00:00Young people listened to Donald Trump, to Bernie Sanders, and they said,
00:06yeah, democratic, that's good. Socialism, yeah, that's that social media stuff.
00:12Younger people are the future of this country.
00:16We don't need Medicare-for-all proposals that are more likely
00:19to re-elect Donald Trump than to expand coverage.
00:22Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege.
00:27I can't think of a ways that would make it easier for Donald Trump
00:30to get re-elected than listening to this conversation.
00:33It's ridiculous. We're not going to throw out capitalism.
00:38We tried that. Other countries tried that. It was called communism and it just didn't work.
00:43They may hate democratic socialism because it benefits working people,
00:50but they absolutely love corporate socialism that enriches Trump and other billionaires.
00:57What a wonderful country we have. The best known socialist in the country
01:01happens to be a millionaire with three houses. What'd I miss here?
01:04Mike Bloomberg owns more wealth than the bottom 125 million Americans.
01:11That's wrong. That's immoral. That should not be the case when we got a half a million people
01:16sleeping out on the street where we have kids who cannot afford to go to college.
01:21Should you have earned that much money?
01:24Yes. I worked very hard for it and I'm giving it away.
01:28I'm spending that money to get rid of Donald Trump, the worst president we have ever had.
01:34Billionaires in this country saw an $850 billion increase in their wealth.
01:40Congratulations, Mr. Bloomberg.
01:42But the average American last year saw less than a 1% increase in his or her income.
01:48That's wrong.
01:49Been very lucky, made a lot of money, and I'm giving it all away
01:52to make this country better. And a good chunk of it goes to the Democratic Party as well.
01:56We got a former mayor of New York City who has a record. Every reason in the
02:01world he's entitled to run for president. No problem with that. Smart guy.
02:06But he is spending hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars to buy the election.
02:12There is something wrong with that.
02:14You can join me at mikebloomberg.com too if you want, but I'm not asking for any money.
