00:00:00Bismillah-e-Rahman-e-Rahim, Assalam-o-Alaikum.
00:00:11In the evening of Ramadhan, we, Sadaf Abdul Jabbar and Saim Khan, welcome you.
00:00:18As usual, throughout Ramadhan, you are with us.
00:00:21Today is the 21st of Ramadan and Ramadhan is passing by very quickly.
00:00:25We are ready to say goodbye.
00:00:27We will discuss with you the updates and news related to Ramadhan.
00:00:38Absolutely.
00:00:39As Eid is nearing and the days are passing by,
00:00:43you know that we have to look for a place to spend the night.
00:00:50Also, as Eid is nearing, there is a rush in the market.
00:00:55People will go out for shopping.
00:00:57And the inflation is causing a lot of trouble.
00:01:00Have you shopped for Eid, Saim?
00:01:02How can I shop for such an inflation?
00:01:04I will wear the same clothes for Eid. What else can I do?
00:01:07You will have to change something.
00:01:09But people are really worried.
00:01:11The inflation is really high.
00:01:13If we talk about the last decade,
00:01:15as Saim said, when Eid is nearing, there is a rush in the markets.
00:01:20Now, what happens is that the inflation,
00:01:22which was being claimed during Ramadhan,
00:01:25that this time the inflation will not increase.
00:01:28In fact, we were being told that the inflation has reduced now.
00:01:31But if you go to the markets, the price of everything is reasonable.
00:01:35The government is telling us some more numbers.
00:01:38And the shopkeepers.
00:01:39And now you are getting prices area-wise.
00:01:42The prices are varying.
00:01:43The defense markets will be different.
00:01:46If you go to the chicken market, it will be different.
00:01:49Now, this is the situation.
00:01:50Now, let me tell you about chicken.
00:01:53For the past few days, we were seeing that there was a lot of fluctuation.
00:01:57It is being sold for Rs. 750 per kilo.
00:02:00Whereas, boneless meat is for Rs. 1300.
00:02:04So, this is the situation.
00:02:05The arrangements are completely missing.
00:02:07Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners are not being seen printing anywhere.
00:02:10No one is being seen dealing with the beneficiaries.
00:02:14And in a holy month like Ramadhan,
00:02:16where the people should be given relief,
00:02:18they should be given a lot of relief.
00:02:19They should be helped.
00:02:20There, every shopkeeper is selling their product at their own expense.
00:02:26And Saim, we kept hearing for the whole month
00:02:29that the Commissioner has formed a committee.
00:02:32He has also formed a team.
00:02:33There is a team.
00:02:34And the section officer was also given work.
00:02:37I don't know if anyone saw that section officer or not.
00:02:40Whenever we tried to find out from our reporters,
00:02:43they say that they didn't see him.
00:02:45And the Commissioner himself is not visible to us.
00:02:48We try to contact him.
00:02:50He is a very busy person.
00:02:51He is not able to take out time.
00:02:52Okay.
00:02:53I think he is very busy.
00:02:54Okay, you talked about chicken.
00:02:56Now, let me tell you about goat meat.
00:02:58Goat meat is for Rs. 2200 to Rs. 2400 per kilo.
00:03:05And big goat meat is being sold for Rs. 1600 per kilo.
00:03:09There are different rates for each area and shop.
00:03:12And no one is asking.
00:03:13No one is there to scrutinize you.
00:03:16This big one is for Rs. 1600 to Rs. 1800.
00:03:19And no one is asking.
00:03:20And no one is asking.
00:03:21Now, the goat meat is also for Rs. 2600.
00:03:23So, this is the whole situation.
00:03:25And what should the people do in this?
00:03:27And think, at such a time,
00:03:28guests have to come to people's homes.
00:03:31After that, you have to arrange for lunch and dinner for them.
00:03:34And everyone wants it.
00:03:35Because Eid is coming.
00:03:36So, people should be treated well for their guests.
00:03:39Now, let's go to the reporters.
00:03:41Anwar Khan is with us.
00:03:42We will know from Anwar.
00:03:43Anwar, tell us that in Dasrath, there was chicken.
00:03:51No, there was not.
00:03:52But what happened in the holy month?
00:03:54That the prices of chicken suddenly became out of control.
00:03:58And a normal, average household
00:04:01is not able to afford the prices of chicken.
00:04:03But still, it was pocket-friendly.
00:04:05What happened in Ramadan?
00:04:09When we talk to the administration,
00:04:12they tell us that there is a difference between demand and supply.
00:04:15Which is the main reason.
00:04:17And the administration is telling us that
00:04:19demand is high and supply is low.
00:04:21And because of the difference in demand and supply,
00:04:23the price of chicken has gone up.
00:04:25The prices of chicken have gone up.
00:04:27In the same way, Ramadan has started.
00:04:31And in the third week of Ramadan,
00:04:33there was a series of extreme prices.
00:04:35And the administration was responsible
00:04:37for controlling the situation.
00:04:39If you want to buy chicken,
00:04:41you will get it for Rs. 550.
00:04:43With the liver and stomach.
00:04:45You will get it for Rs. 750 to Rs. 800.
00:04:48And if you want boneless chicken,
00:04:50you will get it for Rs. 1300 to Rs. 1400 per kg.
00:04:52And if you want to know the price of goat,
00:04:54the price of goat meat is Rs. 2600 to Rs. 2800 per kg.
00:04:57The market where I am present,
00:04:59which is a vegetable market,
00:05:01and also a meat market,
00:05:03the price of goat is Rs. 2800 per kg.
00:05:07The price is Rs. 2600 to Rs. 2800 per kg.
00:05:09And if you want to buy goat leg,
00:05:11you will get it for Rs. 3000.
00:05:13You will get 12 legs.
00:05:15And the weight of each leg is 1 kg.
00:05:17And if you want to talk about meat,
00:05:20the price of goat meat is Rs. 1800 to Rs. 1900 per kg.
00:05:24And if you want to buy boneless meat,
00:05:26the price varies from Rs. 1600 to Rs. 1500 per kg.
00:05:30The fundamental responsibility is
00:05:32that the price of meat should be kept in an orderly fashion.
00:05:36Anwar, tell me one thing.
00:05:38Commissioner Karachi had announced
00:05:40that he has formed a committee.
00:05:42The section officers will go to different markets,
00:05:45and will look at the rates.
00:05:47And according to the government,
00:05:49the shopkeepers will be forced to pay.
00:05:51Otherwise, there will be fines as well.
00:05:53Tell me, where are the fines?
00:05:55Have you seen any section officer?
00:05:59Just like there is a friendly opposition
00:06:01in the parliament,
00:06:03similarly, in Karachi,
00:06:05there is a friendly activity
00:06:07between the district officials
00:06:09and the markets.
00:06:11There is no doubt about it.
00:06:13There is a friendly activity
00:06:15between the district officials
00:06:17and the markets.
00:06:19There are fines of Rs. 200,000 to Rs. 200,000,
00:06:21and fines of Rs. 3,00,000 to Rs. 4,00,000 per day.
00:06:23It is not a big deal.
00:06:25But in an orderly fashion,
00:06:27in the last days of Ramadan,
00:06:29in an orderly fashion,
00:06:31from the time of eating and drinking
00:06:33to the time of eating meat,
00:06:35there are fines as high as
00:06:37the amount of salt in the flour.
