00:11State Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Hamzah Ahmad said two local men, aged 20 and 27,
00:17were arrested during three raids conducted in central and northern Seberang Perai on
00:22Saturday and Sunday.
00:24During the operations, officers confiscated 1,938 packets of MDMA powder weighed 38 kilograms
00:32and valued at 6.42 million ringgit.
00:36Police also seized 24 packets of heroin crystals, along with two packets of shabu crystals and
00:41a packet of ketamine.
00:44Investigations reveal the syndicate has been active since the start of the year.
00:47Commissioner Hamzah said both suspects, who have prior criminal and drug-related convictions,
00:53tested negative for drugs.
00:54They have been remanded for a week until March 29 to assist in further investigations under
01:00Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
