00:00What options have we got apart from this?
00:04I mean, we can't attack India if, you know, clearly that's not an option.
00:30To be absolutely frank, I'm a bit disappointed by the international community.
00:47I'm disappointed first because, you know, if 8 million Europeans were put under siege like this for 50 days
00:57or Jews were put under siege or Americans were put under siege, well forget Americans,
01:03even 8 Americans were put under siege, but I'm talking about any other.
01:08I mean, would the reaction have been the same?
01:12You know, they make statements and there is no pressure as yet on Narendra Modi to lift the siege.
01:19And what is happening to them right now? Responsibility lies on the United Nations too.
01:24And also, I think, finally, of the world leaders, the big countries, the powerful countries,
01:30I would urge them to look beyond big markets.
01:35There are certain, this thing, if this thing goes wrong,
01:38the effects will go way beyond the borders of the subcontinent.
01:43If ever, if ever the Security Council has to move, it's now.
01:48And I'd say for two reasons.
01:50One, the people of Kashmir are suffering simply because the Security Council could not implement its decision
01:57to allow them the right of self-determination.
02:008 million people are locked inside for 50 days.
02:04It's inhuman.
02:06So what is the Security Council for then?
02:09I feel disappointed that how can the world community stay quiet
02:14when 8 million people are being treated worse than animals?
02:18People look upon India as a market of 1.2 billion people.
02:22Sadly, I mean, sadly, this is what is happening.
02:27Material comes over the human.
02:30Some are appalled by it.
02:32But they keep quiet because in the end they start thinking of a market.
02:36What options have we got apart from this?
02:39I mean, we can't attack India if, you know, clearly that's not an option.
