00:00Four people were injured after a fire broke out in an apartment building in Manila.

00:04One senior citizen was there.

00:06Baya Pinlac has the first news.

00:12There was no fire, but a strong smoke woke up several families in an apartment building in Manila

00:18around 1 p.m. earlier this morning.

00:21A unit in the 3rd floor of Gusali, right in front of Santa Ana Fire Station, was on fire.

00:29We were sleeping, and my son was taking a bath.

00:32He just woke me up.

00:34He said it was on fire outside.

00:36When we went outside, our neighbor's house was on fire inside.

00:40It was just smoke, but there was no fire earlier.

00:44It was just smoke, a lot of smoke.

00:48When we went here, there was a lot of smoke in our house.

00:52It was very strong, and it hurt a lot because of the smell.

00:56According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, four people were injured because of the fire.

01:00Two women lost some parts of their bodies and were taken to the hospital.

01:06Two more people were also injured on Monday, including a senior citizen.

01:12We were called for rescue.

01:14We were firefighting.

01:16We rescued one of them from the door.

01:20He was unconscious.

01:22The other one was still in bed.

01:24The other one was minor.

01:26He also had smoke inhalation.

01:28The other one's finger was burned.

01:30The first alarm responded to the four firetrucks.

01:34It didn't take long before the BFP declared a fire-out.

01:38The initial cost of the fire was P15,000.

01:42It is still unknown where it came from.

01:44The other residents of Gusali were evacuated first.
