00:00When you're in love with your dog, it's very easy to have a bias, because people kind of get blinded by how beautiful their dog is, how cute their dog is.
00:11And when the dog becomes very aware of that, they can use it to get their own way.
00:30Dogs who actually lie, it's kind of like they manipulate to get their own way, but it's based off how they feel.
00:45And if a dog kind of feels hungry, it doesn't mean that they need to eat.
00:50It all kind of really depends on the feelings factor.
00:55So dogs learn and respond based on what they get.
00:59So if a dog uses a facial expression, like they give you those sad eyes, and that works, then that's a method they're going to use.
01:09But it doesn't mean they need it, it means they want it.
01:13This is why the Pedigree Lie Detector is so cool, because we get fooled.
01:19We're going to get fooled. We love our dogs. That sad face, it gets us, right?
01:24And a good little tip, that if you go, oh, I can't help myself, I've got to give the dog something.
01:32What you would do is give the dog something to chew on.
01:35It's not going to give a big calorie increase, so not food or treats that the dog eats and eating and eating and eating.
01:43Something that the dog can, sometimes a bone or something the dog can chew on.
01:48So you'll feel good, the dog will feel good, but the dog won't like put unnecessary weight on.
