00:00I remember not really understanding what I guess he did. I knew that he sang and stuff,
00:18but I didn't realize the scope of it. And I think there was one day I was in the crowd
00:24watching and I was just like, I kind of looked around and he was on stage and it was kind
00:28of this moment like you're saying of, oh, they're here for him. Not just me here for
00:33him. They're all here for him. But again, he's always been very personable with fans
00:38and with all that. So that taught me a lot.
00:44I was in the show Growing Pains here in England and I played Abigail and I just recently saw
00:51for the first time the episodes.
01:21I haven't encountered someone saying physically to me, you have to lose weight for this part.
01:34I modeled for a while and it was more self-imposed, I think, that I wanted to fit this mold of
01:41what I thought perfect was. And I've been vocal about talking about that also in my
01:44book about reaching perfection and what I thought that meant. And I thought that kind
01:50of size dictated that and what was pretty to look at.
02:21I've been very vocal about the fact that I went through reading disorders as well and
02:25I think that to take a topic like this and make it mainstream in a way that doesn't caricaturize
02:31it, it doesn't tutorialize anything, it just breathes life into a subject matter that is
02:37considered quite taboo to talk about today. I just thought it would be a really therapeutic
02:41experience for me. Of course it was slightly terrifying as well, but at the end of the
02:47day to be able to say that I did it and to say that I got to tell that story in this
02:51manner, I was really proud. It was a pretty cool moment at the end of it.
