00:00I think Nigel Farage and reform were a real threat to our NHS actually, even today he's
00:04been out again talking about an insurance-based system in our country. Now it might be all right
00:09for Mr Moneybags, those sorts of insurance premiums and upfront costs, that's not what
00:14most people in this country can afford. Do you really want to pay 23 grand for a hip replacement
00:18or when you go to A&E be asked to get your credit card out so they can take a deposit against any
00:24cost you might incur? That's what they've got in America, I don't want that here, I don't think
00:28people across the country do. In contrast, Labour delivering the traditional NHS values in the 21st
00:34century, we're cutting waiting lists five months in a row. We've delivered our two million more
00:38appointments that we promised seven months early. Now I'm not pretending I've fixed everything the
00:43first nine months, there's so much more to do but I hope it gives people that reassurance
00:49that we are delivering what we said and that under Labour the NHS has turned a corner,
00:54is beginning to move in the right direction.
