00:14Here we are in the Romanian countryside, and we're about to film the first shot of our movie.
00:20The Legend of Ochi is a movie that's set on a fictional island of Carpathia.
00:30It's about this young girl who comes across a mythical animal that's separated from its mother.

00:44As we were shooting, you could see all five puppeteers standing around in plain clothes,
00:49and if you looked at the puppet, you were like, that's a real living thing.
00:55As she begins this relationship, it kind of awakens her.
01:00She has to start acting on her own, incorporating what her parents taught her,
01:04and ultimately not needing them to understand, just to truly see who she's becoming.
01:09A father's greatest treasure is his daughter!
01:12This relationship would transform them and open them up to being able to communicate.
