02:21many nations supported a moratorium on commercial whaling.
02:26South Africa was not one of the nations that did support this moratorium.
02:30It has been recommended by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources,
02:36an organization that represents more than a hundred nations.
02:40I thought it was rather unfortunate, both for the whales and for South Africa.
