Captain Jamie Waring (Tyrone Power) and his lieutenant, Tom Blue (Thomas Mitchell), reluctantly give up their "trade" because of their friendship with Morgan, but other members of the Pirate Brotherhood, like Captain Billy Leech (George Sanders) and Wogan (Anthony Quinn) refuse to change, and assembling a crew of rogue pirates they raid indiscriminately throughout the Caribbean aboard the mighty ship 'The Black Swan'.
