संभल, यूपी : चैत्र नवरात्रि कल से प्रारंभ हो रही है। लेकिन इससे पहले मीट की दुकानों को बंद रखने को लेकर पूरे देश में मांग उठ रही है। संभल में भी लोगों ने एसडीएम डॉ. वंदना गुप्ता को ज्ञापन सौंपकर मीट की दुकानों पर प्रतिबंध और साफ-सफाई बनाए रखने की मांग उठाई है। आज नाथ संप्रदाय के महंत बाल योगी दीनानाथ के साथ हिंदू समुदाय के युवा उप जिलाधिकारी के कार्यालय पहुंचे और उन्हें अपनी मांगों के संबंध में ज्ञापन सौंपा।
एसडीएम डॉ. वंदना मिश्रा ने कहा, "नागरिकों ने ज्ञापन दिया है। नवरात्रों के संदर्भ में साफ-सफाई और कानून व्यवस्था और धार्मिक स्थानों के पास खुले में मीट बिक्री पर रोक लगाने की मांग की गई है। साफ-सफाई हर बार की जाती है। खुले में मीट बिक्री पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी...।"
