00:00In the meantime, Banco Central Lampilipinas reported domestic liquidity, or M3, rose to
00:056.3% in February 2025. This is around 18 trillion pesos. Domestic claims grew by 10.1%, slower
00:13than the 6.8% expansion in January of this year. In the meantime, bank lending of universal
00:19and commercial banks grew by 12.2% in February this year, which is lower than January's 12.8%.
00:27According to the BSP, the M3 decreased marginally by 0.3% on a month-on-month, seasonally adjusted
00:33basis. Private sector claims expanded by 12.3% after the previous month's 13.1%. Net claims
00:40on the central government increased by 5.9%. The BSP stated that they will continue to
00:46ensure that domestic liquidity conditions remain consistent with the prevalent stance
00:51of monetary policy in line with its price and financial stability objectives.