00:06:39Or we see section officers.
00:06:41Or the commissioner himself
00:06:43visiting the market.
00:06:49Look, there is an orderly fashion
00:06:51in the administration.
00:06:53There are fines as well.
00:06:55But the fundamental question is
00:06:57that the administration should
00:06:59control the situation.
00:07:01The situation is under control.
00:07:03Instead of controlling the situation,
00:07:05the market tells us that
00:07:07on the one hand,
00:07:09you have to control the situation
00:07:11So Anwar, tell us
00:07:13what is the fundamental reason
00:07:15for the increase in prices?
00:07:17What is the reason
00:07:19for the increase in prices?
00:07:21Look, Ramadan is going on.
00:07:23In Ramadan, everyone is fasting.
00:07:25People are fasting.
00:07:27There is no meat consumption.
00:07:29It is not even a matter of fasting.
00:07:31Then why are the prices increasing?
00:07:33Look, in Ramadan,
00:07:35the real situation is that
00:07:37in the month of Ramadan,
00:07:39there are people who
00:07:41provide free biryani
00:07:43to the people of the city.
00:07:45And right now,
00:07:47the last ten days of Ramadan
00:07:49have started.
00:07:51In the last ten days of Ramadan,
00:07:53meat is provided to people
00:07:55in all the mosques
00:07:57in the city from
00:07:59Aftar to Sehri.
00:08:01Certainly, when
00:08:03chicken and beef biryani
00:08:05is provided,
00:08:07there is a difference
00:08:09in demand and supply.
00:08:11But despite the difference
00:08:13in demand and supply,
00:08:15as I said earlier,
00:08:17those people are
00:08:19being divided in an organized way.
00:08:21Thank you very much, Anwar Khan.
00:08:23You were updating us on the situation.
00:08:25The month of Ramadan is about to end.
00:08:27But still,
00:08:29the claims of
00:08:31setting up a cheap market
00:08:33in Quetta by the district administration
00:08:35have not been implemented.
00:08:37Yes, the cheap market has not been set up.
00:08:39Only essential items are available
00:08:41for iftar in the cheap markets
00:08:43of the name.
00:08:45Thank you very much for
00:08:47updating us, Anwar.
00:08:49Now we will know the details
00:08:51from Atiya Akram.
00:08:53The second ten days of the month
00:08:55of Ramadan are about to end.
00:08:57The district administration
00:08:59has made a joke with the poor
00:09:01in the name of a cheap market.
00:09:03As it is, all the stalls are empty.
00:09:05Even today, we thought
00:09:07to go to this market.
00:09:09Today, we may have seen
00:09:11a wave of happiness in the public.
00:09:13But when we came here,
00:09:15the poor and the middle class
00:09:17were also shocked.
00:09:19The reason for this is that
00:09:21the condition of the cheap market
00:09:23is the same.
00:09:25Empty stalls are being
00:09:27offered to the public.
00:09:29Vegetable stalls are present
00:09:31in the cheap market.
00:09:33But the vegetables are
00:09:35more expensive than the market
00:09:37and are in a very bad condition.
00:09:39Along with that, the citizens
00:09:41say that they come here
00:09:43every day with great hope
00:09:45that they may get a stall
00:09:47of sugar, milk and
00:09:49rations.
00:09:51And they may see that
00:09:53one of the claims
00:09:55made by the government
00:09:57is true.
00:09:59If the government can't
00:10:01provide relief,
00:10:03then at least don't make
00:10:05such jokes with the citizens.
00:10:07You can see how desolate
00:10:09it is here.
00:10:11There are no things here.
00:10:13The things that need to be
00:10:15purchased are not available.
00:10:17Why will people come here?
00:10:19What is the use of showing
00:10:21that we have set up a cheap market
00:10:23when you can't even provide it to the people?
00:10:25The vegetables that were lying there
00:10:27were not in a good condition
00:10:29to be used.
00:10:31There was no fan there.
00:10:33There was no environment
00:10:35to keep the vegetables safe.
00:10:37It was a very bad situation.
00:10:39Saim, this is not a small city.
00:10:41Quetta is a big city.
00:10:43What is the situation there?
00:10:45We are taking you to Bhimber.
00:10:47What will be the situation there?
00:10:49I have heard that the situation
00:10:51there is also bad.
00:10:53The prices of chicken are
00:10:55very high.
00:10:57Raja Mohsin is reporting to us.
00:10:59The second half of the month
00:11:01is approaching its end.
00:11:03The price of chicken has
00:11:05become uncontrollable.
00:11:07I am in Bhimber, Azad,
00:11:09Kashmir.
00:11:11The prices of chicken
00:11:13are skyrocketing.
00:11:15When I spoke
00:11:17to the shopkeepers,
00:11:19they said that the supply
00:11:21of chicken is high.
00:11:23The shopkeepers said
00:11:25that the supply of chicken
00:11:27has become uncontrollable.
00:11:29The shopkeepers
00:11:31of other shops
00:11:33are also saying
00:11:35that the district administration
00:11:37and the price control committees
00:11:39are checking and balancing
00:11:41the prices of fruits and vegetables.
00:11:43The shopkeepers are saying
00:11:45that they should play
00:11:47an important role in controlling
00:11:49the prices of chicken.
00:11:51The prices of fruits and vegetables
00:11:53are out of control.
00:11:55Retailers are selling
00:11:57whatever they want.
00:11:59They are selling vegetables
00:12:01and chickens.
00:12:03It is a pity
00:12:05that we are not seeing
00:12:07any deputy commissioners
00:12:09in the market.
00:12:11As such, we are not
00:12:13seeing any action.
00:12:15The prices of fruits and vegetables
00:12:17are skyrocketing.
00:12:19Retailers are selling
00:12:21ready-made clothes
00:12:23at a high price.
00:12:25Sugar is also disappearing.
00:12:27If sugar is available,
00:12:29it will be so expensive
00:12:31that it will weigh more than
00:12:33sugar.
00:12:35Only the workers
00:12:37are being forced to work.
00:12:39Middle class people
00:12:41are being forced to work.
00:12:43The tax that we have to pay
00:12:45on these people
00:12:47is different from the tax
00:12:49that we have to pay on GST.
00:12:51The tax that we have to pay
00:12:53on our salaries
00:12:55is different from the tax
00:12:57that we have to pay
00:12:59on GST.
00:13:01Let us give you
00:13:03some updates.
00:13:05The PTI member,

00:16:47Qazi Anwar
00:16:49has said
00:16:51that there is
00:16:53more than 50% water
00:16:55shortage in Rabi.
00:16:57Qazi Anwar
00:16:59has said
00:17:01that there is
00:17:03more than 50% water
00:17:05shortage in Rabi.
00:17:35Do you know what our number is in this?
00:17:37Which one?
00:17:37The countries where the level of water is very high.
00:17:39This is our third number.
00:17:41This is a very alarming situation.
00:17:43And every citizen in the country faces a 20% water shortage.
00:17:47Approximately 80% of the population does not have clean drinking water.
00:17:52And on a global scale, the chance of water being stored is 40%.
00:17:56Whereas only 10% of the rivers are stored by Pakistan.
00:18:00So this is a very alarming situation.
00:18:02Very alarming situation.
00:18:03We have with us the water expert, Asghar Hussain.
00:18:06Asghar sahab, thank you very much for joining us in the program.
