Nearly 40,000 species could go extinct by 2080. That's if we don't manage to keep global warming below 2°C.

According to a recent study made by the WWF.

01:28looked at how a four degree temperature rise would affect almost 80,000 species and we
01:33found that almost half of these species could go extinct by the 2080s unless we act now.
01:38So we're working towards the Paris Agreement, which means that we'll just have a two degree
01:43global temperature rise. But we actually found that even if we kept this two degrees, we
01:48could lose 25% of species in these beautiful places around the world. So we need to do
01:53more and quicker.
