Tesla owner and Donald Trump confidante Elon Musk has said he wants there to be zero tariffs between the U.S. and Europe. Musk, who has become a divisive figure in U.S. politics since Trump’s re-election, spoke via video-link at a congress in Florence of Italy's right-wing, co-ruling League Party.
Under Trump's plans announced on Wednesday, European countries will be subject to a general tariff of 20% on its exports.