00:18:09Please tell us, why is there a water crisis in Pakistan?
00:18:13What are the reasons?
00:18:15And later we will come to how we can cope up with this crisis.
00:18:19But what are the basic reasons for this crisis?
00:18:23Yes, sir. Thank you.
00:18:25We have to understand the issue of water.
00:18:28We have to understand the challenges of climate change.
00:18:32For example, the water level in our dams has reached a very high level.
00:18:38And now we are facing a problem.
00:18:41Secondly, the surface water that we get annually in the rivers is 140 MAF.
00:18:47We have to look at these numbers.
00:18:49In the canal system that we have, we divert 104 MAF for irrigation.
00:18:55Now we have to look at the sources of water.
00:19:00Actually, our entire system is connected to the surface water.
00:19:05And the surface water is not meeting our requirements.
00:19:11It is currently not meeting our requirements.
00:19:13And we tried to make some more canals.
00:19:15But there was a human cry and fights started.
00:19:19We have to see what other sources we have.
00:19:23The water storage that nature has provided us, we have not explored it yet.
00:19:29And now we have a chance.
00:19:31We have recently done a study.
00:19:33In which we have seen that the water available in the sand below our rivers is approximately 500 MAF.
00:19:40If we connect it to our system,
00:19:44then the threats of climate change,
00:19:46that we can get a drought of 3-4 years,
00:19:49or a lot of water can come in the form of floods,
00:19:52if we connect all these things to it, we can easily manage it.
00:19:57Now, we have the technology,
00:20:02we have the materials,
00:20:04we have the big pipes available.
00:20:06So basically, we have to shift the flow of this canal to the pressure.
00:20:13When we come to the pressure,
00:20:15we have a very large source below our rivers.
00:20:19We can bring it out of all these situations.
00:20:24And if we use that source,
00:20:27then when our water flows in the rivers,
00:20:29the surface water,
00:20:30then it will recharge more.
00:20:32When it will recharge more,
00:20:34then the capacity of our rivers will increase to control floods.
00:20:39So we have options.
00:20:41We have a win-win situation.
00:20:44Mr. Asghar, tell us one thing.
00:20:46Nowadays, Sindh has shown a lot of reservation
00:20:49on the situation of the canal being built.
00:20:52Can you tell us a little about the problem of Sindh?
00:20:55Because it is said that if new canals are built,
00:20:58then the rest of the problem will be aggravated.
00:21:02So how can this be solved?
00:21:04Yes, absolutely.
00:21:06The people of Sindh who are investigating and making noise,
00:21:09they are fine.
00:21:10Because the groundwater they have is less
00:21:13and they are running on surface water.
00:21:15And the way we are diverting water,
00:21:18the lack of water is basically felt more in the downstream.
00:21:22So that's why our research,
00:21:25whatever we have studied,
00:21:27we are saying that we should free the surface water.
00:21:30Rivers should flow in it.
00:21:34And if we connect our system with riverine aquifer,
00:21:40then we will be able to control drought
00:21:47and also the lack of water.
00:21:51So Mr. Asghar, the canals that we are talking about,
00:21:54please explain to us
00:21:56whether the purpose of these canals is related to the direction of water
00:22:01or is it related to the conservation of water?
00:22:06See, the canals are not compatible with climate change.
00:22:12Simple as that.
00:22:14The canals are not compatible.
00:22:16We have to come to modern technologies.
00:22:19We have to change the system.
00:22:21The modern technologies through which we take water from riverine aquifer
00:22:25is RBF, River Basin Filtration Technology.
00:22:30We supply water through pipes.
00:22:33And the benefit of pipes is that your water is not wasted.
00:22:37In the current canal system,
00:22:39about 70% of our water is waste.
00:22:43And if we use the same water through pipes and riverbank filtration,
00:22:49then we can save a lot of water.
00:22:53Mr. Asghar, please tell us
00:22:55whether we can recycle water in any way
00:22:58and are we recycling water in Pakistan?
00:23:02See, the water that is in our riverine aquifer,
00:23:06if we tap that water,
00:23:08then we don't need such things anymore.
00:23:11Our rivers will run
00:23:13and our wetlands will be restored.
00:23:16River corridors will be restored.
00:23:18And all the problems we are facing now,
00:23:21all these will be eliminated.
00:23:25Let's hope that things can be improved.
00:23:28Thank you so much for being with us, Mr. Asghar Hussain.
00:23:31And there are solutions if we work on them.
00:23:34And if we coordinate with each other in the morning
00:23:36and listen to their problems,
00:23:38then we can come up with better solutions.
00:23:40Let's take a break.
00:23:42You don't go anywhere.
00:23:47Welcome back.
00:23:50In the first hour, we thought
00:23:52to tell you all the problems and the prices
00:23:54so that in the second hour,
00:23:56we can give you good news,
00:23:58tell you recipes and talk about food.
00:24:00So, I don't see any possibility
00:24:02of solving Karachi's problems.
00:24:05I am laughing at the fact that
00:24:07the topic is very serious.
00:24:09It's been 8 days since Saim came.
00:24:11But Saim has become an expert on Karachi's problems.
00:24:14Saim, to be honest,
00:24:16the way we tell you on TV,
00:24:18this is how Karachi looks to you.
00:24:20Yes, this is how it looks to me.
00:24:22I get news from everywhere
00:24:24because of my friends.
00:24:26And then again,
00:24:28Karachi's air has also been affected.
00:24:30Now, I don't have any problem.
00:24:32No matter how many holes I get,
00:24:34I knock on the door and reach home.
00:24:36I am used to it.
00:24:38My muscles have adapted to it.
00:24:40Now, broken roads,
00:24:42piles of garbage,
00:24:44water,
00:24:46and manholes.
00:24:48These are such poor facilities.
00:24:50There is a problem of transportation.
00:24:52Tickets,
00:24:54parking,
00:24:56we have all these problems.
00:24:58Now,
00:25:00the Prime Minister has started
00:25:02a new initiative in Karachi.
00:25:04He has created a portal.
00:25:06He has named the initiative
00:25:08Issues Portal.
00:25:10Assistant and Deputy Commissioner
00:25:12will have to upload reports
00:25:14on the issues of Karachi.
00:25:16The Prime Minister, Murad Ali Shah,
00:25:18has instructed to create a portal
00:25:20for reporting on the issues of Karachi.
00:25:22The road cutting will be approved
00:25:24only by the Mayor and Commissioner of Karachi.
00:25:26Now,
00:25:28what has happened?
00:25:30In the meeting,
00:25:32there was a discussion on issues
00:25:34like illegal construction,
00:25:36road construction,
00:25:38cleanliness, security,
00:25:40and traffic management.
00:25:42We have decided to improve these services.
00:25:44Now, in the CM House,
00:25:46a special Karachi Issues Portal will be created
00:25:48where the Assistant Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner
00:25:50will have to upload updates
00:25:52on all these issues.
00:25:54It is a lot of responsibility
00:25:56because Karachi is a big city.
00:25:58Obviously, the problems are very serious.
00:26:00We have with us the Translator,
00:26:02Sindh Government, Nadir Gabol.
00:26:04Nadir, thank you so much for joining us.
00:26:06Please tell us what this portal is.
00:26:08Will only the Commissioners
00:26:10upload all the details?
00:26:12Will the public have access to it?
