00:06You can help her not lose her money and nerves if you solve some tricky riddles.

00:12Amanda meets two realtors who are showing her houses.

00:15One of them is a real professional and the other is a scammer.

00:19Can you help her figure out who's who?

00:29Realtor A has a stack of blank papers and keys that clearly fit padlocks, must be a

00:34scammer.

00:35He's trying to create the illusion of professionalism.

00:39Realtor B works for a real agency and doesn't pressure clients into rushed deals.

00:43That's why she doesn't carry unnecessary paperwork or house keys during property viewings.

00:52Amanda inspected the house that was offered to her.

00:54The only thing that felt off was the windows in the house were covered with blackout curtains.

01:00When Amanda asked why, the realtor replied that the owners prefer privacy.

01:05It sounded legit enough but Amanda still decided not to buy the property, why?

01:19When she peeked behind the curtains, she saw that a brick factory and a railway track were

01:23right outside with noise and pollution just under her nose.

01:27The curtains were just there to hide it.

01:32Amanda is looking at two houses listed by a realtor.

01:35They're similar but one of them seems suspicious.

01:38Which one?

01:48House B is suspicious, a nest under the roof, mold under the door, and a crack in the door

01:53frame are clear signs the house has not been maintained for a long time and needs serious

01:59repairs.

02:00It's beige now which could mean it was once white but hasn't been washed or painted

02:06in years.

02:10Amanda met with a realtor and he gave her an interesting task to figure out the right

02:14house number.

02:16It's a two-digit number where the first digit is the number of corners of a typical rectangular

02:21house.

02:22The second digit is the number of arms an octopus has.

02:26What is the house number?

02:35A rectangular house has four corners, an octopus has eight arms.

02:40The house number is 48.

02:45Just like Amanda doesn't need to buy a house at all, she receives an email that she inherited

02:49some property from her uncle.

02:52But after looking at it in detail, she realizes it's a scam.

03:17Amanda arrives at the office of a new real estate agency.

04:12Amanda is about to pay it but something stops her.

05:18There are three suspects, Bill and Jane who work at the agency, and Rick, a former partner

05:23who came to pick up some papers.

05:34It must have been Bill.

05:35Look at his laptop.

05:36It's covered by post-it notes saying, revenge.

05:40It turns out the boss told him he had two weeks to finish all his deals and quit, because

05:45he wasn't the most efficient employee.

05:50Neighbors can make a huge difference, so Amanda needs to choose carefully.

05:54There's a friendly old couple living right next to the first house she likes.

05:58The second option is a family with two teenage kids.

06:02Next to the third house of her choice, there's a home of a super secretive painter.

06:06Who looks like the best neighbor?

06:16The old couple must be hiding someone in the basement.

06:19There's loud music coming from the house where teenagers live.

06:22Looks like the quiet painter is the best option.

06:28It's time to make the final choice.

06:30The first house is in a nice location and is way more affordable than the second one.

06:35The second house is smaller but more expensive and is a bit further away from the city center.

06:40But Amanda still chooses the second house.

06:43Can you tell why?

06:53You can see in the photo of the first house that it's actually made of wood and the bricks

06:57are just wallpapers on top.

07:00Who knows what other secrets this house is hiding?

07:05The real estate agency offers a good discount to whoever guesses the name of their founder.

07:10The hint says, the 1st of April, the 3rd of February, the last of September, the 4th

07:16of July.

07:17Can you help Amanda get the discount?

07:28The message is a secret code.

07:30The 1st of April means the letter A, the 3rd of February means the letter B, the last letter

07:35of September is R, and the 4th letter of July is Y.

07:44Amanda got so busy looking for a house that she didn't have time to see her boyfriend

08:54Driver A has an oil leak under the truck and a dent on it and his tires seem worn.
