And I think it's something that we would be involved in.
00:11But, you know, having a peace force like the United States there,
00:15controlling and owning the Gaza Strip would be a good thing.
00:18Because right now, all it is is for years and years,
00:22all I hear about is killing and Hamas and problems.
00:25And if you take the people, the Palestinians,
00:28and move them around to different countries,
00:30and you have plenty of countries that will do that,
00:33and you really have a freedom zone.
00:37You call it the freedom zone.
00:38A free zone, a zone where people aren't going to be killed every day.
00:41That's a hell of a place.
00:44It's a, you know what I call it, a great location
00:46that nobody wants to live in because they really don't.
00:49And when they have good living, real living,
00:53where Hamas and all of the problems they have,
00:56the level of death on the Gaza Strip is just incredible.

01:02I don't understand why Israel ever gave it up.
01:05Israel owned it.
01:06It wasn't this man, so I can say it.
01:08He wouldn't have given it up.
01:09I know him very well.
01:11There's no way.
01:12They took oceanfront property,
01:14and they gave it to people for peace.
01:16How did that work out?
01:17Not good.
01:18I think what the president talked about is, first of all,
01:21to give people a choice.
01:23You know, Gaza, Gazans were closed in.
01:26And every other place, including in arenas of battle,
01:30I mean, whether it's Ukraine or Syria or any other place,
01:33people could leave.
01:35Gaza was the only place where they locked them in.
01:38We didn't lock them in.
01:39They were locked in.
01:40And what is wrong with giving people a choice?
01:44Now, we've been talking, including over lunch,
01:47about some countries, I won't go into them right now,
01:50that are saying, you know,
01:52if Gazans want to leave, we want to take them in.
01:55And I think this is the right thing to do.
01:59If you give, you know,
02:00it's going to take years to rebuild Gaza.
02:01In the meantime, people can have an option.
02:04The president has a vision.
02:05Countries are responding to that vision.
02:07And we're working on it.
02:08I hope we'll have good news for you.