00:26:14Assalam-o-Alaikum,
00:26:16thank you very much.
00:26:18For a long time,
00:26:20we have been receiving complaints
00:26:22from the citizens of Karachi
00:26:24that the basic issues of Karachi
00:26:26are not being addressed.
00:26:28Although, the Mayor is also
00:26:30from the Pakistan People's Party
00:26:32and the Sindh Government is also
00:26:34from the Pakistan People's Party.
00:26:36The main issue has been identified.
00:26:38We have built a road
00:26:40similar to the road in Lahore
00:26:42or the Shahra-e-Tastoor in Islamabad.
00:26:44We have built a road at that level.
00:26:46I will send you the video
00:26:48of this challenge.
00:26:50Later, the Sui Gas people
00:26:52started working to build a gas line.
00:26:54They dug up the entire road.
00:26:56When the Sui Gas people left,
00:26:58we built a road again.
00:27:00Then, the Water Board came
00:27:02and dug up the road again.
00:27:04This issue has become so serious
00:27:06that I am giving an example of a road.
00:27:08There are many such examples.
00:27:10Because of the lack of coordination
00:27:12between the different departments,
00:27:14the issue of Karachi
00:27:16has to be addressed.
00:27:18The Chief Minister of Karachi
00:27:20and other high-level officials
00:27:22in the CM House
00:27:24have identified
00:27:26that there should be
00:27:28a one-window operation.
00:27:30It has been agreed
00:27:32and it will be implemented.
00:27:34All the road cutting permissions
00:27:36will be provided under one window
00:27:38so that we do not have to face
00:27:40this issue again.
00:27:42In the future,
00:27:44it is being considered
00:27:46that the issues of the public
00:27:48should be addressed directly
00:27:50to the CM House and the CM level.
00:27:52If not to the CM level,
00:27:54then it should be addressed
00:27:56to the Mayor level.
00:27:58It should be addressed
00:28:00with video and photo evidence.
00:28:02It should be worked on.
00:28:04Nadir, tell us
00:28:06that there is not only one issue
00:28:08in the city.
00:28:10There are a lot of issues in the city.
00:28:12For the success of this experiment,
00:28:14how much hope do you have?
00:28:16Who will fulfill the important responsibilities?
00:28:18Who will do the scrutiny?
00:28:20Who will do the check and balance?
00:28:22Who will do the follow-up?
00:28:24Who will act on the identified issue?
00:28:26It will be a little
00:28:28boring and long.
00:28:30But I can briefly explain
00:28:32that any city in the world
00:28:34like New York,
00:28:36the Mayor of New York is so powerful
00:28:38that the Police, Commissioners,
00:28:40all the institutions related to the government
00:28:42are under the Mayor.
00:28:44In Karachi, unfortunately,
00:28:46the town system is different.
00:28:48The Mayor is different.
00:28:50The cantonment system is different.
00:28:52For example, the defense area.
00:28:54If you look at the defense
00:28:56which is a posh area
00:28:58which collects crores of rupees
00:29:00from a family of 1,000-10,000
00:29:02instead of taxes
00:29:04in a year.
00:29:06If you look at those facilities
00:29:08in the defense,
00:29:10you will get better defense
00:29:12than sports grounds
00:29:14or family parks.
00:29:16The defense does not come
00:29:18under the Mayor.
00:29:20The Mayor himself lives
00:29:22in the defense
00:29:24but if there is a dug up street
00:29:26then the Mayor cannot do anything
00:29:28because he will have to call the DHA
00:29:30or the Cantonment Board.
00:29:32Sir, recently, I have been to Lyari
00:29:342-3 times.
00:29:36I have seen the sewage issues there.
00:29:38As a newcomer, as an outsider,
00:29:40I am telling you from a third-person point of view,
00:29:42I have also seen the garbage lying there.
00:29:44I have also seen the closed gutters there.
00:29:46And there are hires being made
00:29:48in small alleys.
00:29:50And then again, there was a famous
00:29:52Fawara Chowk, which was colourful,
00:29:54which was demolished,
00:29:56and now it has become a Chowk.
00:29:58I have seen all these things.
00:30:00In front of Meera Naka Chaurangi,
00:30:02Mr. Bilawal Duttwadzari
00:30:04has killed
00:30:06one of our senior workers,
00:30:08Ms. Naseema Baloch.
00:30:10A family park was built in her name.
00:30:12A very beautiful botanical garden was built there.
00:30:14But later, it was not upkept.
00:30:16So, we work.
00:30:18But unfortunately,
00:30:20as I am trying to explain to you,
00:30:22there are different institutions.
00:30:24The town's institution is different.
00:30:26The water board's institution is different.
00:30:28There is no coordination between them.
00:30:30Because of this, it is not that the government
00:30:32or the People's Party or the Sindh government
00:30:34do not want to work.
00:30:36We work and give.
00:30:38We inaugurated an international football stadium
00:30:40two months ago.
00:30:42But as we are talking about Lihari,
00:30:44there are narrow and narrow alleys.
00:30:46Highways are being built there.
00:30:48So, it will not be built in a day.
00:30:50The house of my family in Lihari
00:30:52in front of Kabul Park
00:30:54is a 100-year-old house.
00:30:56Lihari is a very old settlement.
00:30:58It is 200 years old.
00:31:00So, obviously,
00:31:02it has become an overpopulated area.
00:31:04Because of that,
00:31:06there is a lot of stress on the infrastructure.
00:31:08But what can we do?
00:31:1010-10 people live there in one room.
00:31:12So, where can we shift them?
00:31:14They do not even want to shift.
00:31:16And the people of Lihari
00:31:18cannot even live there.
00:31:20So, if you look at the infrastructure of Lihari,
00:31:22the population density is higher
00:31:24than anywhere else in the country.
00:31:26So, the issues of Lihari are different.
00:31:28We are doing work in Lihari.
00:31:30I told you about Chakiwada Road.
00:31:32We have also built Tenderi Road
00:31:34in front of Lihari General Hospital.
00:31:36We have built an international football stadium there.
00:31:38We have built a multi-sports complex.
00:31:40I wanted to explain to you
00:31:42that I am getting videos from Kakri Ground
00:31:44that the Wi-Fi work there
00:31:46is not good.
00:31:48We ask the people of the town
00:31:50that we have told the solid waste people
00:31:52that we had to pick up the garbage
00:31:54and the machinery broke down.
00:31:56So, there is a need to improve the coordination.
00:31:58This is what we are discussing with the CM.
00:32:00Overall, if we talk about Karachi,
00:32:02the road that is being built
00:32:04from Mangopir to Banaras,
00:32:06it has been built many times.
00:32:08The carpeting is the same.
00:32:10The tankers come and
00:32:12take away half the water.
00:32:14The road gets clogged.
00:32:16The road gets damaged again.
00:32:18So, either the tankers
00:32:20should be stopped
00:32:22or the road should be built
00:32:24so that it does not get damaged.
00:32:26What can be done?
00:32:28What is the solution?
00:32:30Unfortunately,
00:32:32the problem is that
00:32:34the road is built
00:32:36but the cable TV
00:32:38or the internet
00:32:40comes and destroys it.
00:32:42When they rebuild it,
00:32:44they don't do it
00:32:46the way the government does.
00:32:48Inshallah,
00:32:50strict action will be taken
00:32:52on the road.
00:32:54Without the permission
00:32:56or the notice of the government,
00:32:58strict action will be taken.
