01:00But how many Philippines are there? Let's find out.
01:08They say that it's common for Filipinos to be happy.
01:13No matter how tough the journey is, a smile will not be lost.
01:18But what makes Filipinos happy?
01:21That's what we asked our online supporters.
01:25A lot of people responded with money.
01:29Some even mentioned other names like salapi, kwarta, or datong.
01:35Even euro and dollars.
01:38Drop some money in the song.
01:41We listen and we don't judge because a netizen said,
01:45you can do a lot as long as you have money.

02:08Aside from that, it makes a netizen happy to work as an ed teacher.
02:13But how many Philippines are there to be happy when compared to other countries?
02:19Based on the World Happiness Report 2025, there are 57 Philippines in the survey.
02:27Finland is ahead in the list of the happiest countries in the world.
02:31This report uses the level of income, health, freedom of choice, goodwill,
02:39no corruption, and social support for one another
02:44to discuss the national happiness of a country.
02:47One of the bases of the survey where residents from different countries were asked,
02:53from 1 to 10, what grade would you give to the quality of your life?
02:59The average score of Finns is 7.74 in the last three years.
03:06They have lots of resources, GDP, and especially they share it very equally.
03:11They exhibit healthy lifestyles, healthy behaviors resulting in healthy life expectancy,
03:19and a healthcare system which is mostly universal and free.
03:24And then, importantly, social support.
03:27So they trust each other, both others in the community around them, but also the institutions.
03:33Caring and sharing is the theme of the survey this year.
03:36It also looked at the effect of sharing in the happiness of a person.
03:41It's a good thing to put a spotlight on places like Costa Rica and Mexico.
03:46They do not necessarily have the high income, GDP per capita,
03:50and the redistribution through the welfare state.
03:52What they do have, and this is also something we focused in on this year,
03:56is they have a very strong family set of family ties,
04:01so their immediate community is very strong.
