00:0050th win of the season. First time since the James Harden. This is how long ago this was,
00:04Seth. The last time they won 50 games in a season, James Harden and Chris Paul were teammates.
00:09How long ago does that feel? The James Harden?
00:12It feels so long ago. Yeah. It's, I mean, cause we've been through so much, you know,
00:19that's good. You know, sometimes in your life, five years can feel like a blink of an eye
00:23and other times it feels like you lived seven lifetimes in five years.
00:26This is seven lifetimes.
00:27Yeah. Because you wrap up COVID and everything else that went along with it. And then remember
00:32the NBA schedule was screwed up for like three seasons after that because of the start times
00:37and everything. And then you've just had, you've rolled through so many different players
00:45and there've been so many dramatic departures and
00:47A lot of losses, a lot of losses along the way. That was fun. They began to do a beating
00:52up on the jazz. I don't care if this is a ratchet janky ass version of the jazz. It's
00:58always good to beat up on that uniform. 1 43 to 1 0 5. So in two of the last three games,
01:02the Rockets had been flirting with their biggest margin of victory of the seasons against two
01:07bad teams, granted the suns and the jazz and in between the loss to the Lakers.
01:11So so they win their 50th game. For those who haven't been following the standing super
01:16close. This means that the Rockets, they already clinched at least being in the play in this
01:22means they have clinched being in the playoff. They, they will be at least the six seed.
01:27So they don't have to worry about their season ending after one or two games, a elimination
01:32games in, in the seven through 10 play in no, no randomness there. There's a, one of
01:38the benefits of really, as much as you might think seating doesn't matter as much as it
01:43used to the, you hate to just like, isn't baseball. I mean, with the, the, the mini
01:47series that you play there, it just gets, it's random as hell. You have one bad day
01:51and all of a sudden you're everything's kaput, got to stay out of that.
01:55So they do, they're going to be at least the six seed. I think it's, there's a really
01:58good chance there. At least I think they're going to get a home court advantage in the
02:01first round. And they, you know, they still, they, they hold the, they're up to maybe two
02:06and a half games. I don't know if Denver played last night. I got to go look, they're up multiple
02:09games to keep the two seed right now, but they head into a, a really difficult patch
02:13of schedule. I actually stayed up for this whole thing last night, even though the game
02:16was never in doubt, reach shacking up five threes in the last six minutes of the game
02:23was a whole lot of fun to watch the bench was going crazy for that. That was cool. They're
02:27up three games on the Lakers. It's right now. Oh, nice. Okay. Well they're, they're in great
02:33shape then. I mean, they got to tell you all the, in all teams that we would really love
02:37to see them beat depending on who they play first. I mean, the, the Timberwolves, the
02:43Clippers, the Grizzlies, if like whoever makes it out of there, the Warriors, my God, I do
02:48want to see the Warriors in the first round. Uh, no, no. Well, I mean, I look, I'm ready
02:54for any of these teams that were the Warriors. I'm more about which would be the most entertaining
02:59series because I think they're all going to be fairly difficult in the West. Warriors
03:03are number two. I want to see the Clippers. Now if they stay the two seed, it's pretty
03:06simple. They'll just face the winner of that first playing game. The seven versus the eight.
03:11That's pretty simple. It gets, if they fall to the three seed, then it gets a little dicier.
03:15It's just, it's all gunked up right now. All these teams have 44 wins. The Warriors,
03:20the Timberwolves, the Clippers, and the Grizzlies all have 44 wins. Yeah. So they could face
03:24the Warriors even as the two seed if the Warriors have to play a playing game. Who do you want
03:27to play? Who do you want to see out of those, out of the Warriors, Clippers, and Timberwolves?
03:32I don't, I honestly, I don't want to see James Harden. I don't, it's just, I've told you
03:37before and not because I'm afraid of James Harden or, or anything. It's just, I don't,
03:43I, I, I've got a complicated relationship with James Harden. You do. I can't, I can't
03:47hate him. I can hate the way that he departed and everything else like that. I could lean
03:52into him just completely pooping his pants in the playoffs time and time again in close
03:58out games and what have you. I just, I can't do it. He was just so damn good for so long
04:04that I don't, it doesn't bring me any closures or anything like that to somehow beat James
04:09Harden in the playoffs and be able to say, I told you so. He never should have left.
04:14They might be the best team to play though, in terms of winning, just given the age of
04:17their two stars. You know, there's a chance, there's a chance Kawhi Leonard could come
04:21up with a knee injury in game two of that series and you don't have to worry about him
04:24anymore. The Warriors, honestly, I don't know how much of this, none of this is based in
04:29ration or anything, but I don't trust the officials. I just don't trust them. Don't
04:33trust them. Them and the Lakers. I can't, can't watch the Warriors get call after call
04:38and get away with thing after screen after thing. I just, I can't do it. I think there's
04:44rocket fans that are legitimately concerned about that with them and the Lakers. They
04:47didn't get a single free throw in the first half of that Lakers game on Sunday or Monday,
04:51whenever it was.
