00:00We both lie, what I understand is they lied about the sport, I lied about the address.
00:05And I realized what was going on with the parents out in California, the actresses.
00:27I was like, Oh no, you know, cause I can imagine how they're feeling right now, but I didn't
00:32know all the details, but I'm thinking these are rich people, like they're super rich.
00:37Like, so I was so confused.
00:49I used my parents' address for them to enroll in that school, it's a very good school.
00:55They attended that school for two years.
00:57When I went to the school out there in my parents' district, they had land, they had
01:03acres of land, their curriculums were over the top.
01:06Their peers were peers of substance.
01:09To have your children amongst these people who are someone, they just automatically are
01:17going to be someone in life.
01:19It made me feel some kind of way.
01:21I felt so good that they could connect with young ladies of that caliber.
01:26Now, the school that I was living right down the street from, my daughters were bullied.
01:32When the bell rang to sit down for a curriculum, it would go 20 minutes before the instructor
01:37could settle the kids.
01:40It was just different.
01:53And so anything that I do now is absolutely an advocacy for children, but also, I also
01:59do things for my father and members of him because he was such, he has such a big heart
02:04for kids, for teens.
02:06We are in 2019, there's no way that we should be worried about having equality of education
02:27across the board.
02:29It shouldn't be this way.
02:30It should not be this way.
02:31I was wrong.
02:32You know what I'm saying?
02:33Like, I should not have enrolled my kids illegally into the school, but there's parents that
02:40are so scared about their kids going to the school with these kids who are mean or bullied
02:46or the academics are not where it needs to be.
02:48You know, since my situation, I still hear parents still doing that.
02:52We need to change and we need to really help build our communities back up and it starts
03:03with dealing with our kids.
03:05You do not ever have to be a product of which you were born into.
03:09And I don't know with the inner city kids, I don't know how many kids are really hearing
03:12that in this day and time, that they can be anything that they want to be, but they just
03:16have to know it.
