00:00Samsung Galaxy A36 and A56
00:02bring performance on their pricing
00:04which is not justified at all.
00:06But after using both these phones
00:08I came to know that these phones are not about performance.
00:10So what does Samsung offer in A series?
00:13Are they really worth it or overpriced?
00:15We will find out in today's video but
00:17before that if you are new to the channel
00:19then don't forget to subscribe.
00:20So finally there is a design change in A series.
00:22Usually in all Samsung phones
00:24all three cameras are separated like this
00:26but this time on A series all three cameras
00:28are seen on one module which looks more clean.
00:30Also, durability is also taken care of.
00:32On both front and back
00:34we get to see Gorilla Glass Victus Plus.
00:36In terms of design
00:38Galaxy A36 and A56
00:40have just one difference.
00:42In A36 it's a plastic frame
00:44while on A56 you get a brushed aluminium frame
00:46which looks more premium.
00:48By the way, both these phones are
00:50more slim and lightweight than
00:52their last generation A35 and A55.
00:54Also, both these phones come with IP67
00:56resistant rating.
00:58Display is also exactly the same
01:00on both Galaxy A36 and A56.
01:02Just the bezels are a little more
01:04but somehow it still looks good.
01:06By the way, it's a 6.7-inch FHD plus
01:08Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
01:10Brightness is also quite good.
01:12Even in outdoor conditions
01:14both the displays look quite good.
01:16Both the phones have the same 5,000mAh battery
01:18which supports 45W charging
01:20and you don't get a charger on
01:22the box of both the phones.
01:24If you want to buy the original Samsung charger
01:26the 45W charger costs around Rs. 3,500.
01:28This is what I don't like about Samsung
01:30that even though they don't provide
01:32chargers with their flagship phones
01:34but at least in this segment
01:36they should have provided chargers.
01:38On paper camera specs are also quite similar.
01:40Both have a triple camera setup
01:42where there is a 50MP main camera
01:44and a 5MP macro camera.
01:46There is just one difference on the ultrawide lens
01:48that on Galaxy A36 you get an 8MP
01:50ultrawide lens while on Galaxy A56
01:52you get a 12MP ultrawide lens
01:54while on Galaxy A56 you get a 12MP ultrawide lens.
01:56Both have the same 12MP selfie camera.
01:58But the differences on paper
02:00are quite different from reality.
02:02You can see the differences between
02:04the cameras of both the phones.
02:06I have taken a lot of photos from both the phones
02:08where obviously Galaxy A56 has a better camera
02:10you can see the details are better.
02:12In the photos of Galaxy A36
02:14there are more grains and details are missing.
02:16If you look at the skin tones
02:18the results of Galaxy A56 look better.
02:20Colors are better on Galaxy A56
02:22Portrait results are also better on Galaxy A56
02:24from both front and back camera.
02:26Galaxy A36 is not able to focus properly
02:28in macro
02:30and in this case also we got better results
02:32on Galaxy A56.
02:34You can see the video samples here
02:36where colors are looking better on Galaxy A56.
02:38Dynamic range is also better
02:40and overall the video is also looking
02:42smoother on Galaxy A56.
02:50The main difference is in performance.
02:52Both the phones have mediocre
02:54processors according to their price.
02:56Galaxy A36 is powered by
02:58Snapdragon 6 Gen 3
03:00and Galaxy A56 is powered by Samsung Exynos 1580.
03:02To test the performance of both the phones
03:04I ran Antutu Benchmark
03:06and on Galaxy A36
03:08we got a score of 5 Lakh
03:10and on Galaxy A56 the score was around
03:129 Lakh.
03:14Both these numbers don't justify their price.
03:16Still there is one thing that makes
03:18both the phones worth it
03:20and that is the user experience.
03:22Obviously I won't recommend this to everyone
03:24like if you want to do gaming
03:26I won't recommend you this.
03:28In fact if you want to do heavy performance work
03:30like video editing then also I will not recommend you this.
03:32But if you want to buy a phone for day to day basic use
03:34whose UI is clean and gives you good user experience
03:36then this can be a good option.
03:38It's not like the UI is completely clean
03:40and you get some useless apps
03:42but you can easily delete them.
03:44The best part is that both the phones
03:46come out of the box with one UI 7.
03:48Also from Samsung
03:50you get 6 years OS update
03:52and 6 years security update
03:54on both the phones.
03:56Usually you get these many updates on flagship phones.
03:58Rest S25 series
04:00has some AI features like
04:02the AI select, circle to search
04:04then some photo editing features
04:06which are not as advanced as S25 series
04:08but are better than many
04:10phones in this price range.
04:12Now if you ask me which phone
04:14would be better to buy,
04:16is it worth it to pay Rs 9000
04:18and buy A56 instead of A36?
04:20My only answer would be
04:22if you want more performance, better camera,
04:24better durability with metal frame
04:26then paying Rs 9000 extra
04:28and buying A56 is totally worth it.
04:30Because on paper both the specs
04:32look similar but if you look at the camera
04:34difference, even after the same specs
04:36there is a huge difference in the camera.
04:38Results of A56 are much better.
04:40And also the in hand feel
04:42is more premium
04:44because of the brushed aluminium frame.
04:46And almost in A56,
04:48compared to A36, you get double performance.
04:50Now coming to final conclusion,
04:52here are 3 reasons why you should buy
04:54A series phones.
04:561st good durability, 2nd good user experience,
04:583rd good display.
05:00And here is also 3 reasons
05:02why you should not buy these phones.
05:041st below average performance,
05:062nd average camera,
05:083rd slow charging and no charger in the box.
05:10If you have already decided
05:12to buy a Samsung phone,
05:14then for Rs 42000,
05:16at the same price of Galaxy A56,
05:18you get Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.
05:20Which is much better in terms of
05:22performance, camera
05:24and almost in everything.
05:26If you want to buy a phone for your parents
05:28or grandparents who don't care much about performance
05:30but the phone should be durable
05:32with good software experience,
05:34long term updates guaranteed,
05:36service centre and customer support
05:38then for sure Galaxy A36 and A56
05:40are totally worth it for you.
05:42That's all for today's video.
05:44If you have any questions,
05:46you can ask them in the comment section.
05:48Till then I am Rishabh Jaiswal,
