00:00I mean aren't you all tired? Aren't you all tired of this ridiculous fight for our basic rights?
00:07Can I get an amen?
00:11I'm just done asking for what I rightfully deserve, frankly,
00:15and I'm taking it back whether the patriarchy bloody likes it or not.
00:30I'm spending the rest of my life dedicated to making sure that young women don't go through what I went through,
00:37if I can possibly help them avoid it.
01:00I'm just done asking for what I rightfully deserve, frankly,
01:03and I'm taking it back whether the patriarchy bloody likes it or not.
01:07I'm just done asking for what I rightfully deserve, frankly,
01:10and I'm taking it back whether the patriarchy bloody likes it or not.
01:30The fact that girls are supporting other girls, that's so rare,
01:38and so I feel even more special for the fact that it was a public vote and the fact that it was women who chose me.
01:45Radio One is the best place I've ever worked in my entire life
01:48because everyone there treats you like an equal, they care what you look like, what you dress like.
01:51You walk in there with your brain and your talent.
02:00I refuse and I cannot and will not be told or pressured by anyone to believe
02:23that I owe it to anybody to be a particular shape or size.
02:31Don't listen to the word no. I've always been told no.
02:34I've always been told what my limits are even before I've even had the chance to try
02:38and that's so ridiculous and I have never obeyed anyone.
02:43I've always been disobedient and I've always made my own way and I'm still here.
03:00I'm still here.
03:30I've been here now for like three days but I'm still feeling amazing and super skinny.
03:50It's not just a community for friendship anymore, it's a marketplace, like a giant store
03:56and in that store are people who are desperately trying to sell you stuff
04:01and they will tell you whatever it is that they need to and they will hurt you in any way that they can
04:07to make you believe that you need to buy their products.
04:11They believe that people with low self-esteem buy more
04:15so they attack the way that you feel about yourselves all the time.
04:26You can rage against the system and still win and I hope that I can be an example of that.
