Going viral is addictive… you watch your social media numbers sky rocket at an unnatural speed, so many new potential clients, a fresh audience, it's amazing! But the real question is how do you create those viral worthy videos?!

In today's video I am going to share all the tricks I've used to create my viral content on instagram, tiktok and YT shorts.

To start, I should preface that “viral” is a subjective term. So I will share that, personally, I consider over 1 million views on a video “viral”. We have had 30 plus videos over a million so I can confirm that these tricks work.

So the first thing we should discuss is the type of content you can make. Focus on making content that is educational, relatable, emotional or just purely entertaining. Or better yet, post a mix!

Which brings me to my next point, mix it up! Play around with shorter or longer videos, more text or less text. Especially when you're first starting out. This will be a good experiment to see what your audience prefers with the content you're sharing.

I also highly recommend being a consumer on the platform. This will help you stay up to date on current trends & give you ideas for your own videos. Plus I think a great rule of thumb for creating good content is looking at it from a consumer's point of view- do you like it? Are you entertained as the consumer?

Now let's talk about the 2 things that will help the algorithm push your video to more people! First, using trending songs- when a song is “trending” the algorithms push your content to other users on the platform.

The best ways to find trending songs are either to scroll on the for you page or to look through the selection of songs in the “music” section of the creators page (for all platforms). You will know if a song is trending by looking for the little diagonal arrow next to the song title.

The second thing is having a “catch” within the first 2-3 sec of your video because this is the amount of time it takes the average viewer to decide if they're going to continue to watch or scroll to the next video. We live in a world of fast paced content!

So what is a catch? It is essentially something in your video that will grab the viewer's attention. It could be something as simple as movement in your video.

Such as a slow-motion clip, this adds build up & makes the viewer want to see how it is going to end. Or it could be the text on your video such as “wait for it..”. You could also utilise specific songs, especially trending ones, that have a beat drop. If the song is trending, it's likely the viewer has heard it before so they are anticipating the beat drop which peaks their interest of what is going to happen in the video in correspondence to the drop. Get creative with it & find out which “catch” will work best for your content!

So I've explained WHAT we do to go viral on insta, tiktok & YT but if you want to learn exactly HOW we translate those new followers into potential clients, check out our online co

00:00I think that we can all agree that going viral is addictive. You watch your social media numbers
00:04skyrocket, so many new potential clients, so many new followers, a fresh audience, it's amazing.
00:10But the real question is, is how do we create those viral worthy videos? In today's video,
00:15I'm going to share all the tricks I've learned on how to create the viral worthy content on
00:19Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts because really it's all quite similar. To start, I should
00:24preface that viral is a pretty subjective term. So for me personally, a viral video is anything
00:31over a million views. And we have had over 30 plus videos with over a million views,
00:36so I can confirm that these tricks do in fact work. So first, let's discuss the type of content
00:41you can make. Focus on making content that is educational, relatable, emotional, or just plain
00:46entertaining. Or better yet, post a mix. Which brings me to my next point, which is mix it up.
00:51Post shorter videos, longer videos, videos with more text or less text, especially when you're
00:57first starting out. This will be a good test to see what your audience prefers with the content
01:01that you're producing. I also highly recommend being a consumer on any of the platforms that
01:06you're using. This will help you stay up to date on all the current trends and give you ideas for
01:10your own videos. Plus, I think a great rule of thumb for creating good content is looking at
01:16it from a consumer's point of view. Do you like the video? As a consumer, are you entertained?
01:21If you don't like the content yourself, how do you expect other people on the platform to like it?
01:25Okay, so let's talk about the two things that will help the algorithms push your content to more
01:30people. First is using trending sounds. When a song or sound is trending, the algorithms will
01:36actually push your content to more users. And the best ways to find the trending sounds or songs on
01:42any of the platforms is scrolling on the For You page, looking at other people's content,
01:46or going directly into the music section on the creator's page and seeing what songs are trending
01:52the most. You will know if a song is trending if there's a little diagonal arrow next to the song
01:57title. The second thing is having a catch within the first two to three seconds of your video
02:02because this is the average time it takes a viewer to decide if they're going to watch the entire
02:06video or scroll down to the next one. We live in a world of fast-paced content. So what is a catch?
02:13It is essentially something in your video that will grab and hold the viewer's attention. And it
02:17could be something as simple as movement. For example, a slow motion video has a lot of buildup
02:23and it usually holds people's attention because they want to see what it's building up to. Or you
02:28could utilize text in your video, such as adding something along the lines of wait for it or just
02:33wait till you see these photos or wait till the end, things like that. You can also create a catch
02:38by using specific songs, especially trending ones that have a beat drop. If a song is trending,
02:43it's likely that the viewer has heard it before and they're kind of anticipating what's going to
02:47happen to go along with that trend. Especially if there's a beat drop, then they're expecting
02:52something to happen at that beat drop. And this will hold their attention until the end of the
02:56video. Basically, a catch is playing on people's curiosity. So get creative with it and find what
03:02works best for you and your content. I've explained what we do to go viral on Instagram, TikTok,
03:08and YouTube shorts, but if you want to learn exactly how we translate all those new followers
