Raquel Laguna/ SUCOPRESS. Starring Michele Morrone (365 Days, Subservience), William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia saga, The Royals), Thai-Norwegian actress Yaya Urassaya Sperbund (Brother of the Year, Fast And Feel Love), and K-Pop/K-Drama star Alexander Lee (Moorin School: Saga of the Brave, My Korean Jagiya), the film is set for release this April. 00:00In any other adaptation, there is always a challenge of what you tell, what you don't tell.
00:04You only have two hours to tell a story versus a game that has been around for seven different
00:09versions. So stripping down the story and telling it in a way that will be
00:17interesting for the audience to follow. We actually end up telling a story and we decided
00:24we're going to tell the story in a way where in the first movie we will introduce the characters
00:31and the world and hopefully on the second and the third movie we will dive in deeper
00:36and starting to strip down those characters and explaining to the audience the motivation of each
00:41character and why they're doing what they're doing. I think specifically for this genre,
00:47it's very rare that you see a movie that is a horror movie with more than 600 visual effect
00:53shots. The world that we have created here is giving the audience a fantastic experience
00:59that they usually would not experience in a typical horror movie, which is very gory but
01:06bloody but rather contained. This story, Home Sweet Home Rebirth, allows the audience to travel into
01:15different realities and experience action sequences and creatures and real
01:25persons also suffering from those terrible consequences of being in the wrong time in
01:32the wrong place. So I think our movie is extremely unique in that sense. I have a fantastic relationship
01:38with the director, so the collaboration was very friendly, very mutual. We were looking,
01:45obviously, ultimately like any other producers and director, you're looking for the best possible
01:50actor for the role. I think that we end up with a very unique cast. Michele Morelni,
01:58that doesn't really usually this type of role, he plays a unique role in this movie that he's
02:04the evil, he's the villain in the movie, if you will. William Mosley brings that
02:11fatherhood, dramatic type of character. And Alex from Korea brings more of the mystical side of
02:21the world together with Yaya from Southeast Asia. So when they start reading for the role,
02:28I mean, we just looked at them like, OK, this is the one, this is who we're looking for.
02:33I think you can expect from this film an extended world to the game because the game is rather
02:41contained and time could be claustrophobic. The movie is a lot bigger than that, that allows you
02:49to travel into those different realities, experience different things, including the sound
02:57and the music that has to be, you know, has to do a huge part of it. So they can experience a
03:05journey of horror and nonstop action and a lot of scares. We have discussed this as we start
03:16introducing the world. We always thought, you know, we are going to plant the seeds of the
03:22story in the first movie, that hopefully we're going to be able to let them grow on the second
03:27and third movie and expand the world, expand the character. That's certainly the idea,
03:33and that's a big wish of mine to be able to do that.