00:33:00Everything will be streamlined.
00:33:02Inshallah,
00:33:04I am sure that
00:33:06these issues will be solved.
00:33:08Karachi is the biggest city in Pakistan
00:33:10but we will bring it to the level
00:33:12of London, Shanghai
00:33:14and other big cities.
00:33:16Inshallah, we will bring it to that level.
00:33:18Thank you very much,
00:33:20Nadir, for joining our program.
00:33:22Karachi should not be called
00:33:24but Karachi has been made
00:33:26a place of problems.
00:33:28There are so many problems.
00:33:30Will all these problems
00:33:32be solved through a portal?
00:33:34Let's see.
00:33:36Karachi has a lot of potential.
00:33:38We will take a short break.
00:33:40You don't have to go anywhere.
00:33:42We will be back.
00:33:46Welcome back.
00:33:48Let's talk about
00:33:50Punjab and KP water.
00:33:52What is happening there?
00:33:54If we talk about March,
00:33:56the 7th attack of foreign terrorists
00:33:58was a failure.
00:34:00The Tarjuman police
00:34:02has given more details.
00:34:04Babar Khan is with us.
00:34:06He will update us.
00:34:08Babar Khan, tell us.
00:34:10The 7th attack of foreign terrorists
00:34:12on Punjab and KP water
00:34:14was a failure.
00:34:16According to the Punjab police
00:34:18Tarjuman, Punjab police
00:34:20was involved in
00:34:22paroling and checking
00:34:24operations.
00:34:26When the police
00:34:28advanced
00:34:30against the presence
00:34:32of foreign terrorists
00:34:34in KP water,
00:34:36the terrorists
00:34:38attacked the police
00:34:40from ICD.
00:34:42The vehicles were damaged.
00:34:44All the youths were safe.
00:34:46The police
00:34:48changed the firing.
00:34:50The youths were shot
00:34:52in the forehead.
00:34:54The terrorists
00:34:56surrendered.
00:34:58The youths
00:35:00were given
00:35:02food.
00:35:04The 7th attack
00:35:06was a failure.
00:35:08The Punjab police
00:35:10has given more details.
00:35:12Babar Khan, tell us.
00:35:14Babar Khan, tell us.
00:35:16Babar Khan, tell us.
00:35:18Babar Khan, tell us.
00:35:20Babar Khan, tell us.
00:35:22Babar Khan, tell us.
00:35:24Babar Khan, tell us.
00:35:26Babar Khan, tell us.

00:39:44Opposition leaders in the assembly.
00:39:46Ali Khurshidi.
00:39:48Ali, thank you very much for joining our program.
00:39:50The Sindh government claims that
00:39:5260% of Karachi's street crimes
00:39:54have been reduced.
00:39:56To what extent is this claim true?
00:39:58What would you say about this?
00:40:02Well, look,
00:40:04street crime incidents in Karachi
00:40:06if you do a comparative analysis
00:40:08of
00:40:102024 and 2025
00:40:12you will find that
00:40:14the number of street crimes
00:40:16will be somewhat less this year.
00:40:18But you have to understand
00:40:20that there are many reasons
00:40:22behind this.
00:40:24One is
00:40:26obviously
00:40:28the police's efforts
00:40:30to improve their work.
00:40:32The second important thing is
00:40:34that people
00:40:36are reluctant
00:40:38to go to the police station.
00:40:40So this is a fundamental issue
00:40:42that I think
00:40:44if you compare the numbers
00:40:46of 2024 and 2025
00:40:48you will find better numbers.
00:40:50But still, in this city,
00:40:52on a daily basis, street crime incidents
00:40:54are happening.
00:40:56People are not allowed to go to the police station.
00:40:58And some new methods
00:41:00have been introduced
00:41:02where people are killed.
00:41:04Dumpers are killed.
00:41:06Heavy traffic is killed.
00:41:08There are many reasons behind this.
00:41:10Ali Khurshidi,
00:41:12would you appreciate
00:41:14the Sindh government's efforts
00:41:16to reduce the number of street crimes
00:41:18at least comparatively?
00:41:20Well, look,
00:41:22I told you in the beginning
00:41:24that if I do a comparative analysis
00:41:26of 2024 and 2025
00:41:28you will find that the numbers are less.
00:41:30But these numbers
00:41:32are on and off.
00:41:34If I say that
00:41:36in this year,
00:41:38the way people were being killed
00:41:40last year,
00:41:42if I compare that
00:41:44with this year,
00:41:46you will see police efforts.
00:41:48But still,
00:41:50I am saying again
00:41:52that these efforts
00:41:54are very less for a city like Karachi.
00:41:56You will have to do better
00:41:58so that today,
00:42:001500 mobile phones
00:42:02are being snatched in a month.
00:42:04So, these numbers are not good.
00:42:06Normally, the numbers
00:42:08keep changing.
00:42:10Sometimes the numbers increase,
00:42:12sometimes they decrease.
00:42:14But thanks to Allah,
00:42:16in this Ramadan,
00:42:18the incidents are not as bad
00:42:20as they were last year.
00:42:22So, at least this is a peaceful situation
00:42:24for the people of Karachi.
00:42:26Thank you very much.
00:42:28Opposition leader Ali Khurshidi
00:42:30was with us.
00:42:32Now, we will see
00:42:34the result of this
00:42:36portal.
00:42:38Because bigger problems
00:42:40can be solved.
00:42:42Finally,
00:42:44everyone is waiting for today's recipe.
00:42:46So, what is today's recipe?
00:42:48This is Chapli Burger
00:42:50with
00:42:52Sagu drink.
00:42:54Sagu drink.
00:42:56Yesterday it was Sattu drink, today it is Sagu drink.
00:42:58Let's see what it is.

00:44:20Now, roast the bun in the pan.
00:44:24Now, dish out it.
00:44:28Now, we will prepare Sagu drink.

00:45:06Now, mix it well.
00:45:08Take it out in a glass.
00:45:26Our Chapli Burger and Sagu drink is ready.
00:45:30Wow!
00:45:34Sagu drink is amazing.
00:45:36It will be refreshing in summer.
00:45:38You are right.
00:45:40Rooh Afza and Chapli Kebabs
00:45:42are a perfect combination.
00:45:44Very nice.
00:45:46Let's take a break.
00:45:48I will order from downstairs.
00:45:50Done.
00:45:56Assalamualaikum.
00:45:58Welcome back.

00:46:12important news,
00:46:14delicious dishes,
00:46:16recipes,
00:46:18social issues, economic issues
00:46:20and other important news.
00:46:24We request you to share your feedback.
00:46:26If you see us on social media,
00:46:28Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook,
00:46:30do like and comment.
00:46:32Tell us how we are looking today.
00:46:34Interact with us.
00:46:36This is very important.
00:46:38We want you to
00:46:40design the show as you want.
00:46:44We discuss national issues.
00:46:46There is a lot of news
00:46:48internationally.
00:46:50There are big headlines.
00:46:52Especially after Donald Trump,
00:46:54the way he is taking steps.
00:46:56The astronauts who were saved
00:46:58after 9 months,
00:47:00were stranded in space.
00:47:02It was a very successful story.
00:47:04You told us a story
00:47:06about their height.
00:47:08Yes, they have become 3 inches taller.
