00:05errands going to the gym I effin love this song I first want to play you just
00:10like bits and pieces of my first reaction as soon as I woke up this
00:15morning and then we're gonna get into why I love this effin song
00:20brand new sleep token caramel let's go it's got like that nursery type of sound
00:28to it I got the little toddler toys I got kids bro it's a great songwriter
00:39this is so R&B though to me everyone keeps calling this one of the best metal
00:44bands out you can dance to this right here stick to me like caramel does this
00:54get any more commercial which is okay I love his flow vessels flow on these
01:07tracks are incredible I love the live drums over this pop track I know that
01:14this is gonna drive y'all crazy metalheads but this is a pop song and
01:17I really consider sleep token for the most part a pop band R&B pop band
01:23that fuses in metal to bring in those points of intensity to the song you know
01:29that's just me now we got that guitar coming in on the hook see they always
01:35they have the same format kind of like the last song they dropped where you
01:41know they ease in pause by the way but they ease in right no guitars then they
01:49hit you with some guitar around midway a minute a minute and a half in and then
01:55I'm sure at the end they're gonna hit us with some heavy riffs at the end it's a
01:58formula that just works we'll see if they hit us with that heavy piece at the
02:02end I'm sure they will lyrics are great though a lot of feeling

02:45gonna listen to it again and again here we go yep cold they hit you with this to
02:50pull you in with that you know the aesthetic the look the look is so
02:55effing metal so that's how they pull in the metal fans you know they hit you
02:59with a pop R&B type song and then they'll hit you with the metal hits and
03:04then on top of that the aesthetic you know the look it's brilliant it's effing
03:10brilliant sleep token is brilliant the way they have fused different genres of
03:15music but it's just wild how many like metal people are just like this is the
03:20best band ever for a lot of their songs don't even have actual instruments it
03:24sounds like it's a lot of digital stuff going on in it which once again is okay
03:28I'm not dissing sleep token but I am trying to wake up some of you metalheads
03:32out here breakdown is tough I mean a breakdown of a song is so powerful with
03:40metal so why not throw it in a pop song or an R&B song right and really get the
03:45crowd going nuts it once again it's brilliant man
03:50screaming it's gonna be a great song to see live and they're on tour right now
03:55too like can you imagine the feel you're gonna get when you watch this live like
04:01I'm just thinking about I swear I got goosebumps just thinking about it cuz I
04:04should be going to the show it's gonna be intense once that that hits that it's
04:09gonna be crazy love that lyrics are so on point so I'm gonna listen to this

04:26my take on the song after listening to it literally probably over an hour first
04:32of all every listen it just got better and better I the whole caramel line like
04:36I got over that like connecting it to a freaking commercial first I do marketing
04:42it's one thing I do for a living so like I'm just like God I can see this on a
04:46freaking commercial and I'm like no the song is what I'm getting from it it's
04:54Vessel basically you know talking about the price of fame you know and almost
05:00like you know like be careful what you wish for you might get it and you think
05:05you are getting to a place where you're happy but you know look where you are
05:10now you can't even open your effing door without worrying about it like who the
05:13hell is at the door you know you've got fans they're trying to you know expose
05:18you and put your name out while you're an entertainer and clearly he's trying
05:24to live a life that's private when it comes to his personal life and then you
05:28have fans screaming out his name you got people always trying to debunk and
05:32figure out exactly who all these members are to you know just like trying to make
05:38almost like their life their personal life just like non-existent misery loves
05:45company basically today and it's it's an interesting song because there's a lot
05:50of layers to it you could go a lot of different ways to the song and I have
05:54other interpretations to what this also could mean also but I'm just handing you
06:00with one and I'm sure people are gonna see other like lanes you know what I
06:05mean when it comes down to this song but I really liked it and it gave gives me a
06:10lot of feel you know and being someone in the public eye I can't even imagine
06:17being as famous as they are because like I had a YouTube channel that was
06:23like really big at one point called the sneaker addict and it's not very popular
06:28anymore I mean people still watch it and I still post content there but it was
06:32like super popular you know and I was like when I was younger I didn't mind
06:38getting the attention when I'd get stopped and and stuff like that I've had
06:43people freaking mail me stuff to my home and I felt uncomfortable about that
06:47like and now when people recognize me I feel very weird about that at times
06:53sometimes uncomfortable when they're like looking at me all weird and shit
06:58instead of just like saying hi like if you ever see me and you watch like you
07:02know this or when I interview people on my other channel the Dell show right I
07:06interview a lot of celebrities on that channel like just walk up to make a
07:11normal effing person but like I just can't imagine being at a level they are
07:17at and just like have like hundreds of thousands of people just like going
07:22crazy to just like see you you know and it's got to be a little overwhelming and
07:29I'm sure it's always been a dream to be successful in music and once again be
07:35careful what you wish for it because you might get it at the end of the day I
07:38really enjoyed this song I really like it I honestly like it just as much as
07:43the first song first song I'm still listening to and as much as I was like
07:49brutal with the whole pop thing that doesn't necessarily mean that it's
07:54bad music I'm all I'm saying is is that I think that what they have figured out
07:59is a way to connect to a mass amount of people a mass amount of people because
08:05even people that aren't really big into metal are gonna get pulled into this
08:09because you've got radio friendly sounds throughout the whole song basically
08:16until the very end I was literally playing this for someone because I had
08:21to go see someone for a minute and as soon as the freaking that drop hit at
08:27the end man they were so turned off by they because they don't like metal you
08:32know like they go crazy when I play metal you know what I mean but when that
08:37metal hit at the end oh my god like they were like oh I was just beginning to
08:44like this but you have a lot of people that are gonna hear that also that
08:48aren't in the metal that are like yo this is crazy and then you're gonna have
08:52metal heads that are gonna really and are gravitating to this band so much and
08:59I think a lot of it has to do with the lyrics like and it having your hits of
09:06metal in the songs you know because this isn't your typical pop music it's
09:12effing depressing man and a lot of metal heads like myself like listening to
09:17depressing angry sad effing music you know I love listening to that I don't
09:23know effing why but I do maybe because I have a lot of emotion built inside you
09:28know I've been through a lot of shit I really have you know that's probably why
09:35metal heads love sleep token so much because like anyone that's just like yo
09:41it's metal man you don't hear you know this and then they'll play like a heavy
09:46piece a heavy portion of the song meanwhile the other 90% of the song is
09:52like an up-tempo pop beat you know R&B pop beat that you can hear on top
09:5740 station so that's where I'm like trying to break that whole thing down I
10:02think what sleep token has done is very cool they have figured out a way to
10:08blend genres together in a great smooth organic way where it's not sounding
10:17forced it's not sounding weird you know majority of the songs is like that
10:22especially lately they have songs that are heavy beginning to end also because
10:27I know some people are gonna say what about this song what about that song yes
10:31I agree with you on that but I mean if you like you know this type of music
10:36like at times I could hear like The Weeknd singing on some of these songs
10:42you know and that's just my opinion this is YouTube we all have our opinions and
10:48I can't wait to read yours but all in all this is a great song great tune and
10:52yeah I'm over with the whole caramel connection at first I was like oh my god
11:00it's so epic commercial you know what I mean but um I just it just went away it
11:06evaporated like after like the third list not even the third maybe the second
11:11and listening to music in a car is so special right if you make it made it
