00:00What do you think? They're 8-0. Do they keep winning?
00:04It's unbelievable. The Dodgers start to the season, and they've got San Diego
00:09right there as well. Man, this NL West is a real beast this year.
00:16They're not going 162-0, right? So eventually they're going to lose.
00:19Listen, the Dodgers are only hitting like 235, guys. There's a lot of stuff. The Dodgers are
00:25not tearing the cover off the baseball. They're winning because of pitching,
00:28and they're winning because they're very, very patient at the plate. I don't know. I think,
00:32like, technically, I don't know. They're 1 or 2. I think they're number 1 now, but, like,
00:35they're very good, Scott, at, like, walks. But Dodgers have a lot of professional hitters.
00:40They make you. They rack up the pitch count. They get to the bullpen fast.
00:44They just grind you out. It's not like they're scoring 12 runs a game every day or anything
00:47like that, but they systematically wear you out. I think they're number 2 in home runs.
00:52The Yankees smoked all of them, but Dodgers are hitting a lot of home runs. They're walking.
00:56They're getting on base. I always think, Scott, like, the biggest threat, and no disrespect to
01:00the American League, but I don't think, like, you know, I think the winner of the National
01:05League wins the World Series, right? It was like last year, like, with San Diego and L.A.,
01:09and the Dodgers admitted after. They said no disrespect to anybody else, but we looked at
01:13San Diego as kind of like our World Series that they were the ones that were going to be the
01:18toughest team to get by. I think Philadelphia are right there, Scott. You know, San Diego,
01:23man, people dismissed them because their owner died, and you got the turmoil with the family
01:27and selling the team and all that stuff. In the clubhouse, and you see what Merrill said the
01:33other day, Scott. Took a little shot at Soto, right? Said, ah, I'm not about $700 million,
01:38and I'm about, like, a family and a team, and I actually talk to people. Like, he basically
01:42said Soto didn't talk to anybody, so he called Soto out as a mercenary a little bit the other day.
01:47Subliminally, yes, and the way he did, like, unlike some others, I actually like to be on a
01:52team. Like, he went deep, Merrill, the other day, but that's a happy clubhouse, Scott. Like,
01:58I don't care. Like, do you think the players care that, like, the family have a feud? What do you
02:02care if you're a player? Your check is clearing. What do you care? Oh, the sister and the brother
02:08are arguing about who owns. Like, who cares?