00:47:10Astronaut Noor Maa
00:47:12is in space.
00:47:14There are a lot of changes in their bodies.
00:47:16It will take time for them to get familiar with gravity.
00:47:18If they pick up a water bottle,
00:47:20they won't be able to do it.
00:47:22They will have to pull the bottle.
00:47:24This is a big issue.
00:47:26When we talk internationally,
00:47:28during Ramadan,
00:47:30there were a lot of celebrations.
00:47:32We saw beautiful scenes
00:47:34from Gaza.
00:47:36After the ceasefire,
00:47:38everyone celebrated.
00:47:40We also celebrated.
00:47:42We prayed a lot.
00:47:44But Israel
00:47:46couldn't digest it.
00:47:48Israel didn't follow the agreement.
00:47:50After Ramadan,
00:47:52the bombardment
00:47:54started again.
00:47:56Our brothers and sisters
00:47:58are suffering in Gaza.
00:48:00It is heartbreaking.
00:48:02Once again,
00:48:04innocent people are being killed.
00:48:06The bombardment is getting
00:48:08worse day by day.
00:48:10In the last 3 days,
00:48:12I am telling you
00:48:14the numbers of
00:48:16200 innocent children
00:48:18and women
00:48:20who were martyred.
00:48:22We are also seeing
00:48:24that people are being
00:48:26evacuated from their homes.
00:48:28Gaza hospitals are full of
00:48:30injured people.
00:48:32I don't know if hospital
00:48:34is the right word.
00:48:36They didn't even leave
00:48:38hospitals and schools.
00:48:40There are no facilities.
00:48:42People are working
00:48:44under you.
00:48:46NGOs are helping.
00:48:48There is no structure
00:48:50there.
00:48:52They turned hospitals
00:48:54into graveyards.
00:48:56The Israeli soldiers
00:48:58bombed the hospital.
00:49:00After that,
00:49:02the Pakistan-Israeli
00:49:04Security Council
00:49:06asked for a resolution.
00:49:08The UN Secretary-General
00:49:10Munir Akram said
00:49:12the international community
00:49:14should not be fooled.
00:49:16If the war is not stopped,
00:49:18the worst situation
00:49:20will come to the world.
00:49:22The world will become
00:49:24hell.
00:49:26The world will be
00:49:28a place of chaos and destruction.
00:49:30Munir Akram said
00:49:32Israel has spread
00:49:34genocide to the west.
00:49:36Israel has more than
00:49:3890% of the population
00:49:40of Gaza.
00:49:42Let's see
00:49:44what he has to say.
00:50:1290,000 of Gaza's population
00:50:14faces starvation
00:50:16due to Israel's blockade.
00:50:18Newborn babies
00:50:20are reportedly dying.
00:50:22Civilian structures,
00:50:24hospitals, schools and mosques
00:50:26are being destroyed
00:50:28on the pretext of targeting
00:50:30combatants.
00:50:32Every principle of international
00:50:34law, including international
00:50:36humanitarian law,
00:50:38has been violated.
00:50:42Israel's silence is
00:50:44disturbing.
00:50:46There are videos
00:50:48and pictures
00:50:50showing people's
00:50:52protest.
00:50:54But we can imagine
00:50:56Ramadan.
00:50:58We have with us
00:51:00former ambassador
00:51:02Aizaz Chaudhry.
00:51:04Thank you so much
00:51:06for joining us.
00:51:08We were hopeful
00:51:10that Ramadan would be peaceful.
00:51:12But it didn't happen.
00:51:14Israel didn't comply with the agreement.
00:51:16Donald Trump wants to
00:51:18incite Israel.
00:51:20What do you think is the solution?
00:51:22Although Pakistan
00:51:24and other Muslim countries
00:51:26are raising their voices,
00:51:28do you think this is an effective
00:51:30jama'at?
00:51:32Israel and the US
00:51:34are not
00:51:36pressuring
00:51:38Pakistan.
00:51:40They don't want
00:51:42to take any
00:51:44advice.
00:51:46They are creating
00:51:48a situation
00:51:50that is completely
00:51:52genocide.
00:51:54Unfortunately,
00:51:56the world is not
00:51:58stopping them.
00:52:00As you said
00:52:02in the beginning,
00:52:04the way they came back
00:52:06to their homes
00:52:08and were trying to
00:52:10settle them,
00:52:12it is clear that
00:52:14they did Phase 1
00:52:16of ceasefire
00:52:18just to get
00:52:20their hostages.
00:52:22If their prisoners
00:52:24come back,
00:52:26they are doing the same
00:52:28for the others.
00:52:30Some say they are not alive.
00:52:32We don't know.
00:52:34They were only
00:52:36trying to get their hostages back.
00:52:38Otherwise, there was no interest
00:52:40in their ceasefire.
00:52:42The question is,
00:52:44what do they want?
00:52:46It is clear that
00:52:48they are going
00:52:50towards Greater Israel.
00:52:52Even today,
00:52:54I was reading
00:52:56that they are
00:52:58completely occupying
00:53:00Southern Gaza and
00:53:02no one will be able
00:53:04to come there.
00:53:06They are going towards
00:53:08Greater Israel and
00:53:10West Bank.
00:53:12The only
00:53:14challenge they have
00:53:16is Iran.
00:53:18They want to surround
00:53:20Iran.
00:53:22Houthis have reacted
00:53:24but they are bombing
00:53:26Iran.
00:53:28Iran does not want
00:53:30to bomb but they want
00:53:32to surround it.
00:53:34This is another
00:53:36reason for instability.
00:53:38Now, the question is,
00:53:40what should they do?
00:53:42You said that
00:53:44Mandoob and the rest
00:53:46of the Muslim and Arab world
00:53:48are saying something but no one
00:53:50is listening.
00:53:52Donald Trump said that
00:53:54they should go to the Arab countries.
00:53:56Naturally, they don't want to go there.
00:53:58So, the Arab countries
00:54:00gave their plan and
00:54:02said that they should
00:54:04be settled here.
00:54:06But they are bombing
00:54:08and they want to
00:54:10completely destroy it.
00:54:12The Holocaust that
00:54:14the Jews are talking about
00:54:16and what happened
00:54:18to them in the
00:54:20German prisons,
00:54:22they are showing
00:54:24more cowardice than that.
00:54:26When we read about the Holocaust,
00:54:28we are surprised
00:54:30how the world
00:54:32remained silent.
00:54:34The barbarism was
00:54:36on a large scale.
00:54:38Even the common people
00:54:40were not aware of it.
00:54:42We think that we have
00:54:44progressed a lot.
00:54:46We have learned a lot from the past.
00:54:48Now, no country will be able
00:54:50to become Hitler.
00:54:52But in Israel,
00:54:54the same people are being
00:54:56persecuted.
00:54:58What should we learn
00:55:00from this?
00:55:02Why are the rest of the countries
00:55:04silent?
00:55:06The rest of the West
00:55:08talks about democracy and rights.
00:55:10What are they doing?
00:55:12Since Donald Trump
00:55:14came to power,
00:55:16the world has been
00:55:18suffering from another
00:55:20calamity.
00:55:22There has been a wave
00:55:24against immigrants.
00:55:26There has been a wave
00:55:28against nationalism.
