00:00I'm really challenged as an actor in my role.

00:03And I'm so excited to see the hearts and viewers of my role.

00:12Isabel Ortega will play the role of Yana Cortez,

00:16a quirky, perky law student that is full of positivity.

00:22Actually, first of all, I used to be a law student.

00:26So I fulfilled my dream of continuing my law school.

00:32So at least here in Slay, I experienced a lot.

00:34And I also learned a lot about criminal procedures

00:38because of what happened to Zack.

00:41But apart from that, I can relate to Yana

00:43because she has such a positive outlook in life.

00:46And no matter what happens to her,

00:49no matter what she goes through,

00:51she's still very positive.

00:52And she always looks at the brighter side.

00:54And I feel like I'm the same.

00:56So I love the positivity of Yana.

01:01And I also love how she treasures her friendship with her friends.

01:06We'll see in this show what she'll do

01:10when she has a big challenge.

01:12It's not different from my other roles.

01:15It's big.

01:16I think this is my first time doing a show with this kind of genre.

01:22I mean, the last time I did a show,

01:26I was a part of a robot.

01:27So I feel like it's really different from my past roles.

01:32You know, from being a superhero,

01:35from being someone who saves the world,

01:38you're now in a role where you might have killed someone.

01:42You'll find out who killed someone.

01:45So I just love the shift.

01:47And I'm really challenging myself as an actor in my role.

01:50And I'm so excited that our viewers will get to see my new role.

01:57A new side.

01:59I was shocked.

02:00I mean, I didn't expect that I'd do a show like this.

02:06And something that tackles so many relevant issues

02:11in our generation.

02:13I feel like this is something that I haven't seen before.

02:16Because most of the people and most of the shows that we see

02:20usually revolves around a guy who was killed.

02:25Or it revolves around, you know,

02:27for example,

02:28in the more mature ages that are really capable

02:34and you'll think that they can think of killing someone.

02:37But for my generation,

02:41you know, very young, very youthful,

02:43very starting in their lives,

02:45you wouldn't think that someone could actually be involved in something so big and so bad.

02:54So for me, I feel like this is a huge step for me.

03:01And it's very exciting because it's definitely a new thing.
