00:00Good morning, good morning.
00:10I'm sure you've seen President Trump has just put out a statement that he has appointed
00:14me as the interim U.S. attorney for the state of New Jersey, my home state.
00:19As you know, I've stood by President Trump, his family, the organization, and many other
00:22clients in that state where I've been born and raised, and I'm raising my babies now.
00:27But there is corruption.
00:29There is injustice, and there is a heavy amount of crime right in Cory Booker's backyard
00:34and right under Governor Murphy, and that will stop.
00:37I look forward to working with Pam Bondi and with the Department of Justice and making
00:40sure that we further the president's agenda of putting America first, cleaning up mess,
00:45and going after the people that we should be going after, not the people that are falsely
00:50accused.
00:51That will stop in the great state of New Jersey starting now.
00:53Thank you so much.
00:54Who are the people that you want to go after?
00:55We'll see when I get in there.
00:57We've got to see what's going in.
00:59I know you'd love that narrative.
01:00Let me be very clear.
01:01You mentioned politics.
01:02I didn't, actually.
01:03Cory Booker and Governor Murphy.
01:04Correct, because I think Cory Booker and Governor Murphy have failed the state of New Jersey.
01:09If you look at what happened in crime, what's going on in Newark, what's going on in Camden,
01:13this has been a neglected state.
01:15It is one of the most populated states for its size, and it needs to stop.
01:20We're going to do a bang-up job.
01:21I cannot wait.
01:22It's a great honor.
01:23How long have you been here?
01:24Thank you very much.
01:25Do you have any more information on this U.S. attorney who died?
01:29Did she die of natural causes?
01:31No, I do not at that time, but I do pray for her family and I hope she rests in peace.
01:34That was tragic.
01:35Why is your name so relevant?
01:36I will be leaving the White House soon and going to New Jersey to serve in my current
01:40role and my new role.
01:41I mean, who isn't at a statewide admission?
01:44Thank you all so much.
01:47I'm excited.
01:48I'll see you in Jersey.
01:49Why didn't you appoint me permanently?
