Wild Artist: You probably haven't seen this form of art before

From an early age Elisabeth started to work in an unusual genre of the "Living Art". Her art form is now becoming famous all over the world.

00:00My name is Elizabeth Nismo, I am a visual performance artist, in which I create living

00:20art paintings.

00:33My art is, it's very imaginary, it's also an entirely different world for me, and maybe

00:41the person who is in the painting.

00:43Well, I was about two years old when I first started drawing, and then at some point I

00:53realized, like, oh, I want to be an artist, like, I don't want to, like, limit myself

00:58to just, oh, I want to paint.

01:07Today I will be working on a piece of artwork, and it is a peasant boy who is selling baranki,

01:15which is a kind of Russian bread, which was very popular in the old ages.

01:23Before I started this work, I was studying the costumes, how people behaved to kind of

01:29inform the model, so that it's not out of place.

01:36I did receive a lot of criticism, and I was bullied a bit when I started and people found

01:41out what I do, but I think it just, it's part of being an artist, I mean, you're always

01:47going to be criticized.

01:52It's kind of just a part where you have to follow your heart in this situation, you can't

01:55really just let other people be like, oh, this is ugly, and then you never draw that

01:59again.

02:03My mission is to bring a smile to people's faces, and to let them know that it's okay

02:08to be yourself, and you don't have to change yourself or what you want to be just to fit in.
