00:00Hundreds of thousands of jeeps and U.V. Express are in different parts of the country

00:05that will be involved in the three-day stoppage of the Manibela group on Monday.

00:25when they will conduct a three-day transport strike starting on Monday in Pasig.

00:29Caloocan and Las Piñas.

00:31The protest movements are against the incorrect number of jeeps by the driver and operator

00:36that have been consolidated under the PUV Modernization Program or PUVMP.

00:41According to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board or LTFRB,

00:46the consolidated jeeps have exceeded 80%.

00:50Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon clearly stated that only 40% of the consolidated units have been approved.

00:58The 86% that they approved or the 43% have been denied application and their papers were returned.

01:09They were not consolidated and most of all, they were just spent.

01:15Because of the incorrect number of jeeps, they asked the DOTR, which is in the 15th place,

01:20Chairman Joffrey Luguarez III and other LTFRB officials.

02:04The Pistón group also complained that they are not allowed to renew their provisional authority to those who did not follow it.

02:12Just like what Manibela wants, the Pistón group requested that they be allowed to renew their provisional authority for five years.