00:55:30If you look at
00:55:32Europe,
00:55:34if you look at
00:55:36Germany at that time,
00:55:38it seems that we are
00:55:40going back to that time
00:55:42when there was
00:55:44strong nationalism in Germany
00:55:46which gave
00:55:48Hitler the opportunity
00:55:50to rekindle
00:55:52the emotions of his people
00:55:54so that they feel that
00:55:56all these Jews and other foreigners
00:55:58should be killed.
00:56:00The same kind of environment
00:56:02is being created even now.
00:56:04It is permissible
00:56:06to treat
00:56:08foreigners in America
00:56:10and Europe.
00:56:12This feeling of nationalism
00:56:14plus militarism.
00:56:16The second reason is that
00:56:18you have seen in Europe
00:56:20that there is a lot of
00:56:22discussion about the
00:56:24war in Ukraine.
00:56:26This is the West
00:56:28and you are talking about Europe.
00:56:30Why aren't Islamic countries
00:56:32taking action to help
00:56:34Palestine?
00:56:36Why is the matter
00:56:38limited to statements
00:56:40and condemnation?
00:56:42They have condemned
00:56:44some things,
00:56:46they have said that
00:56:48the countries that have
00:56:50diplomatic relations with them
00:56:52should be removed,
00:56:54the countries that have
00:56:56commercial relations with them
00:56:58should be boycotted.
00:57:00We have not seen anything
00:57:02like that.
00:57:04In fact,
00:57:06we have seen the
00:57:08silence of the Arab street.
00:57:10We have heard very few
00:57:12voices in the Muslim world.
00:57:14In Europe as well.
00:57:16The voices of the people
00:57:18of Gaza are very little.
00:57:20This is why there is no
00:57:22pressure on them.
00:57:24They are playing
00:57:26and doing what they want.
00:57:28Thank you very much
00:57:30Mr. Shaudri.
00:57:32Thank you very much for
00:57:34taking the time.
00:57:36When we try to discuss
00:57:38all these issues,
00:57:40there is a solution
00:57:42which is to meet
00:57:44the Islamic world.
00:57:46Let's talk about
00:57:48health.
00:57:50I am getting angry
00:57:52a lot these days.
00:57:54Why?
00:57:56I think my BP is high.
00:57:58Have you got it checked?
00:58:00No, I don't get time
00:58:02to get it checked.
00:58:04Please don't get angry.
00:58:06People get angry
00:58:08in Ramadan.
00:58:10In Punjabi families,
00:58:12there is a machine
00:58:14for checking BP.
00:58:16There is a machine
00:58:18at home.
00:58:20Whenever someone
00:58:22has a headache,
00:58:24they get it checked.
00:58:26Even if you run
00:58:28from somewhere,
00:58:30they get it checked.
00:58:32Please don't do this.
00:58:34I will try to find out
00:58:36when is the best time
00:58:38to get it checked.
00:58:40We are talking about BP.
00:58:42People have BP issues
00:58:44even before and after
00:58:46iftar.
00:58:48I don't think
00:58:50checking BP
00:58:52is a problem.
00:58:54Why are you
00:58:56putting yourself
00:58:58in tension?
00:59:00It is related to
00:59:02the issue of BP
00:59:04in young people.
00:59:06Young people
00:59:08have high BP.
00:59:10One report
00:59:12states that women
00:59:14need more sleep.
00:59:16They need 9 hours of sleep.
00:59:18Our focus is
00:59:20sleep, rest
00:59:22and a balanced life.
00:59:24But your diet
00:59:26affects your health.
00:59:28Let me tell you
00:59:30that BP is a big issue
00:59:32in Pakistan.
00:59:34Millions of people
00:59:36are suffering from it.
00:59:38Like Saim said,
00:59:40they are feeling it.
00:59:42We think
00:59:44it happens in older ages.
00:59:46But it is not true.
00:59:48It happens in young people too.
00:59:50We have a guest
00:59:52with us.
00:59:54Dr. Inaam Danish.
00:59:56Thank you very much
00:59:58for joining our program.
01:00:00What are the reasons
01:00:02why you are
01:00:04taking less sleep?
01:00:06Tell us
01:00:08if your heart
01:00:10is beating fast,
01:00:12does it mean your BP is increasing?
01:00:14No.
01:00:16If we divide
01:00:18BP and age,
01:00:20usually people
01:00:22have BP above 40.
01:00:24If BP is less than 40,
01:00:26there are some reasons.
01:00:28We try to
01:00:30identify those reasons
01:00:32so that we can correct it.
01:00:34Otherwise, the only treatment for BP
01:00:36is to take medicines.
01:00:38But before 40,
01:00:40there can be some reasons
01:00:42to cure BP.
01:00:44For example?
01:00:46If we divide,
01:00:48even a 1 year old child
01:00:50has BP.
01:00:52Children from 1 to 18
01:00:54also have BP.
01:00:56It is the school's responsibility
01:00:58to check the BP
01:01:00of the children
01:01:02who go to school.
01:01:04It is a treatable disease.
01:01:06In this age,
01:01:08children from 1 to 18
01:01:10should check the BP
01:01:12of all the children.
01:01:14Symptoms are there.
01:01:16At that time,
01:01:18many things have advanced.
01:01:20You should make a routine
01:01:22to check the BP
01:01:24of the children
01:01:26to check the BP
01:01:28of the children.
01:01:30It is a psychological effect.
01:01:32I want to say something else.
01:01:34Today, the message is
01:01:36that all the children
01:01:38should check the BP of the children.
01:01:40A gentleman brought his daughter
01:01:42to me.
01:01:44She was 14 years old.
01:01:46I have been treating her
01:01:48for many years.
01:01:50Her BP is not getting better.
01:01:52I applied what I had read.
01:01:54I checked the BP
01:01:56of her hands and feet.
01:01:58Her BP was low.
01:02:00I confirmed it.
01:02:02There is a thing called
01:02:04coctation of aorta.
01:02:06The main artery of the heart
01:02:08narrows.
01:02:10Gradually, it increases.
01:02:12If we check the BP
01:02:14at a young age,
01:02:16the treatment is done.
01:02:18A few days ago,
01:02:20a gentleman came to me.
01:02:22He said that
01:02:24this is the girl
01:02:26who was treated for BP.
01:02:28I identified the reason.
01:02:30Her surgery was done.
01:02:32Now, she is getting married.
01:02:34I have brought her to meet you.
01:02:36The reason is that
01:02:38at the age of 1 to 18,
01:02:40the coctation of aorta
01:02:42can be blocked.
01:02:44Are there any symptoms
01:02:46in the child?
01:02:48Symptoms are
01:02:50shortness of breath,
01:02:52palpitation,
01:02:54chest pain,
01:02:56malingering,
01:02:58tension,
01:03:00etc.
01:03:02If the child complains
01:03:04of chest pain,
01:03:06the doctor should take him to the doctor.
01:03:08This is a big example.
01:03:10When I took my daughter to the doctor,
01:03:12the doctor said that
01:03:14she has chest pain.
01:03:16The doctor said that
01:03:18she has chest pain.
01:03:20This is a big example.
01:03:22I have never seen a patient
01:03:24who has chest pain.
01:03:26What is the number of normal BP?
01:03:30Age wise,
01:03:32the blood pressure in the adult life
01:03:34should be less than 120-80.
01:03:36110-70
01:03:38is normal.
01:03:40In a young age,
01:03:42if it is 120-80,
01:03:44then this is also a high BP.
