00:00I really do like my job and when it's, the more fun I have, the more fun I have and usually the
00:07more fun I have the better I am. So I've, I've been lucky. I mean I started in movies that you
00:12know cost nothing and I, I improvised my way through them and I just haven't stopped. The
00:18man is crazy and I love him. This is only one. He's, he's el numero uno. Bill Murray is perhaps
00:29our greatest American. He is beloved by all everywhere he goes.
00:45We were in New York. It was all New York and we really made a mess in New York for a couple of
00:50months and we rolled into places in those outfits and people thought, well I don't know, there must
00:55be somebody. You know it's sort of, it's like a sucker punch to the midsection. They don't,
01:05they don't really know how and why it's affecting the way it does. And people say I watch,
01:11I've seen Ghostbusters many, or sorry, I've seen Groundhog Day many, many times and I say,
01:16well does it just feel like you've seen it many, many times or have you really seen it?
01:20Because it's, it has a, it has a sort of a spellbinding quality.
01:33My friend makes wonderful movies and I'm very happy to be involved in it,
01:37no matter how big my part is. He has a wonderful way of looking at the world. That's what we like
01:42about people. That's what you like about people. That's what you like about a movie maker.
01:46He has a very unique way of looking at it.
01:53She really contacted every person I know and then, and over the period of about a year,
02:00she just kept, people, all my friends and acquaintances would say, you know,
02:04there's a script coming your way from Sofia Coppola. And I heard about it for months and
02:11months before it ever showed up. There was a lot of, there was a tsunami effect. And then
02:16when it finally came, I got about 15 pages. I was overwhelmed that there was so much, you know.
02:22But it's, it got a big buildup, but it was okay. It's worked out really well.
02:28I like the movie a lot. It's my favorite movie.
02:30I think we all are zombies from hour to hour. You know, we can be inside and we can be there,
02:44but we can be not there. We go away very quickly. And there's a lot of things,
02:48a lot of distractions to pull you away. And that's the job is to sort of, you know,
02:55keep the magnet of your attention within yourself, within your skin, so that you're,
03:00there's somebody home, the lights are on and there is someone home.
03:16You're fired.
