00:28The first question is for Paolo.
00:30You mentioned in the press con of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim
00:33that you're willing to do a movie with Kim and maybe even co-produce it.
00:37Now that you have your new movie, we saw on the poster that you're one of the EPs.
00:42Can you share how it happened and how involved are you in the creative process?
00:46Well, me being one of the producers of this film, a lot of it is more back-end.
00:56It's actually more back-end.
00:58But on the creative side, I'm very hands-on when it comes to the material,
01:03when it comes to improving it and how to make it as grounded as possible.
01:07But it wasn't really a lot of work.
01:09We have very good creatives in Star Cinema.
01:13And also with the help of our director, Chad Vidanes,
01:17I think it was easier than what I expected.
01:20That was a very deep first question.
01:22Thank you for diving right into it.
01:24So for Kim, it's a bit lighter.
01:26Will you fall in love with Jolo's character in real life as Kim Choo?
01:31As Kim Choo?
01:33I don't think it's hard to fall in love with Jolo.
01:38As long as he doesn't disappear.

02:34I have a pet dog, but I don't rely on it that much.
02:39All of my decisions in life are based on it.
02:44So it's a real guinea pig.
02:46What was it like acting with it?
02:48It's really weird.
02:49As in weird.
02:50There's a scene where it's very dramatic in the rain.
02:55And the guinea pig is there.
02:57I was really shocked.
03:00I asked myself, why am I doing this?

03:03But it's done by Sari, not Kim Choo.

03:08But her screen name is Cookie.
03:11Her real name is Peanut.
03:12She's Peanut in real life.

03:20Let's talk about your characters more.
03:22How would you describe them?
03:23Because right now, nonchalant and O.A. are popular.
03:26So is your character more of the O.A. type or the cool and nonchalant?
03:30Is that real life?
03:31Nonchalant and O.A.
03:34I wouldn't say my character here is nonchalant.
03:37Because we only showed a few of them in our trailers.
03:41Two trailers that came out.
03:43But I would say my character is in the middle of both.
03:46Just right.
03:48But the real life of the movie, I would say, is Sari and Cookie.
03:56I'm really O.A.
03:57Oh, really O.A.
03:57In real life too.
03:58Just kidding.
04:00But the community here, when they watch the film, they're also O.A.
04:04So where Sari lives, in the world, they're also O.A.
04:08So for Paolo, you've always been vocal that you love receiving letters
04:12rather than expensive gifts from your supporters.
04:15This is actually a question from a very big fan.
04:18And it warms your heart to see that you really mean a lot to them.
04:21As a mental health advocate also, what's your advice to people
04:25who are somehow like Jolo, who want to disappear?
04:28Okay, let's tackle the first question first.
04:31Well, the reason why I don't like receiving gifts is because...
04:36I have two reasons why.
04:40I feel like there are more important things in a person's life
04:44that they can spend or spend to help in other ways.
04:52Maybe for charity or whatever it is.
04:57Or maybe your family members, just give them something.
04:59And the second one is, the things I like are very specific.
05:03So I don't want to waste their gift because I won't use it
05:08or I'll just accept it because they gave it to me.
05:10If there's one thing that I could receive or get from them
05:14that I would treasure, and I would read the letters.
05:19There's something about letters that's very personal.
05:21And when you get to read it, you get a glimpse of what they think
05:26or how they feel.
05:28Tackling the second question, my advice for people who are going
05:34through what Jolo went through.
05:36I would say I've been through very dark times in my life,
05:41similar with what Jolo has gone through.
05:44There's this Filipino saying, and I keep repeating this
05:47in all my interviews, and I truly believe it.
05:51The saying is, habang may buhay, may pag-asa.
05:54Also, the reason why I'm emphasizing on it is because sometimes
05:58you just have to live life, go through life.
06:01And while you go through life, then you can find answers.
06:04If you put a period without going through the whole bonanza,
06:10then how would you know if there are ways out or answers
06:14to your questions or how would you solve the problems
06:21you're going through?
06:22So let's just really go through life.
06:26Just live it out, and you'll eventually find answers.
06:29So you'll eventually see that the problems you're going through
06:34aren't really that big of a deal.
06:36You really have to go through it talaga, and see it through.
06:40So for Kim naman, I guess what you learned then sa character mo?
06:44Sa tingin mo ano dapat yung gawin ni Sari para yung love
06:48hindi magdisappear?
06:49Is it an internal thing?
06:51Is it an external factor?
06:54Does she even control it?
06:56I think yung love para hindi magdisappear?
07:00Um, may hirap sabihin eh.
07:04Kasi, for Sari ba to or for myself?
07:07Kasi nawalaan lahat.

07:10So I really don't know kung anong isang sagot ko dyan.

07:20Kasi sa movie, she believed that she's been cursed.

08:02So, if your characters could give relationship advice to Gen Z today,
08:07what do you think they would say about love and dating?
08:09Kasi Gen Z are very, you know, picky sila eh.
08:12Parang, but also at the same time, ang dami na rin yung options, diba?
08:15May mga internet dating na, ang dami ng ways to meet new people.
08:19What do you think your film characters, or maybe you,
08:22what advice do you think would Gen Z benefit from?
08:28For me, learn to love yourself more.
08:31Medyo cliché yung word.
08:34Pero when you love yourself, parang you won't beg for love.
08:40Kung alam mo yung priority mo and yung self-worth mo,
08:44you won't keep asking for love na,
08:46please love me, please love me.
08:48Alam mo kung ano yung deserve mo.
08:51And at the same time, learn how to compromise also.
08:55Kasi yung love naman is not really perfect.
08:57It's a work in progress.
09:00Para hindi naman lahat ng hinihingi mo, mabibigay diba?
09:02Yes, parang gusto ko ganito, gusto ko ganyan.
