00:15In the past days, Alden seems to love running.
00:19Actually, there are a lot of sports that can help our health, but I think one of the most available and easy to do is running.
00:33Running gives Alden his much needed cardio, but there's a deeper reason for his running.
00:41Running is more than just a sport already. It's really something that I do for, of course, my health, but I think the number one reason is for my sanity.
00:51Running has a psychological effect on me. Like this, it's a different world for me.
01:02At 4 a.m., even though Diwa is still awake, I tried and accompanied Alden to their warm-up run. Barbie and I share the same sentiments in the early morning run.
01:13It's fun because it feels like your day has just begun. It feels like you've already achieved something first thing in the morning. You've already achieved something, you're already productive, and it's more motivating to go through your day.
01:28Aside from physical and mental health benefits, Alden and Barbie want to elevate their running and use it for a good cause.
01:35After the warm-up, the group went straight to a fun run for a cause with hundreds of supporters.
01:44It's more meaningful for me because this is a charity fun run for the children with cancer, and I'm so, so thankful to Alden for inviting me to this run.
01:55Aside from running, it's also helpful. Like what was organized by Asia's Multimedia Star on May 11 for Filipino filmmakers in the Mobile Fund.
02:06Maybe this is the calling of our running, that we're not just running for ourselves, we're also running to make a difference in our community.
