00:00So what was kind of your relationship with the games before this?
00:03I played a bit of the first game in lockdown and I got really scared.
00:08I got really scared and upset and I couldn't keep playing.
00:11So of course I then had to completely immerse myself in the world.
00:15But that's just really effective storytelling.
00:16The way that this game connects you to its characters and the stakes
00:20and the horror of it all I thought was brilliant.
00:23So I was really excited to jump into season two.
00:27I haven't played the second game still.
00:28I was told not to.
00:29I was explicitly told not to.
00:31So I don't feel bad about it.
00:33Why was that?

00:34I think reasons I can't say.

00:41I mean and if the show and the game, I mean very dark, very kind of grueling.
00:46How did you kind of get in and out of that?
00:50Well the beautiful thing about the set environment that we were in
00:53is that it was so warm and welcoming and friendly
00:56that when things got really heavy or intense it was just you felt so safe and cared for.
01:02I think in the past when I was younger I would have tried to stay in it as long as possible
01:06and I don't think that's totally sustainable, at least for me.
01:09And this was the first time working with people who were laughing and joking in between
01:13setups and then can lock in, can focus.
01:16And it really does just allow you to access something because you feel so safe.
01:21Yeah.
01:21And how do you feel like this season compares to the first?
01:24It's bigger.
01:25It's big.
01:27Yeah, that's it.

01:31The scale of it is wow.
01:33And it's a lot more of all the good of the first season.
