"The star suite" was the only album released by Patch, an Australian studio project engineered by Peter Dawkins who gathered together Australian musicians and conceived the all instrumental concept album based on four tracks, each representing one of the four basic elements of the Zodiac (air, fire, water, earth). Gentle and elaborated atmospheres, featuring heavy acoustic contents, some jazzy keyboards and mellow electric guitars swirling around orchestral fusion and light psychedelic overtones.