01:03:46110-170 is the optimum.
01:03:48Since we are talking about the increasing blood pressure in young people
01:03:53and the cases that are being reported,
01:03:55is the increasing blood pressure in young people
01:04:00affecting our mental health?
01:04:04Stress, mental stress, pressure, exams, job, all these things.
01:04:09You are focusing a lot on mental health.
01:04:12This is also an issue.
01:04:14But this is also a topic.
01:04:16Age 20 to 39,
01:04:19in this category, the young age that you are discussing,
01:04:22why is the blood pressure high in them?
01:04:25Genetically, the family that has high blood pressure in the young age,
01:04:29if it is a parent or a sibling,
01:04:32usually at the age of less than 48,
01:04:34if someone has high blood pressure,
01:04:36there are chances that the child also has high blood pressure.
01:04:40Even at the age of 20.
01:04:42At the age of 20 to 40,
01:04:441 out of 8 children have high blood pressure.
01:04:48In adults, 1 out of 4,
01:04:52but in young age, 1 out of 8 children have high blood pressure.
01:04:56So, one reason is genetic.
01:04:58That these children have a genetic predisposition.
01:05:01Secondly, the most important thing for us is physical inactivity.
01:05:06We work in the office, stay at home,
01:05:09there is a lot of stress mentally,
01:05:12but we do not work physically.
01:05:14Physically, you have to walk 150 minutes a week.
01:05:19Exercise.
01:05:21You have to exercise 150 minutes a week.
01:05:23Now, whether you do 20 minutes daily,
01:05:25whether you do 50 minutes three times a week,
01:05:28but to stay normal,
01:05:30you have to walk 150 minutes a week.
01:05:34Exercise is very important in our life.
01:05:36Exercise or at least walk.
01:05:38After that, there is weight.
01:05:40If you are overweight,
01:05:42then you have to control that too.
01:05:44The best way to control overweight,
01:05:47I tell you,
01:05:48that you reduce the protein rice
01:05:50or stop it, the weight will be reduced.
01:05:52Do not do anything, just give protein rice.
01:05:54That is, reduce your carbs.
01:05:56Reducing carbohydrates is also good.
01:05:58Reduce the portion size too,
01:05:59which has a lot of effect on your health.
01:06:01Thank you so much Dr. Inam is with us
01:06:03and you have given very useful advice.
01:06:05If you take care of these things
01:06:07and overweight invites diseases,
01:06:09then take care,
01:06:10opt for a healthy lifestyle.
01:06:12We will go for a break.
01:06:14We will be back after a short break.
01:06:19Welcome back once again.
01:06:21You must be thinking,
01:06:23why are we telling you about the cost?
01:06:25Why are we telling you that the cost is so high
01:06:27that you cannot buy meat, chicken, vegetables?
01:06:29We have discussed a lot of issues today.
01:06:31But we also tell you some things
01:06:33and you will be surprised to hear
01:06:35that this also happens.
01:06:37This also happens in today's time.
01:06:39Islamabad has a mosque
01:06:41where thousands of families
01:06:43are provided with food.
01:06:45And not only this is done for them,
01:06:47but Eid gifts are also given
01:06:49which include new shoes,
01:06:51clothes and other things.
01:06:53So Farah Rabbani is telling us from there.
01:06:55Islamabad's mosque
01:06:57is also special for those
01:06:59who deserve it
01:07:01Here,
01:07:03for the registered families,
01:07:05food is provided in Ramadan.
01:07:07Along with that,
01:07:09Eid gifts are also provided
01:07:11in the name of Jannat Sale.
01:07:15Here,
01:07:17there is a variety of new shoes
01:07:19and clothes on Eid.
01:07:21Whoever is in need,
01:07:23can take things of their choice.
01:07:25The concept is that
01:07:27the deprivation of Allah
01:07:29cannot be removed,
01:07:31but it can be given as a gift.
01:07:33There is no end to the happiness
01:07:35of those who get their choice
01:07:37of shoes and clothes from Jannat Sale.
01:07:39Last time also,
01:07:41our daughters got clothes,
01:07:43shoes, food,
01:07:45food, clothes,
01:07:47and it is very good.
01:07:49We are very thankful
01:07:51to Allah.
01:07:53This is because
01:07:55mosques are not only places of worship,
01:07:57but also a community center
01:07:59for the people of the area.
01:08:01On one side,
01:08:03there is food,
01:08:05on the other side,
01:08:07there are new clothes and other things.
01:08:09The people who come here
01:08:11are getting double happiness.
01:08:13With cameraman Khurram Qureshi,
01:08:15Farah Rabbani,
01:08:17ARY News, Islamabad.
01:08:19Wow!
01:08:21I was seeing that
01:08:23the dresses were very good.
01:08:25There are many thrifting stores
01:08:27in other countries,
01:08:29but the best thrifting store
01:08:31should be there.
01:08:33I think there is a thrift store
01:08:35on our defense side,
01:08:37Playhouse.
01:08:39This should be there,
01:08:41it helps people.
01:08:43There are many people
01:08:45who wear good dresses
01:08:47once or twice
01:08:49and take them out.
01:08:51This is a good way.
01:08:53If we don't feel
01:08:55that there is an increase in salaries,
01:08:57who is increasing their salaries?
01:08:59We will tell you.
01:09:01Faki Kabina has given
01:09:03full Eidi to Kabina Arqan
01:09:05before Eid.
01:09:07As long as she is in power,
01:09:09she will get Eidi every month.
01:09:11Which Eidi is this?
01:09:13Kabina Arqan's salaries
01:09:15and allowances have increased by 188%.
01:09:17According to Zarai,
01:09:19Faki Kabina has increased
01:09:21Faki Kabina Arqan's salaries
01:09:23and allowances have increased
01:09:25Faki Kabina Arqan's salaries
01:09:27and allowances have increased
01:09:29Faki Kabina Arqan's salaries
01:09:31and allowances have increased
01:09:33Faki Kabina Arqan's salaries
01:09:35and allowances have increased
01:09:37Faki Kabina Arqan's salaries
01:09:39and allowances have increased
01:09:41Faki Kabina Arqan's salaries
01:09:43and allowances have increased
01:09:45Faki Kabina Arqan's salaries
01:09:47and allowances have increased
01:09:49Similarly, the Sindh people have increased.
01:09:51Similarly, the Sindh people have increased.
01:09:53We see that all the political parties,
01:09:55whether they are in opposition,
01:09:57how many of them have differences,
01:09:59how many of them speak against each other,
01:10:01how many bills come,
01:10:03how many laws and legislations come,
01:10:05we see that there are big points,
01:10:07we see that there are big points,
01:10:09big debates, statements against each other.
01:10:11But this is the issue, Saim,
01:10:13which we all agree on.
01:10:15which we all agree on.
01:10:17Quickly, within minutes,
01:10:19such bills are passed.
01:10:21The unity that we see on such bills,
01:10:23I wish we could see that unity
01:10:25when the bills of the real issues are passed.
01:10:27This unity will be formed
01:10:29when the salaries will increase.
01:10:31And everyone's salaries should increase.
01:10:33So that the effect of inflation
01:10:35is reduced,
01:10:37and you get allowances, bonuses,
01:10:39Eidi, then what will happen?
01:10:41Then we will not see you complaining.
01:10:43We are just talking about increasing salaries.
01:10:45Welcome back.
